SSS Grade Pervert: I Rule The World
Chapter 35: Boost
"Ricky, see... There is a castle there." Emi’s voice was filled with excitement as she saw the castle ahead of us, which should be the place where the guardian of this dungeon would be found.
"I see..." I wasn’t very excited about the upcoming confrontation, because this place was filled with resources that could easily enhance anyone’s strength. That creature had been staying here for years, or centuries; it wouldn’t be an easy win.
We walked towards the direction of the castle, as a blurry image of the castle slowly began to clear up as the distance between us began to lessen. We walked through multiple flower fields, with many fruit trees, but the effect they gave was far less compared to what I got initially.
After consuming multiple different kinds of fruits, I barely reached the 71 points in physique, which was nothing compared to the boost I got from these fruits at the start.
I didn’t dwell on it much and continued moving my steps, as my end goal was coming nearer.
The Castle was made up of wide marble, shining under the sunlight like jade. This was the first time for me to see a castle outside of a manhua. It was beautiful and felt like something brought straight out of fiction.
We were almost at the Castle gates, but didn’t see a single living soul around; all we had were ourselves.
"Did you like the castle?" I glanced at Emi, who was completely mesmerised by the beauty of this ancient castle. Her eyes were glued to the palace gate, which was made up of the same shiny marble material. The gate was covered in a vine pattern, matching the theme with the surroundings.
The gate appeared as if it were part of the garden. It was giving me a strange feeling to look at. As I stared at the door, I felt like the vine was clenching my body. This feeling was way too subtle. The feeling of suffocation I got from it wasn’t enough to have much of a reaction on me, but I was sure about Emi.
When I turned to her, instead, she was paused in her place. Her body was covered in sweat. She was unable to move her body, as she stayed still in one place. I quickly covered her eyes with my hand and stood in front of her to block that gate’s effect.
She quickly came out of the daze and asked, "What was that?"
"Some kind of mental spell, I guess," I replied, slowly taking my hand off her eyes.
She stared into my eyes and just looked at me, instead of looking at anything else.
"Stay here, I will try to open the door. Don’t look at the door." I turned my back on her and walked towards the gate. Each step of mine was met with resistance, as I felt like multiple vines were stopping me from moving forward. The invisible force that was wrapped around me was making me assert a little more strength to move forward.
My hand touched the door, and I was completely entangled by these invisible vines. It’s hard for me to assert any strength on the door, as most of my strength was getting sucked by these invisible vines.
At this moment, I could only think of one way that could help me out, which was none other than hellfire. I doubt if there would be a moment when hellfire couldn’t save me, hoping that I won’t see any in future too.
The hellfire burns through the body; it didn’t have any effect on the gate, nor was it able to burn these invisible vines. It simply numbed my body to the point where this mental spell couldn’t affect me anymore.
Once my body was numb, all the vines binding me vanished into the thin air. I used my strength to push the door, which was actually still a lot heavier, but it was moving. Just with a little more struggle, I was able to move them enough to get two of us inside.
"Let’s get in," I waited for Emi to walk up to me.
She quickly walked up to me as we headed inside.
Inside the palace gate, there was another tiny garden inside, with a long path made up of shiny marble stones, taking us to the main palace.
We began looking around, trying to see if there was any creature here, while we were checking the surroundings, Mink was quick enough to enter the garden, looking for something to eat again.
But there weren’t any fruits here, just flowers. Obviously, I wouldn’t eat flowers, so it wasn’t worth taking note of.
"I guess we had to go inside, the palace." I sighed, preparing myself to walk inside the palace.
Suddenly, Emi pulled my sleeves. She was looking at the path leading to the inner palace. Her eyes were locked in the distance. I turned my gaze to see, and I found a girl walking towards us.
I was unable to make out her look from a distance. All I could see was that she was wearing a full-size golden robe, covering her entire body. She was coming towards us.
"Looks like we got the final boss," I said, looking straight ahead, ready for the battle. I let the mink wander in the garden, just to have him as a surprise element.
My heart beat was increasing as she was coming closer to me. Her steps were slow, moving in a perfect rhythm.
A minute later, she stood right in front of me. Half of her face was hidden under the translucent golden veil. Her dark gold eyes were giving her an otherworldly aura, just a single look from her made me feel the pressure. Her dress was quite loose, making it hard to outline her figure. Her golden hair complemented her golden eyes.
She stood still in front of us, we stared at her, she stared at us, and silence.
