SSS Awakening: I Can Steal Attributes
Chapter 95: Space Bag, The Valley
After claiming the item, the two of them hurried back to the tree house they built.
It was already late at night when they returned, and just like earlier, they did not encounter any monsters as well.
Desther thought that it must be because the monsters closer to the base were more or less hunted by the other students.
The incident earlier still made him confused, though. He wondered what that was all about. They did not encounter the same situation going back. He did not know if that was an isolated case or not.
Anyway, Noah had already given the Space Bag to Desther. He did not ask any unnecessary questions and just handed the Space Bag directly to him.
Receiving the Space Bag, Desther immediately decided to take a look.
All this while, his knowledge regarding Space Bags came only from the internet. Seeing one in person definitely provided a different set of awe compared to the ones he had seen online.
Desther slowly unfurled the string from the bag. Opening the gap, he took a peek inside of it out of curiosity.
The bag was only fist-size, yet, strangely enough, the space inside was truly as big as the description says.
It was quite magical and novel to look at, to say the least.
The shape of the space inside was not uniform. It kept on changing as the Space Bag in his hand was moved. As if the huge space inside were a mirror of what the shape of the bag was from the outside, but of a bigger scale.
Desther thoroughly checked the space bag and thought that fragile items should not be put inside due to the ever-changing shape of the space inside of it.
Weapons and armors could be put inside, but it would be a hassle taking them in and out every time. The Space Bag would be best put to use by storing their loot.
With the Space Bag, carrying things would be much easier.
When morning came, the two immediately set out to hunt.
The competition for the rankings grew intense as time passed by. From the looks of it, there were some students that refused to sleep just so they could increase their ranking even for a bit.
Their hunting speed also only increased as their level and familiarity with the monsters increased.
In fact, the students were no longer as helpless when facing the monsters.
The training the school gave them was not for naught.
As of this moment, Noah had already fallen out of the top 10. The gap was not huge, though. A few kills and he would enter the top 10 once again.
The two of them went to the dumping site. Like yesterday, there are now Ravenous Lizards roaming about the area as well. Although there were now corpses of Ravenous Lizards as well, they did not seem to mind it, and some were even feasting on the corpses of their own kind.
They decided not to kill them yet, waiting to harvest them around dusk like yesterday.
The monsters around this area seemed to have already thinned out.
Thirty minutes of searching and the two of them did not find a single one.
"We need to change location."
This was something they needed to do sooner or later. Desther just did not expect that it would come sooner than expected.
Noah nodded his head in agreement. He also felt that their hunting speed had decreased due to the lack of monsters around them.
Since the others were still constantly getting points, they assumed that they must have gone further away from the main base.
Desther checked the map online and decided where they should go next.
"This valley here is a good starting point."
This was also the only valley around the Veldora Woods and the western wilderness. Since it was a valley, a lot of monsters were expected to be there.
From what he knew online, there should be strong monsters located in the deeper part of the valley as well.
"However, if we go there, we can expect a lot of competition. Since we think of this, the others would have surely thought of this already as well."
In fact, it was quite possible that they were already there to begin with.
Noah nodded his head in agreement.
"Well, if that’s what you want, then I’ll be there too, boss!"
"Let’s not waste time here then."
The valley was actually not that far from their current location.
According to the map, the edge of the valley was just around 5 kilometers away.
With their speed, it only took them thirty minutes to arrive at the edge.
Along the way, they encountered five more Demon Bunnies, but that was it.
The Demon Bunnies in the area had obviously dwindled compared to the first few days that they were here.
Whether they have migrated due to recent activities or they have truly been hunted to the brink of extinction in this area.
Anyway, the five Demon Bunnies did not give them extra experience points, but they harvested their middle claws and stored them inside the Space Bag.
From those five Demon Bunnies, Desther also received 4 Skill Fragments. It was not a lot, but a few was still better than nothing.
In the valley, the two decided to take a moment of rest before continuing with their exploration.
Desther was not tired, but Noah was. He just could keep up with Desther. Such a short distance and such a slow pace could not even make him pant. His attributes were now insanely high.
Some time later, the two proceeded according to their plan.
As expected, they finally encountered more Demon Bunnies and hunted them down one after the other.
Aside from that, various monsters were also slain by them.
Desther’s Free Attributes slowly skyrocketed once more.
The thing about the valley was that there were a variety of monsters around. Not only Demon Bunny, they also fought and killed a Rock Toad, Turtle Beetle, and many more.
By the time dusk arrived, the two of them had already accumulated more than fifty kills in total.
Thirty-two of which were from Demon Bunnies, allowing him to gain 16.5 more Skill Fragments.
It must be noted that some of the monsters in the valley were actually quite high of a level. Most of what they faced was around levels 6 to 8.
Noah was definitely trying his hardest while facing those creatures. Of course, since Desther was present, there was no way that Noah would come in harm’s way.
Since most of their skills were high level, the total Free Attributes he obtained amounted to 126 Free Attributes.
Now, the two of them called it a day and prepared to go back to the tree house.
At the same time, Desther finally decided to check what the deal was with reaching level 10.
He opened his Profile Page, and immediately saw the changes brought upon reaching level 10.

Seeing that, even Desther could not help but marvel at the changes in his Profile Status.
His insanely high attributes, not befitting of his own level, were the most obvious.
If others were to see this, they would surely not believe their eyes due to how extravagant and ridiculous it was.
In comparison, a perfect Awakened Professional, with the maximum of 10 initial attributes would only have as high as 22 points if they allocated their Free Attributes equally to all the basic attributes upon reaching level 10.
And if the same Awakened Professional with 10 initial attributes for Strength, decides to fully focus on increasing one attribute, they will only have as high as 60 Strength by the time they reach level 10.
Compared to Desther’s 285 attributes for all of his attributes, the difference was truly staggering and astronomical.
Of course, the highest they could reach would not just be 60 due to the existence of talents, but with a generous estimation, reaching a 100 would already be stretching it too far.
An attribute breaking through the one hundred mark usually just happens around level 15 or higher.
With 285 points for all of his attributes, though, Desther’s estimate of him being comparable to a late Tier 1, and even early Tier 2 Awakened Professional was not unfounded.
Anyway, Desther’s gaze moved toward the other changes in the Profile Status, or more precisely, the one that allows him to choose a class.
Without wasting any more time, Desther ’clicked’ and was immediately greeted with a new screen in front of him.
