SSS Awakening: Starting With Infinite Soul Copy
Chapter 144: Meeting Gone Wrong (II)
The roar of the second Commander reached White as the man flashed forward, only to halt in the air when a massive wing ripped through his chest, leaving him hanging there as blood splashed down.
Stepping forward, White made his way to the woman who had barely been able to keep her consciousness.
"You! YOU DARE TO ATTACK A SUPREME COMMANDER! YOU WILL DIE A FATE WORSE—ACK!"
White’s hand reached out, grabbing her throat and applying strength.
The woman was barely in the early Cosmic Rank stage.
Compared to White, she was an ant, and even half of his power into her neck was enough to knock every bit of air out of her system.
She remained there dangling on his arm as life was squeezed out of her.
Just when she was a bit more than seconds from truly dying, White released his hand, watching her collapse on her back, blood spraying from her lungs as her legs spasmed uncontrollably.
"Just in case you’re wondering what mercy looks like... well, now you know."
He said, stepping away from her body before continuing forward.
He grabbed the wing of a destroyed jet and pulled it aside, saving the lives of three Humanity Ascension soldiers who were just about to be crushed beneath it.
White looked around, ensuring there were no death casualties, before he turned back to one of the jets, yanking out a tiny button-like device.
"Humanity Ascension..."
"The so-called topmost organization in the war against the Supernaturals."
"This is your best move. The move of one of your Supreme Commanders."
White said, taking a good record of the destruction around them, without forgetting to include the so-called Supreme Commander spasming uncontrollably on the ground.
"To give so much power to such a retarded human is a shame to Humanity itself."
"Today I am kind enough to let you all off with a little slap to the back of your hands."
"But if this stupidity ever happens again, mark my words..."
"I will come directly to the central base of Humanity Ascension and bring hell down upon your organization."
"All you have done today is endanger Humanity, for if I am indeed against you, nothing—and absolutely nothing—stops me from dropping a black hole above the nearest Mega City close to me and leaving it in ashes."
"I hope not all of your upper hierarchy are retards, and my message reaches someone with a brain."
CRUSH!
The camera was crushed to pieces, and White turned behind, looking at the destruction.
Commander Zoltan had recovered, managing to rise to his feet, though blood wouldn’t stop spilling from his mouth.
"How disappointing..."
Were White’s last words before he rose into the air with a single flap, becoming a black beam of light that disappeared into the distance.
---
"That is indeed a shame to Humanity."
In a large dimly lit room, sat a total of twelve humans, both men and women, around a long table.
Among the seats, there was one that was clearly vacant, and all knew who it belonged to.
"Can someone explain to me who gave such a retarded woman a seat in here in the first place?"
A blue-haired bespectacled man asked, and another woman answered.
"Aligning with the Ixxon Family is a major move that gives us enough resources to build next-generation advanced destruction gadgets for Humanity Ascension."
"One of their requirements was to have one of their own seated at the table, so the alliance decided to give it to her."
"She was deemed not intelligent enough to be a problem whatsoever."
She replied.
"Well, it looks like the alliance’s assessment was wrong, because it seems to me someone almost pulled the cap off a grenade."
A Supreme Commander, red-haired and bulky, replied with an eyeroll.
"That has happened, and it’s over. Good thing she didn’t lose her life, or the friction we’d be having with the Ixxon Family would be beyond worse."
A female Commander said, continuing.
"They’ve cut off half our supply of Technomite due to this. That’s a big loss."
"You know what else could have been a bigger loss?"
"Losing a fucking Mega City because some idiot couldn’t think before acting!"
SLAM!
A heavy wooden strike on the table stopped the murmuring before it got any worse, as all eyes turned to the head of the table where a figure cloaked in pitch-black robes sat, having struck a hammer on an elevated platform of the desk.
"What’s happened, has happened."
"Good thing there were no irreversible casualties."
"Now, let’s discuss what we should do about him."
"White Sinclaw."
And the image in the room changed, a projection of two images appearing.
One was White dressed in an Xtremecyber uniform, while the other was him in the Umbrawyr form, his hands pointed out with a massive black hole spinning before him.
"Well, that’s quite the change."
"A change that we birthed ourselves, by the way."
The blue-haired spectacled man commented.
"I’m not sure anyone here is still in doubt whether he’s an ally or an enemy... unless of course we have retards amongst us."
The hefty crimson-haired man said.
"His fusion with the Aether Pulse Orb and that alien body wasn’t his doing, but one made from one of our own Commanders out of goodwill."
"This is essentially any human boy who blew up a Supernatural ship waking up to find himself in an alien body."
"He, an 18 year old teenager, ventured into Supernatural territory after, into an abandoned Alpha Lair."
"A mission that some of our own mightiest soldiers had refused to take on, saying it wasn’t worth the risk, as if somehow we’re paying them to access risks."
"And when he had the excuse of anger to destroy a Mega City, or at least deal damage to those soldiers that got mobilized, he leaves everyone alive with only a warning."
"So if I hear someone asking me if he’s an ally or an enemy, or if he can be trusted..."
"I’m blowing their fucking head off."
