Outskirts of the Immortal World

Normally, no one would care about this edge and remote place within the Immortal World. As the edge of the world is where the weakest within this state can live. It’s just tonight big shots of the whole Immortal World had come to this place. One is a great general, the second one is an emperor and the last one is the reincarnated goddess. What made it interesting is the interaction and relationship between these three people.

The normally ignored Moon Empress is now ignoring the men beside her. Though she doesn’t treat them as air, they weren’t entertained as before. There is also this fact that the current Moon Goddess isn’t like before. She is no longer timid and can fight back in a way one would never expect. She had also become ruthless towards enemies and she is unreadable due to her aloof demeanor and expressionless face. Since they couldn’t read her, they are incapable of predicting her thoughts.

Now they had witnessed her kicking the Immortal Star Emperor silly. Who told him to try and harm her people. This kick was enough to wake the bastard awake. After all, the woman he knew as Yue Xuehua and the current Moon Goddess, Yue Xuexia, might have the same origin but they are two different people.

At this moment, the Immortal Star Emperor, Xing Xieju was still a bit bewildered and was now alternating his gaze from the dangerous lightning above his head and the expressionless Moon Empress in his line of sight.

"Xue’er... How about... letting me explain," said the Immortal Star Emperor, Xing Xieju.

The Moon Goddess remained expressionless and said, "If I didn’t arrive on time my subordinates would have been killed by you. I do not listen to excuses, Your Majesty the Star Emperor. Descend."

The nine tribulation lightning in the shape of the phoenixes started flying down targeting the Immortal Star Emperor. Everyone watched as those terrible tribulation lightning chased after Xing Xieju. Seeing this the Immortal Star Emperor forgot to keep his image seeing that these lightning phoenix targets him like they are homing missiles. He can only run away in fear of his life. He should be thankful that Yue Xuexia had no intention of taking his life and this is nothing more but a punishment. "Ow~. Xue’er, I’ll see you again next time!" said the Immortal Star Emperor.

The Moon Goddess retorted, "Scram!"

Among the nine tribulation lightning phoenix, only two had hit him and it was enough only for him to suffer being electrified but no serious wounds on him, only superficial ones. He had embarrassed himself though and could only run away. However, even if the Immortal Star Emperor runs, it is too late. A lot of people had already witnessed him being punished by the Moon Goddess and it immediately spread in the whole Immortal World after this day.

On his way back to his empire, the Immortal Star Emperor was suddenly picked up by a carriage that came out of nowhere with only a driver and one servant inside to open the door of the carriage.

"Your Majesty, is it alright to let them go like this?" The servant asked.

The Immortal Star Emperor looks coldly at him, making the servant nervous.

"I apologize for my rudeness, your majesty!" The man kneeled before the Immortal Star Emperor.

Xing Xieju just ate a pill to fully heal himself, "I am to blame for tonight. Never would I expect that Xue’er would immediately raise her hand to fight just because I touch her people. It seems she is truly different in this life. Moreover, that is truly the Tribulation Lightning. If she can control something like... then this world is more partial towards her which is opposite that we had expected."

"Your Majesty, should we shut people up?" The servant asked.

The Immortal Star Emperor said, "No need. The fact that she didn’t hurt me seriously meant she didn’t mind me as much. It would be better if I can make her like me instead."

Then he recalled what he heard from that successor of the Immortal Sun Emperor and his face immediately turned serious.

"Shadow, there is something I need you to investigate."

"I am at your service, your majesty!"

"Find if the current Moon goddess does not have her heart," Xing Xieju said. "This is something that must never spread and when you find the answer come and report to me face to face. Do you understand?"

"Yes. As the Star of the Empire desires!"

"Right. Send some gifts to the Hidden Tang Sect. Some nice ones," the Immortal Star Emperor said.

"But why, your majesty. They are just a small sect."

"Didn’t I offend Xue’er because of them. The successor of that bastard, he seems to be the father of her aide. I grabbed his neck. Do you think she will not get angry if she learns about it? Me getting hit by tribulation lightning, I will not die, but I can’t say about others."

"I will prepare everything, your majesty!"

Meanwhile after the Immortal Emperor left, Yue Xuexia appeared beside Taiyang and healed his wounds. Under the golden silver light all the wounds of the Great General had instantly healed including his internal injuries.

Taiyang asked, "Xue’er, why have you appeared?"

"Too noisy. I cannot sleep," answered Yue Xuexia honestly.

The Great General was dumbfounded at first then suddenly laughed. He noticed that Yue Xuexia is using a soul clone instead of her real body.

"It’s dangerous to always fight with your soul alone. Why didn’t you come out with your body?" Taiyang asked worriedly.

The Moon Goddess responded, "My soul has restrictions and I have a bit of an injury. It is easier to fight with just my soul alone. Don’t worry, I will be careful."

It was after saying this that she went to find everyone at the Hidden Tang Sect. As soon as she appeared before the sect, everyone in it saluted her.

"We greet the Moon Goddess!"

"Be at ease. I only come over to say a few words. Since I appeared tonight people of this world knew your connection to me. So be careful. Also I will not come over to the sect. If you want to see me, find me in Azalea Town," said Yue Xuexia.

Once the Goddess of the Moon had left, Taiyang, the Great General of the Immortal Sun Emperor appeared before the Hidden Tang Sect. The people of the sect immediately greeted him.

"I am sorry about this. We had almost dragged you in the conflict of two empires. As compensation, please receive this. We are leaving now," said the Great General.

Before these troops left, they had left a few treasures to the Hidden Tang Sect. Most of them are related to poison and medicine. After all, this sect is well known for using hidden weapons and poison as weapons. As well as excelling in some medicine cannot be ignored at all. The compensation from the Great General left the whole Hidden Tang Sect dumbfounded. This is the first time they had received this much treasure.

"Xiao Bing, I cannot accept this!" Tang Yuan said as he returned the Thousand Umbrella to his niece.
