Ron also followed behind us as we were moving deep into the woods. Though I didn’t want to go with them, there was no other escape for us currently; if a single lightning strike struck us, we would be done for.

I gave a quick glance at the fist-sized crimson colored monster core in Ron’s hand, and we appeared in front of the mountain, with Adrine using his fan to deflect the lightning. All of us quickly entered the cave, and Mink also got in time, before Ron slammed his fist on the side of the wall, causing multiple rocks to fall and shut the entrance.

As the cave fell into the darkness, the only light we were able to see was coming from four glowing crystals. A red one, a white one, a yellow one and lastly a blue one. Here, four monster cores were present, of which two were in Ron’s hand, and the other two were brought by Mink, who was planning to exchange them for candies.

"Good Boy..." I patted his head and took both monster cores from his hand, before taking some candy out of Emi’s pocket, which she always has on herself. Handing him the candy, I simply reclined on the wall and began observing the crystals.

"Cough... cough... shouldn’t you use your flames to light up this place?" Adrine said, disturbing my serious research.

"Don’t you have a cellphone or something?" I replied, taking out my phone, wanting to turn on the flashlight to act cool, but the phone didn’t open; the water had gotten inside.

Suddenly, a white flash fell straight on my face, and I saw Adrine’s mocking grin hidden behind his feather fan as he said, "I almost forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder. Hehe..."

I stared at him in annoyance for a few seconds before Emi also took out her phone, turning her flashlight on. This entire situation was really mood-killing for me, from aura farmer to a fool, things had changed way too fast for me.

"What was all that?" Emi asked me in a low voice, and I already knew she would be asking this question as soon as we got some breathing time.

"What else? Didn’t see that with your own eyes, some evil creatures attacked, and we killed them." I replied casually, because more explanation meant more headache. Moreover, these guys in front of us would have a better explanation about the Wong Zhi mountain situation.

When I turned to them, my eyes were locked on Adrine, while Ron was taking his rest after that fight with the monkey.

"From the look of it, you aren’t from any prestigious clan, so I won’t be saying much. The only thing I can tell you is that this place isn’t safe to wander. Well... if you’re planning to join my clan, I can tell you more about what’s going on here." He said while folding his feather fan.

"Want to join?" He asked again, looking at me with a shameless smile.

"No thanks," I didn’t need any information about what was going on here, because after leaving this cave, time to say goodbye to Mount Wong Zhi.

"Thanks for saving me at that time." Emi opened her mouth, thanking him.

"Hehe... how could I possibly let a beautiful girl like you be blown away by the wind?" He smiled at her, making me want to punch his face.

Suddenly, Ron, who had been silent all the time, finally opened his mouth, his voice cold, "There is an Overlord-grade creature in the mountains."

"What an overlord? Interesting... is he the one controlling the storm?" Adrine asked Ron, while we simply listened to their conversation intently.

"Most likely..." Ron replied, but there wasn’t even a single emotion on his cold face, while the change in Adrine’s posture was clear; his eyes glanced at me before turning back to Ron.

"So, is there a way for us to leave this place safely?" He asked Ron.

"No..." he replied, his eyes turning to me, as he said, "Your flames are called hellfire, right?"

His question didn’t really shock me much. I already knew the system would only be giving me top-tier talents. So, I simply nodded, "Hm."

Inside, I was really happy to see people recognising my ultimate powers.

"Sounds pretty evil, is it some kind of ancient power that I don’t know of?" Adrine asked curiously.

"Not particularly," Ron replied, and didn’t continue talking.

"Hey, I was the only one who killed that Wind demon. Give me its core, and I also want half of that demon monkey core." I suddenly remembered the thing this guy had put in his pocket. I couldn’t possibly let him have all of it.

Well, I didn’t really know what to do with this monster core, but I need to get my share of the war, or these losers would begin to take me lightly. If I were actually stronger than them, it wouldn’t be a problem, but I wasn’t, so I had to live off intimidation, to keep them in limits.

Luckily, I didn’t need to act tough, as he simply threw both of the demon cores at me, which I wasn’t really expecting, but I didn’t show much surprise and quickly pocketed them.

"So, what are we going to do now?" Adrine asked, looking bored.

"What else? Let’s wait for the storm to end." I said, turning back to Emi, who hadn’t been speaking much since all this chaos began, her little head still trying to digest whatever she had seen.

Her body was curled up beside me, shivering from the cold, but all our clothes were wet, but unlike us, she was still a normal human. Her tolerance of cold wasn’t as high as ours. While I was getting worried about her, I didn’t really know how to help her out.

"Are you okay?"

"Hm," she nodded, but I knew she wasn’t, and nothing could be done about it; all of us were trapped here.

"Chee... Cha..."

At this moment, Mink’s voice came into my ears. Reminding me that he was also here with us. When I turned to him, and Emi pointed her flashlight towards him, I was shocked to see that he had drawn a strange circle with a diameter of 3 inches.
