Chapter 58: Chapter 58: Take It All, Break Through Together

Chapter 58: Take It All, Break Through Together

Outside the massive stone doors, the surviving members of the Azure Cloud Sect and the Graves family had been anxiously waiting.

"Rhain!"

A delicate figure immediately rushed forward.

Seris was the first to react.

She rushed forward, her silver-blue hair fluttering as she grabbed his sleeve, her pale purple eyes swept over him anxiously.

"I’m fine," Rhain said, gently patting her hand to reassure her.

Following right behind her, the rest of the group—Roderick, Noran, Maren, and the others—hurriedly surrounded him.

Among the crowd, a figure supported by two Azure Cloud elders slowly stepped forward.

It was Torin.

He had finally regained consciousness.

Torin gently pushed away the two Azure Cloud elders who were supporting his weight and took a shaky, unsteady step forward.

He looked at Rhain.

His gaze was incredibly complicated, filled with profound gratitude, and a deep sense of shame.

Without a second of hesitation, Torin bowed deeply at the waist.

"Fourth Elder?" Maren asked in surprise. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

"Rhain..." Torin looked down at the golden stone floor, "Before we entered this Hollow Realm, I promised Sect Master Harmon with my very life that I would keep you safe."

Torin raised his head, and let out a self-deprecating laugh.

"But in the end, I was completely useless. It was you who saved me, and all of us."

Rhain simply shook his head.

"I also made a promise to the Sect Master," Rhain said flatly. "I told him I would bring back as many of our people as I could. I was merely keeping my word."

To Rhain, it was that simple.

He didn’t care about playing the savior. He merely did what he had decided to do.

Torin slowly straightened his back, his eyes still burning with unspeakable gratitude.

Rhain’s dark grey irises swept over the gathered crowd, his gaze deliberately locking onto the spatial storage rings worn on their fingers.

"Right now, there is something more important."

Rhain turned his body slightly, gesturing toward the open stone doors of the grand hall behind him.

"I need all of you to come inside with me."

Torin, Roderick, and Maren exchanged confused glances.

"Uh... Rhain," Roderick pointed a trembling finger, "The puppet..."

Rhain turned his head.

Standing perfectly intact just inside the threshold, the mechanical wooden puppet had fully reassembled itself.

A flicker of surprise flashed in his eyes.

I just shattered this thing into pieces a while ago.

Without a single change in his expression, Rhain simply raised his hand and threw a casual, backhanded slap.

BANG!

A compressed blast of dark essence slammed into the puppet.

Surprisingly, the puppet didn’t even try to move, and broke into pieces once again.

Rhain lowered his hand, his expression completely unbothered, and turned back to the dumbfounded crowd.

"As I was saying," Rhain stated casually, "Come with me. We have work to do."

Roderick, Torin, and the others nodded their heads heavily.

It’s best to not use common sense with him.

With Seris staying closely by Rhain’s side, the group obediently stepped over the shattered wooden remains and crossed the threshold of the massive stone doors.

The moment they stepped inside, a wave of impossibly pure essence rushed to their side.

Everyone froze in their tracks.

In the center of the space lay a serene, shimmering lake filled entirely with liquid essence.

Surrounding the water was a sprawling, vibrant garden.

"Oh my lord..." Noran gasped. "Are those... Blue-Vein Orchids?"

Dozens of glowing spiritual herbs, both recognized and completely unknown to the elders of Greymist Town, swayed gently in the rich air.

"We can take care of them later," Rhain said, not breaking his stride. "Keep moving for now."

He led the dazed group past the shimmering lake and straight through the towering entrance of the grand hall.

The group followed, their gaze constantly looking at those priceless herbs, that they could hardly see in the outside world.

But when they stepped into the majestic hall and their eyes fell upon the interior, every single person felt their heart stopped beating for a while.

Lining the massive walls were endless rows of towering bookshelves and heavy weapon racks.

"Rare-Grade..." Maren gasped, her hands shaking as she picked up a random manual from the closest shelf. "This is a Rare-Grade martial art!"

The collective breathing of the Azure Cloud Sect and Graves family experts grew ragged.

Their minds were completely blown.

Rhain stopped in the center of the vast hall and turned around.

"Store it all," Rhain ordered calmly.

The entire group froze.

"W-what?" Torin stammered, thinking he had misheard.

Rhain confirmed without a single ripple in his expression. "Take every single manual, every weapon, and every herb outside in the garden. Empty this place completely. Fill your spatial rings to the absolute limit."

The elders exchanged dumbfounded glances.

This was the sacred treasury of an unimaginably powerful ancient expert!

And Rhain was telling them to just pack it up like they were looting a bandit camp?

What if they angered that unimaginable powerhouse?

"Do not waste time," Rhain didn’t give them time to think. "The Hollow Realm will close after one day."

He swept his dark grey irises over Torin and Roderick.

"While you strip this place bare, send a few people out to gather the rest of our surviving members. Bring them here. Use this final day to take as much from this Hollow Realm as possible."

Torin and Roderick nodded their heads.

"Understood!" Roderick’s blood boiled with excitement.

With these unimaginable resources, their families and sects wouldn’t just survive; they would completely dominate Greymist Town!

As the elders and disciples frantically scattered to begin their euphoric looting, Rhain let out a slow breath.

Over the past two days, he had fought constantly, and absorbed the rich, ancient essence of the Hollow Realm.

His realm barrier at the peak of the ninth level of the Essence Awakening Realm was already loosening.

The only reason he had not yet broken through was because his mind was entirely focused on finding Seris.

Now that she was safe, he had no reason to suppress it any longer.

"Seris," Rhain called out softly.

Seris, who had been standing quietly trying to store a few Uncommon Grade martial arts in her storage ring, looked up. "Yes, Rhain?"

"Come with me."

Without waiting for a response, Rhain turned and walked back out of the grand hall, heading straight toward the shimmering lake in the center of the garden.

Seris obediently followed right behind him.

When they reached the edge of the lake, the sheer density of the liquid essence wafting off the surface made Seris feel as if she were floating in the clouds.

Rhain stopped. He reached into his spatial ring and flipped his wrist.

Three glowing, purple-colored fruits materialized in his palm.

Purple Striae Soul Fruits.

He gently placed them into Seris’s delicate hands.

"Consume these safely," Rhain instructed in a serious tone. "One by one. Do not rush."

Seris looked at the priceless Rare-Grade treasures in her hands, her pale purple eyes widening.

Before she could even utter a word of thanks, Rhain did something completely unexpected.

Splash!

Rhain casually jumped directly into the shimmering lake.

The liquid essence rippled, as Rhain stood waist-deep in the pool.

He looked up at her, his dark grey eyes calm.

"Come in," Rhain said.

Seris’s flawless face instantly flushed a deep, rosy red.

"Rhain!" Seris gasped.

"I-In the water? With you?" she stammered, her fingers nervously clutching the purple fruits.

Rhain explained, completely ignoring her embarrassment. "This lake is formed of pure, liquefied essence. To break through from the Essence Awakening Realm to the Essence Condensation Realm, a cultivator must condense their essence into a liquid state."

Rhain spread his arms slightly, letting the thick, liquid energy soak into his dark robes.

"This pool is the absolute perfect environment for that. It is an extremely rare opportunity. Do not waste it."

Seris bit her pink lip.

She knew he was entirely right.

She desperately wanted to grow stronger, to ensure she would never be a helpless burden to him again.

Taking a deep, shaky breath, she closed her eyes.

Splash.

She shyly stepped into the lake.

The warm, thick liquid essence instantly soaked through her deep purple robes, clinging tightly to her delicate curves.

She waded through the shimmering pool, her face burning furiously, until she tried to maintain a distance from Rhain.

Rhain didn’t tease her.

His expression remained utterly focused.

He reached into his spatial ring once more.

The remaining five Purple Striae Soul Fruits appeared in his hand.

To any other cultivator, consuming even a single one of these fruits required hours of careful meditation and refinement.

Rhain didn’t even blink.

Crunch. Crunch.

He bit and finished them in a few casual bites without stopping, as if he were eating ordinary apples.

Seris watched him speechlessly.

Rhain simply closed his eyes and sat cross-legged, floating in the lake.

The moment the five fruits dissolved in his stomach, an incomprehensibly massive, raging ocean of pure essence exploded within him.

Refine.

The Abyssal Sovereign Physique was fully unleashed.

The dark void in his dantian awoke with a insatiable hunger.

BOOM!

A horrifying suction force violently erupted from Rhain’s body.

The serene lake instantly turned into a raging whirlpool.

The unimaginably pure liquid essence furiously surged toward Rhain, violently dragged into his pores like a massive river breaking a dam.

The sheer volume of energy he was devouring would have caused any normal cultivator to explode a thousand times over.

But Rhain’s bottomless void simply swallowed it all.

Seeing Rhain already entirely immersed in his cultivation, Seris quickly composed herself.

She looked at the three fruits in her hand, took a delicate bite of the first one, and swallowed it.

She closed her purple eyes and began to circulate her innate energy.

Instantly, a mesmerizing, transcendent silver-blue light seeped from her flawless skin.

Hu...

A piercingly cold essence began to release from her delicate body, slowly freezing the liquid essence immediately surrounding her.
