Chen Ming agreed, observing the colony from a distance aboard the spaceship.

He didn’t get too close, as being too near could affect the subsequent verification.

Though Lou Wei and his team had already reached a dead end, who knows if they might try to mess with him one last time.

This time, without Hong Guanghong’s assistance in planning, he had to handle everything himself.

Chen Ming returned to the Light Industry Colony on the habitable planet.

There was a place for large ships to dock.

He Gu, who had said he would come, also showed up on time.

He greeted Chen Ming with a bit of warmth, then followed Chen Ming and a few others, including Lou Wei, onto a medium-sized Shuttle Boat, heading toward the airspace of the colony.

Chen Ming shook his head and continued looking out the window.

After some time, the Shuttle Boat circled around the colony from above.

This colony, like in the simulation, was a medium to large-scale colony that would only expand further upon development.

Arriving three days ahead of schedule gave Chen Ming complete confidence to control and expand the entire colony.

The Shuttle Boat quickly circled back to the starting point.

Before landing again, Major General Song suddenly asked Chen Ming, "Instructor Chen, where do you plan to start?"

Chen Ming pointed to the distance, at the center of the colony, the edge of the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower’s base.

That was the colony’s storage area.

"To the warehouse. With the materials in the warehouse, I can proceed with the subsequent tasks."

"Okay."

Major General Song immediately spoke a word to the driver in the Shuttle Boat’s cockpit, which could have been optimized away.

The driver soon smoothly landed the Shuttle Boat on an open space near the warehouse.

The warehouses showed some signs of minor renovations, and there were fresh tire tracks around.

It seemed they had reinforced it during material transportation to prevent the warehouse from collapsing when Chen Ming arrived.

There was no one nearby, as they had been preemptively moved away.

"Let’s start now,"

Chen Ming told the others on the Shuttle Boat, then jumped off alone and walked quickly to the warehouse, placing his hand on it.

The warehouse itself had a mechanized structure, and although this mechanized structure had rusted and become unusable, it didn’t prevent Chen Ming from controlling it.

However, after Chen Ming had finished controlling the several warehouses arranged by Lou Wei and his team,

his expression suddenly changed, though he quickly controlled it and returned to the Shuttle Boat, asking Major General Song, "Are those all the warehouses?"

"Yes, just those."

"Alright."

Chen Ming nodded, giving Bai Quan a knowing look beside him.

Then he left the Shuttle Boat again, and a Nanofiber Suit quickly enveloped his body, assisting him in swiftly moving between the colony’s buildings to take control of the entire colony.

Initially, Chen Ming wanted to drive a small vehicle for ease, but he realized there were narrow areas in the colony that weren’t very accessible.

So he decided to handle it personally, also taking the opportunity to observe more about the colony’s situation.

And as He Gu watched this scene unfold, intense interest appeared in his eyes.

He immediately shifted his position to sit next to Bai Quan and struck up a conversation.

When Chen Ming had circled around the entire colony and returned,

about an hour had passed.

Chen Ming stood at the open door of the Shuttle Boat, not in a hurry to jump back on.

"Before officially starting, there’s something I need to say."

"The materials in the warehouse are insufficient, about a quarter short of what we agreed upon. Did someone miscalculate?"

"What?!"

Major General Song hurriedly stood up and rushed off the Shuttle Boat.

"There’s no need to count again. How long would it take you to re-inventory everything?"

"I have evidence right here."

Chen Ming spread out his hand, and a Data Chip gradually materialized in his palm.
