Chapter 54: The Aftermath of Night

Luka knelt between Luvia’s thighs, his length slipping free with an obscene sound as his vitality leaked from her gaping entrance. Luvia barely reacted, trembling faintly with half-closed eyes, rolled into the back of her skull.

He lifted his gaze from her with a comfortable sight.

Faint beams of light broke through the dark trees, signalling his lack of time.

"Reina."

When he called, the large wolf shuffled from deep within the bushes atop the crater.

Luka didn’t know when she left, but let it go.

He slowly covered his body with a thick layer of Miasma, which cost almost half of his entire reserves a few hours ago. After his sudden explosive growth, that amount barely came to a third of his total energy.

’Sweet, this is what I needed.’

Oblivion’s Wrath Mode would drain his entire pool, increasing the duration and power proportionate to his level and the amount of Miasma devoured.

This growth gave him a trump card in a dangerous situation, which would help him greatly, especially when dealing with the goblin shaman.

"Can you help me take her back to the entrance?"

"Wuuu..." Reina flicked her head to the side, sniffing the air, and lifting the corners of her lips, revealing her fangs.

’It seems like she’s expressing disgust...’

"Can’t you do it... for me?"

The wolf tilted her head and glanced into Luka’s eyes. Despite being huge, her body lowered, and her resistant atmosphere faded. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

"Wuff!"

But she gave one last bark of resistance, glaring at him.

"Okay, I’ll take her to the river since it’s been sucked clean of Miasma. The water should be purer than a nun’s heart right now."

He’d know, since it was he who absorbed everything from the filthy water.

Luka stood above the nude elf, covered by the rather elegant robe he stole from the undead necromancer. He swallowed down the sudden rush of desire; just looking at her naked body was enough to awaken the raging hormones inside his body.

’Stop.’

He held out his palm, the dark magenta of his Miasma now slightly pinker, with faint red specks floating in the centre.

The power of Lust now greatly surpassed his Pride and the barely formed Wrath.

’I’ll have to find out how to boost the others...’

Though his mind remained strong, the newly awakened sensations and hunger in his half-fallen body struggled to resist the temptations.

He’d likely need to visit Luvia’s tent each night until adjusting properly.

"Forget it, let’s just get clean."

His arms slipped under her smooth back, easily lifting her into his arms.

"I thought she’d be a little heavier with all the muscle and those things..." His eyes lowered to the plump mounds slumping to either side of her chest as he carried her to the riverbank, ignoring the surrounding noises.

A flash of light illuminated the sky before a thunderclap.

"It seems she’s a truly powerful Templar, that doesn’t make sense, would Michael really allow someone of her calibre to escape so easily?"

Although a bit of a sexist and elitist when it came to races, Michael also believed that talent trumped everything when it came down to it.

So Brea’s existence was confusing for Luka.

While he slipped into the cold, gentle blue stream, he slid Luvia’s body to the bank and let her lower body sink into the water.

Like this, he cleaned their bodies of most traces.

The bite and kiss marks faded.

But her swollen pink buds and lower lips remained.

However, it was good enough for them to return to the outpost.

...

Not long after he finished cleaning Luvia and mounted Reina, the trio came to the small clearing where the group had split up several hours before.

At this point, the experience gains from Brea and Vaun hunting goblins dwindled, and a huge chunk remained until Luka reached the next level.

"Ooooh!" A shout came from the bushes.

"W...What.... Ngh... it hurts...."

The noisy woman woke Luvia, who began stirring from her slumber as she rolled inside Reina’s, hiding her current state from the Half-Elf and Templar.

"What’s wrong with her?" Brea glanced at the wincing dark elf before turning back to Luka with a beaming expression. The previous hatred and clear dislike aimed at him felt significantly weaker.

But Luka noticed her arm wrapped around Vaun in her female form.

"She just injured herself while hunting, it’s nothing." He lied through his teeth with a handsome smile before scanning Vaun’s body up and down.

"What about you two, are you both alright?"

"Y-Yes, Master."

"Master?"

"Ah... forgive me, Sire."

Luka shook his head; it wasn’t like he cared how people referred to him, knowing it was something born from her respect, he waved his hand.

"Call me Master if you wish, do you still want me to call you Vaun?"

The High-Elf believed in the notion of a true name, but only those with permission could call it. Though some believed it granted you a hold over the elf in question. Luka already understood this was just a superstitious lie.

In reality, the High-Elves kept that name only for their spouse or close family.

Vaun paused, her eyes darting between Luka’s face and the distance, before she nodded and cleared her throat. "If you would call me Vaun for now..."

"No problem, Vaun."

Luka then tapped Reina’s neck and glanced at the two women.

"We need to rush back, if we’re to get any rest before tonight’s raid on the village. Thanks for coming with me. I am sure you’ve noticed something by now." He paused for a moment, alternating his gaze between the blushing elf and fierce Templar.

"Give me some time, and I’ll tell you more."

"Ah, that’s fine, I’m just grateful for the extra power."

"Mhm, thank you, Master!"

Luka nodded, too tired to adjust himself for their reactions and the fact that Vaun didn’t keep hidden; instead, he glanced to the east, ready for a harsh twenty-four hours.

"Tsk, you’re too much of a coward, V!" Brea squeezed the little elf closer to her, while grumbling in her long, floppy ear, teasing her as Luka sat atop Reina without taking a deeper notice of the elf.

"D-Don’t!" Vaun escaped the ogre’s grip using her delicate hip movements before leaping onto her wolf and pointing back at Brea. "Be careful, or else I’ll tell him what you said too!"

"Ack!?"

Brea shook her head and jumped on the last wolf, muttering to herself.

"If you can be so fierce with me, why not take my advice... stupid woman, don’t cry when it’s another woman in his bed before you."

...

The group whisked through the early dawn fields, rushing to the outpost without stopping. Luka gently gripped Luvia’s hand as she struggled to move due to muscle cramps and the slight injury he inflicted on her from being too reckless in his excitement.

As the outpost walls appeared on the horizon, Reina’s speed doubled, her tongue hanging loose as she panted heavily.

Pat~

Luka slapped Reina’s shoulder, caressing the muscular beast.

"Easy girl, don’t overwork yourself. I’ll have them prepare the best fried meats to eat while I rest, so please take care of yourself."

For a moment, Reina’s speed slowed, but then she rushed at the wall, lowered her back legs and jumped. Her body flew through the air, then slammed her front paws against the wall, flinging her into the yard with a smooth motion.

"Wooohoo!"

Sat on her back, Luka’s air wafted widely lin the wind, lost in the nostalgic feeling of flying through the air as an angel.

Then they hit the ground.

Thud!

"Ugh....!?"

Luvia’s eyes snapped open wide as she bounced on the wolf’s back, while Luka held tight to his hips, floating slightly before slamming down.

As the wolf slid across the dirt, a woman stood in full plate armour, her arms crossed and blonde hair messily dangling over her right pauldron.

"Galatea?"

However, she didn’t smile or greet him.

Her eyes trembled as if about to cry before rushing towards him and jumping atop Reina, wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him tightly. He wanted to break free because he was too reactive to women right now.

But Galatea’s red eyes and the traces of dried tears stopped him.

He wrapped an arm around her back and pressed his forehead against her, causing her little mouth to open wide. "I’m home, Galatea."

Seemingly pleased, she pulled away while still maintaining their gaze before she finally smiled and relaxed her shoulders.

"Geez, Luka... are you happy to make me this worried?!"

Alas, in his haste to please one.

Luka forgot another.

Beneath them, Luvia’s golden orbs watched them in silence while chewing on her bottom lip.
