SSS Awakening: Starting With Infinite Soul Copy
Chapter 146: Learning to Survive (II)
With the phone he had stolen from one of the thieves, he ordered a few items to a random location and waited. ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐ท๐๐ฟ๐๐ต.๐๐๐
His eyes squinted lightly in suspicion as he looked at the street beside him, which opened into a dark alleyway.
Still, his business was to deliver.
A dark hand reached out of the alleyway a moment later, pulling the boxes into the shadows.
Dark trousers, a dark hoodie jacket, along with a black cap which he wore on his head.
With clothes that made him at least fit among them, he moved on to the next step:
There were applications dedicated to getting those, but there were too many requirements.
In the end, he could only go the traditional way of getting a house...
Now in this modern age, such a thing was beyond rare, since the world had progressed so much, but still it happened.
And White was able to find one quickly.
Reaching the front door, he tapped on the button, his ears picking up the ringing inside the room as he waited.
"What do you want?"
"Youโve got a room for rent, right?"
She was a lady, fair-complexioned, seemingly in her early twenties.
"Wow."
He was tall...
She had always thought herself too tall for a girl, yet here was a guy easily towering over her.
"Hi."
"Yes. Thereโs a room available. I can take you around and you decide ifโ"

She responded, taking the money from him.
He asked.
She quickly reached for her pocket and brought out the keys.
She said, and White took it with a nod, turning his back.
She hadnโt finished her words when White was already out of view.
It left Feline standing there, 2,000 Stars in hand.
The room which had been vacant for close to two weeks had been rented out.
Normally, she would have to help the new neighbour settle into the house, give him access to the locality map, and other miscellaneous things.
"Iโll check up on him in the morning."
---
A massive living room, mostly blank.
A kitchen.
Each of them were sparkling clean, which White at least found pleasing.
Now at least, he had the basics.
Being a thief. Hahaha.]
"My way of survival is using the thing Iโm best at to make life easier for myself, and in my case, itโs my strength."
"Thatโs one bad way of interpreting it."
"Pretty sure theyโd be happier to learn the ones who stole from them had also been robbed, donโt you think?"
[And most happy if you returned their money to them.]
White gave in.
โIโm not evil to the deepest part of my soul.โ
He had stolen from thieves mainly because he knew if he traced them to their lair, he would be able to steal bigger cash.
So safe to say, he at least wasnโt evil in the deepest part of his soul.
He pulled the bag closer to him and poured all the cash onto the ground before beginning to count.
Two minutes of counting later, he recited aloudโ
