Second Genesis
Chapter 350 - 57.01%
’Holy shit...’ Grey felt a shocking amount of power roaring through his veins. It was like he could slap down a palm and shatter everything, but the mere thought of doing so took up such a large part of his blood that he had to force himself to calm down.
This was nothing like what he felt from his new Steel-Toe Shrouds. Yes, they were powerful, and yet he felt a strong surge coming from them as well. He felt like he would be able to beat the Syrn much faster with them, and even chip at the Dormaji’s armor.
But it wasn’t enough. He knew it wasn’t enough.
This, however...
He had known before that the Vampire Lord Frame’s main strength was raw power and speed. His physical stats should have been off the charts, but he had never been able to tap into them.
It was thanks to Prometheus that he finally learned why. He was no vampire, so how could he expect to gain real vampire strength from their frame?
What he probably needed to do it was a Lineage like what Amunet had. Just learning a Frame through talent alone wasn’t enough, he needed guidance to bring out its real power. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
He didn’t know that for sure, but it was a good educated guess. Though, Amunet wasn’t all that powerful in his eyes either and he could already wipe the floor with her even before all of this. So, obviously, just having a Lineage wasn’t a quick get-out-of-jail-free card.
This, however, was very different.
It seemed that having a Spirit specifically designed for a specific Frame was game changing if you could make proper use of it. Because this... this was simply on a completely different level.

’... I’ll be damned...’
It improved his +100%, applied to STR, SPD, DEX, and END, to a +570%. And, on top of that, it improved the +3 Lvs he gained originally when his Vampire Lord Frame was activated to a +5.
There were still no Harmonic Stats, unfortunately. But Grey had a feeling that that was because he needed a higher Sync Rate, and the fact that Harmonic Stats were given from this mech would be on another level. It just might sync all four physical stats.
Did he know that for sure? No. But a man could hope.
And yet, that wasn’t the end of it.
Grey’s palms flashed open and the fang daggers formed.
Blood spurted out of Grey’s pores.
’Holy fucking shit nuggets.’

Grey had to shut it down after a few seconds. It felt like his body was bursting at the seams.
But to his surprise, not long after he did this, the wounds that were accumulating within began to mend themselves, and he innately knew that the next time he activated this, he would be in a better position to last longer.
The Wolf Spirit... it was strengthening his body.
Grey grinned ear to ear.
When he summoned the fang daggers this time, he gained a +570 boost. But because this was a mech and not just any normal item, the +570% boost was applied directly to the boost as well, not just his base stats.
In the end, his overall stats skyrocketed by basically 10x their original.
Grey looked up to see Elowen looking at him with horror and surprise.
’Dammit. Well, whatever.’ Grey shrugged. It didn’t matter if he got exposed at this point. The loop was ending anyway.
Maybe he could take this chance to see if he could get to the palace this time. After all, he had a lot more cards to play this time, and maybe if he found someone with purer blood than Zara, he could give Last Paladin another boost as well.
Elowen probably didn’t have the best impression of vampires, and he didn’t blame her. He didn’t like them either. The last one he met sent naked feral babies flying at him, and then literally almost bit him in half.
BADDUM.
Chi.
Grey’s body moved before he could control it. He stood looming over Elowen, tipping her chin up with a finger until her fair neck was exposed to him beneath the dim lighting.
He bent forward, his nose grazing against the soft skin, the familiar scent of strawberry and kiwi.
He pressed his lips to it, his own neck straining as a bestial instinct shook his head.
Her blood, his body needed it. It wasn’t just any blood, it was the kind that would make him so very powerful.
He had so many enemies, so many people wanted him dead, the odds were so very stacked against him. So long as he could get a taste of this beautiful flesh, just a few drops of this alluring elixir, he would...
