Chapter 1076: Chapter 1072: VERSAILLES – DIAMOND SHOWING OFF

"Hehe, whenever I think about that matter, I honestly don’t even believe myself. It is simply hilarious, and it’s a kind of meeting that when I share about it in the future, people will think that I am being Versailles," she boastfully said, her eyes sparkling with amusement and that only made Penny more eager to know more.

"Tell me, how did it happen?"

Seeing her so eager, how could Diamond not satisfy Penny?

So, she mustered all her story narrating talent and started from the start, at least from where it began, and her story went as follows, while cutting the unnecessary parts.

"When I was dating my ex earlier this year, around January, if I am not mistaken, or was it last year. Anyway, I just remember that I was still in love with someone else."

The moment she opened her story with that, Penny was floored. What kind of story was this?

But Diamond was just starting.

"So, I was on a plane, and I came across this wonderful lady. She was very friendly, quite talkative and I never had a boring moment during that flight," she smilingly narrated, recalling her first encounter with Aunt Grace.

It was a moment and an episode she would never forget.

Penny on the other hand couldn’t understand why dating this current boyfriend has anything to do with meeting a certain lady on the plane. What was she trying to tell her?

She didn’t dare interrupt though but continued to listen attentively.

"Talking with her was pretty much cool, and this lady developed an attraction towards me somehow, which wasn’t anything new. After all, I tend to attract a lot of affection from older ladies. I realized that sometime ago.

Anyway, after we reached our destination, this lady approached me in a friendly manner and told me openly and directly that she really liked me and was hoping that I could give it a try with her son."

"What?" Penny exclaimed loudly, but when she saw her daughter flinching, she covered her mouth with her hand, but the shock in her eyes was still visible as she looked at Diamond.

Something like that actually happens in real life? This was simply exciting.

Diamond smiled at Penny, and nodded her head as if to affirm what she had said before saying, "I was shocked as you. I thought to myself what this lady was trying to do. Was she just joking but I was proved wrong. She was dead serious and really wanted me to give it a try."

"Was there something wrong with her son?" Penny couldn’t help but ask that question, and Diamond chuckled heartily, finding her question similar to hers when she first heard it.

"I had no idea. However, I couldn’t just chase the lady away as that would be rude. So, I kindly told her the truth." 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

"You told her that you are seeing someone?"

"Yep, I did but the lady didn’t seem to mind. She was even that willing for me to date her son, even when I was seeing someone," she truthfully told Penny, though she hid the fact that she told Aunt Grace that she was seeing two men, twins, while it was the truth, it was also a way to deter the old lady from pushing her towards her son.

After all, which mother would want her own son to date a girl with other boyfriends. Such mothers were rare, but to her surprise, Aunt Grace proved her wrong in many ways.

Penny was stunned with that revelation.

"Damn, I am starting to suspect that her son has issues."

"Haha, I found her interesting and at the same time, I thought that her son was a character. I became curious about him as well."

"But weren’t you dating your ex then?"

"I was, but don’t worry, I didn’t do anything."

Penny sighed relievedly after hearing that. She might not be loved but she truly doesn’t like people who cheat. If there is no love, and you find it elsewhere, then release whoever you are with. Thankfully for her, Russ doesn’t have anyone, so her marriage, though loveless, it was still safe.

"Anyway, I gave the lady my number, but I didn’t think that she would actually give it to her son. After all, maybe what she did was something she did on an impulse and after she gets home, she would change her mind."

"That’s true."

"So, time just flew by, but in the period, I talked a lot with the lady. We became close like friends, and since that happened, I just didn’t think that anything could actually happen between me and her son. Anyway, I didn’t think much about it. After all, the mother was nice and even without the son, I could just live my life."

Penny nodded, getting engrossed more in the story.

"But then something happened. The relationship with my ex didn’t go especially well. There was some betrayal and I broke up with him. The break up took a toil on me. So, for a month I went on a vacation."

At this stage, Penny’s eyes were all light up, a drumroll sounding in her head as she thought to herself, ’we are about to get there. Did they meet on the plane?’

"While I was on that vacation, regrouping myself and making myself happy, I suddenly got his text."

"Oh~ wow, so sweet!" Penny cooed excitedly, twinkles in her eyes as she pictured how sweet that could have been.

How romantic.

"After knowing that it was that aunt’s son, we started talking and we even joked about his mother’s intentions and so forth."

"You were very forthright about it from the beginning?"

"Yep, but when we were talking, rather than a potential boyfriend, he was more of my good online buddy I could chat with. After all, I didn’t have any hope regarding that matter to be honest. And since I was nursing my wounds; I wasn’t thinking about getting into a new relationship that quickly."

Besides, she was busy trying to build a foundation with Nolan and Wyatt, whom she found very attractive.

Why would she bother with Gael when there was fish close to her that she could fish?
