Sign-In System: Starting With Invincible Physique - Chapter 47: Shocking Change

Chapter 47: Chapter 47: Shocking Change

Chapter 47: Shocking Change

The man mustache turned abruptly to flee.

But before he could even take a single step, an aura vast like a mountain pressed against him.

Swoosh!

A dark figure blurred into his field of vision.

Rhain stopped perfectly still, less than ten paces away, looking at the man his emotionless eyes.

He wore the grey robes of the Ironpeak Sect.

To possess the ability to control a massive beast tide, combined with his Level 7 Essence Condensation cultivation, he was definitely a high-ranking elder.

One by one, Roderick, Noran, and the Azure Cloud elders also appeared right behind Rhain.

Roderick’s eyes instantly locked onto the bone-white flute in the man’s hand.

His face twisted with malicious fury.

"So it was you!" Roderick roared. "You nearly dragged all of us to our deaths!"

He raised his heavy, bloodstained broadsword to chop the Ironpeak elder into pieces.

But a hand suddenly raised in the air.

Roderick immediately skidded to a halt, forcibly swallowing his rage and stepping back without a single word of protest.

Rhain slowly lowered his hand. He walked step by step toward the Ironpeak elder.

"Have you seen a girl with white hair?"

The Level 7 Beast Tamer trembled.

"N-No! I haven’t seen any white-haired girl!" he stammered, as he frightenedly backed away. "Please! Don’t kill me!"

"I have treasures! I have three Nine Leaf Spirit Ginseng! I will give all of them to you! Just spare my life!"

The moment those words came, Roderick, Noran, and the Azure Cloud elders were perplexed.

Their eyes showed an uncontrollable greed and surprise.

Nine Leaf Spirit Ginseng!

A medicinal herb capable of helping a cultivator develop spirit power—a power exclusively restricted to the Spirit Manifestation Realm!

Even a lowly Essence Awakening cultivator could forge their spiritual senses with it.

But its true value lay with peak Essence Condensation experts. If they consumed it, their probability of breaking through to the Spirit Manifestation Realm became exactly 100%!

Although officially ranked as a Rare-Grade treasure, its sky rivaling effect made it absolutely as precious as an Epic-Grade artifact.

Rhain’s expression didn’t even ripple.

He completely ignored the man’s desperate pleading.

"How many people from the Azure Cloud Sect have you killed?" Rhain asked.

A flicker of panic and hesitation flashed across the Ironpeak elder’s eyes.

That single fraction of a second was enough.

Before the elder could even draw a breath to speak, a fist wrapped in compressed dark essence shot forward with lightning speed.

CRACK!

The Ironpeak elder’s chest caved in, the sternum and ribs crumbling within.

He was dead before his brain could even register the pain.

After killing the man, Rhain casually bent down and stripped the spatial storage ring from the corpse’s finger.

Roderick and Noran swallowed hard.

They desperately wanted to ask Rhain about the Nine Leaf Spirit Ginseng.

But before they could even open their mouths—

BOOM!!!

A shocking vibration rumbled beneath their feet, causing the entire hollow realm to shake like a boat in raging tide.

A dazzling pillar of purple light suddenly erupted into the sky!

It was so bright that it illuminated the whole Hollow Realm.

Even Rhain’s breathing stopped as he raised his head, his grey irises reflecting the dazzling purple pillar.

It was coming from the exact absolute center of the realm.

The exact same place where his purple Location Sign-In node was pulsing on the system map!

Maren, Hale, Bria, and the remaining disciples had finally caught up.

They all stopped dead in their tracks, staring up at the sky, utterly dumbfounded.

"What... what is that light?" Bria murmured, her voice trembling with awe and dread.

No one had an answer.

They had never read anything about a phenomenon like this occurring in the Hollow Realm’s history.

Rhain slowly lowered his head. He turned his gaze toward Maren and the Azure Cloud elders.

"There are six of our people currently trapped in the core area," Rhain stated, his mind not deviating due to the sudden change. "And there are two others currently moving alone on the outer edges."

He swept a gaze over the gathered group.

"I want a few of you to go and intercept those two. Bring them back and regroup."

The Azure Cloud Sect elders nodded their heads heavily in agreement.

There were no airs of superiority, nor did they mind in the slightest that an inner disciple was using a commanding tone with them.

In this world, age and seniority were nothing but meaningless jokes in the face of absolute power.

Rhain’s strength, his monstrous talent, his incomprehensible value to the sect—everything was completely beyond their reach.

Moreover, he had just plunged into a sea of maddened beasts and single-handedly pulled them from the jaws of death. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

To them, his authority was already unquestionable.

"We will bring them back safely," one of the Level 7 Azure Cloud elders assured, his tone carrying a deep, undeniable respect.

Rhain gave a slight nod.

Rhain turned his back to them, facing the blinding purple pillar shooting into the heavens.

"I will be going to the core area."

His eyes turned bone-chillingly cold.

"I want to find Seris within the next twenty-four hours. If I do not find her by then..."

A bloodcurdling killing intent erupted from him.

"...I will slaughter every single person from the Ironpeak Sect and the Barlowe family."

"Inside this Hollow Realm, and outside of it."

Roderick, Noran, and the other elders felt a bone-piercing chill run straight down their spines.

If any other Essence Awakening youth had dared to declare that they would slaughter two of the most powerful factions in the entirety of Greymist Town, they would have laughed out loud.

They would have treated it as the ignorant, ridiculous boasting of a madman.

But coming from Rhain’s mouth?

Roderick took a heavy step forward.

"I will go with you," Roderick said, his voice solemn.

His hawkish eyes locked onto the dazzling purple pillar piercing the grey sky.

"That light... it is unforeseen in the Hollow realm. In all our records of the Hollow Realm, nothing like this has ever occurred. Whatever is happening in the core area, it is absolutely dangerous."

Roderick gripped the hilt of bloodstained broadsword tightly.

"Furthermore, we have not encountered Fourth Elder Torin yet," Roderick analyzed, his expression turning incredibly grim. "It is extremely likely that he is among the group of six currently trapped in the absolute center."

His eyes narrowed slightly, "I have a hunch that they might be in some kind of danger. If not, Torin would have approached us already."

Noran and the other high-ranking Graves family members immediately stepped forward in unison.

"We will come as well," Noran stated with absolute resolve.

"You cannot walk into the core alone," another Level 7 elder added urgently. "That phenomenon will undoubtedly attract every single surviving member of the Ironpeak Sect and the Barlowe family. It will be an absolute bloodbath."

Rhain didn’t say anything.

His expression remained completely devoid of any fluctuation.

He didn’t care about their numbers.

To him, an army of ants or a single ant made absolutely no difference when they were all meant to be crushed.

Swoosh!

Rhain’s figure vanished, only leaving a few words behind.

"Only those who can keep up with me, follow."

Roderick and Noran didn’t hesitate for a single heartbeat.

"Move!" Roderick roared.

The top experts instantly circulated their essence to the absolute limits.

A group of exactly ten people, ranging from the fifth to the ninth level of the Essence Condensation Realm, shot forward in unison.

Leaving Bria, Hale, Victor and few low ranking elders behind to coordinate with the weaker members, the ten absolute elites turned into dazzling streaks of light.

Going straight to the deadliest zone of the Hollow Realm.
