Desther looked at the mission and could not help but think that the reward was actually quite generous this time around.

Not only that, there was no time limit, and the penalty was also labeled as none.

He was already used to different kinds of penalties, so Desther felt like the title had glitched for giving him such a mission.

However, considering its history of giving him the mission, there should be a twist somewhere along the given assignment.

’Could that monster be hard to kill?’

From its details, Desther confirmed that it was indeed the same monster he encountered before.

If it was before, Desther might feel threatened and would hesitate about trying to complete this mission.

However, since he got his Class, Desther felt that unless it was a Tier 4 Monster, he would surely not encounter any danger.

Desther knew for a fact that it was not a Tier 4 Monster, though. If it was, let alone him, even Lexie would have already died the moment she encountered that monster earlier.

The two times Desther encountered that monster, it would have already attacked him and Noah without hesitation.

The fact that it only lingered for a bit around them meant that it had its reservation.

Whatever it was, Desther did not know.

What he did know, though, was the fact that this mission must be completed, no matter what.

The rewards were very tempting.

The direct level up, 500 Free Attributes was already enough to make him think over it. But the Storage Ring with 64 cubic meters of space inside was what sealed the deal for him.

This amount of space inside a space item could only be found in high-level items. Each one of them costs an absurd amount of money that Desther did not even want to find out about.

If it were a perfect cube, that would mean its dimensions would be a four by four by four. With such a space, Desther could definitely store a lot of items.

He closed the mission tab and planned to ask Lexie some information regarding that monster.

He needs to search for it first before he could even try to eliminate it.

Aside from the fact that Lexie had fought it before, he had no other leads toward it at all.

Anyway, Desther still did not try to get the loot from the Ravenous Lizard since he thought that it would only be a waste of time.

He planned to collect all of them and dump them along with the other corpses so that they could attract even more Ravenous Lizars to come here.

He had actually thought that he would already be able to reach 100 Skill Fragments, but it seemed like he was pretty optimistic about it.

Anyway, if the same amount of Ravenous Lizards showed up in the next harvest, it would already be a guarantee that he would be able to reach the hundred mark.

Looking around, Desther noticed that Noah was still lying on the ground dozens of meters away from them.

He frowned as he called out Noah.

"Get up and take pictures of dead Ravenous Lizards."

The moment he said that, Noah immediately made an athletic backstand as he took a picture of the killed Ravenous Lizards one by one, acting as if nothing had happened.

Deep inside, though, he felt awkward just for being there.

The reunion of the lovers—how could he ruin it?

This was the reason why he did not get up right away. He was just afraid of ruining their moment.

It was only when Desther called him did he decide to get up.

Still, he tried his best to not be in the couple’s way, purposely keeping a distance from the two of them. He was just afraid of hearing something he shouldn’t hear. It would surely become another secret he would take to his grave, and to be honest, he thought that he already had a lot of it already.

Lexie and Desther noticed his deliberate actions, and they could not help but think that he might have gone crazy or something.

Anyway, Noah and Desther took a picture of a total of 132 Ravenous Lizards corpses.

They also included the monsters killed by Lexie, as she insisted that it was theirs to begin with and she was only trying to help.

Desther did not insist and immediately divided the points to him, Noah, and Victor.

Their points in the rankings had increased, but it was not as exaggerated since the points were divided into three parts.

The rankings did not shift, and when Lexie took a look at it, she must have realized what was going on but did not say or ask anything about it.

After they were done cleaning the battlefield, the three of them made their way back to the main base.

Desther and Lexie were walking in front while Noah, trying to be as considerate as possible, decided to lag a few meters behind the two of them.

The sky had already darkened by the time they reached the main base.

A guard once again approached them and asked for their Professional badge before they were allowed to go in and roam further.

The moment they entered, the three of them decided to part ways.

Each of them has their own agenda for being here. So they parted ways to do their own things.

However, along the way, Lexie and Desther had already talked in regards to that monster.

By tomorrow, she would accompany him and revisit that site where she encountered the monster.

Desther and Noah went to the same location and exchanged their spoils for some points and then converted some of them into supplies.
