Looking at the large number of charred gremlins, dead or dying on the ground, Lohan felt extremely satisfied.

Not only was he satisfied with the large sum of money they would receive for this, but he was also pleased with the combat power they had managed to demonstrate together.

After the evolution, it became clear to Lohan just how great the difference was between the rarities of the bases.

Lisa was an obvious example of this; even at Level 11, her combat power was already superior to that of a Level 13 Gremlin.

And together, they could wipe out several dozen gremlins by attacking as a group.

"How did the biomass injection feel on you just now? I think it’s been quite a while since I tried using that on you, right?" Lohan asked curiously, while controlling 15 clones to spread across the battlefield and digest everything useful, all the while perfectly separating the eyes from the rest of the body and storing them in the Astral Chest.

Looking at the large number of eyes in the Astral Chest, Lohan was grateful to have obtained this chest, since the sight of a Slime with nearly 100 eyes inside it entering Thalendor would be terrible for his image.

Lisa lay down next to Lohan’s main body, watching the group of slimes rolling around in an orderly fashion with amusement, then replied. "The sensation was really good... honestly, I felt like I had infinite Energy and Mana! What was the cost to you for using that?"

Lohan opened his status screen and analyzed his biomass, which had dropped from the 8 points he previously had, accumulated during past battles and his training, but was now at 5 points despite him having digested corpses during the battle; a slight sense of loss arose.

"Well, I lost a total of 3 biomass from what I already had, plus another 3 biomass that I consumed during the battle, which would amount to around 6,000 biomass before my evolution," Lohan explained, analyzing this expenditure and thinking more carefully about how to use it in a more optimized way. "I probably wasted a lot of Biomass having to replenish your reserves when they were nearly empty, and repairing your accumulated injuries, which were caused by the fatigue that was already present. If I had been injecting Biomass into you from the start of the battle, maybe that cost would have dropped from 6 Bio in total to at least 5 Bio."

Lisa nodded, believing him, but not really understanding it all that well. Lohan’s approach to handling Biomass was completely different from anything she had ever heard of.

While for Lohan this was very similar to a game like Cookie Clicker where he just had to calculate the efficiency of gain and use, knowing where to invest to bring the greatest return in the shortest time possible, it was difficult for Lisa to see it that way just by listening to his explanation.

"And are you feeling any permanent physical changes?" he asked with interest, thinking that since it would eventually increase Pip’s power, it would be good to know about it now rather than using the little fairy as a guinea pig.

Lisa closed her eyes and felt her own body, until her eyes widened in surprise.

Without saying a word, Lisa got up from the floor, and with small hops, running around, and firing off a few bursts of spiritual fire, she finally confirmed something surprising.

"Halon, even though it’s not a huge change, I feel like my muscles and my Spiritual Energy core have developed by 1% to 2%!" she said, shocked.

Unlike Lohan, who received constant upgrades whenever he purchased an evolution, Lisa’s growth was like that of other Players, completely linear and dependent on leveling up. So receiving an upgrade like this, even if only 1%, was incredible to her!

The first time Halon had injected biomass into her, the growth had been very small, to the point of being almost imperceptible.

But now, perhaps because of the density of his biomass, perhaps because of its quality, perhaps because of the amount he could inject without harming himself, or perhaps even the sum of all these factors, made this growth even more pronounced.Lohan heard that and was also shocked. ’With just 6 Biomass I managed to increase her power by 1%?!

So with 600 Biomass I could double Lisa’s power?! No... there’s probably a limit to that, but still, if I could increase her power by 50%, that would already be a tremendous improvement considering she has the strength of a Legendary Monster!!’

Thinking about this possibility, and remembering that this skill came from Brynn, the Dungeon Boss they had defeated, who had created an army of Level 10 monsters and Level 10 Elites, Lohan imagined himself doing the same with the players of Astralis Requiem!

As long as ordinary Players joined the Guild, he would be able to enhance those Players to the point where they became "Elite Versions" of their former selves, practically as if he were increasing their Base rarity by one level!

Thinking of this possibility, Lohan accelerated the digestion of the surrounding monster corpses even further; he also didn’t forget to completely digest the players’ bodies and their equipment, even though he didn’t get anything special from the other players, and climbed onto Lisa’s back.

"Lisa, let’s sell these eyes in Thalendor; I have some tests I want to run at our Base," Lohan said in a serious voice, seeing a great opportunity for the Guild.

Lisa noticed his serious tone, and considering that they had already accomplished today’s objective, both in terms of money, the experience gained, and the combat training, she didn’t mind and ran back to the city with him, curious to see what idea was in that gelatinous head of his.

On the way to the city, Lohan stayed on Lisa’s back making calculations nonstop,

while occasionally injecting different energies into the fox’s body, ranging from ordinary Biomass, Mana, and Holy Light, and, based on her explanations, he determined the correct proportions, trying to minimize waste and find an ideal ratio of different energies to further stimulate the body of whoever would receive that power from him!
