"What are you doing?" I asked her in annoyance.

"My mother told me not to show my face to anyone until she comes back." She replied innocently, but I wouldn’t buy them easily.

"Were your mother left you alone here, then why did she stop you from showing anyone your face? It’s not like anyone would be coming here except her." I asked while finishing the fruit in my hand, and took the one from Emi and began eating it too.

"She told me... I don’t know why..." Her reply really felt like I was talking with an innocent child.

"Well, whatever, it’s your choice, follow your mother’s words or not," I said, and ordered Mink to collect some more fruits, as I ate them till my stomach was full. Only once I was full and didn’t feel any problem, I let Emi have a bite of this fruit.

"Hey, by the way, what’s your name?" I patted my stomach, finding it hard to move around with a bloated tummy, but when I looked at my stats, I couldn’t help but feel happy.

The growth was simply unimaginable. Throughout this dungeon, I didn’t even have to fight a single monster, and I got so many boosts.

"My name is Aera..." She replied with her golden eyes staring at me in confusion.

"Nice name, me is Ricky, and she’s Emi." I also introduced both of us to her. She didn’t feel like a schemer. Plus, this dungeon was given to me by the system, so I could leave this place whenever I wanted. The only problem was that I would lose the bonus rewards to finish the dungeon on the first try.

"Che... Cha..."

"He is Mink." Mink also came down from the tree with a fully bloated stomach. I didn’t know how much this guy had eaten today, but it was surely a lot.

"Ricky, Emi and Mink..." She called our names one by one, as if trying to save our names in her head.

I turned to the tree and took out the key. I looked at the key in my palm for a second and turned to Aera, bidding our farewell, "We should take our leave now."

She said nothing, her eyes staring at the key in my hand as she asked, "What is this? My mom used to carry a similar thing with her."

Her voice was pure and innocent, without any hidden intent within it. She was looking at the key with curiosity.

I quickly pulled closer and inserted the key into the tree trunk, leaving a few simple words for Aera, "I will tell you when we meet again."

Suddenly, three of us appeared in a pitch-black space. The entire place was filled with darkness, making me tense for a second.

Soon, the darkness around us began to move, as three strange pearls materialised in front of us. Each one of them has a distinct colour. One was white, another one was black, and the last one was golden.

Mink was the first to jump forward to grab them, but he couldn’t even touch them in this darkness.

Well, we didn’t need to, as they came straight into our hands. Each one of us gets one pearl.

I got the white pearl, Emi got the golden one, and Mink got the black one. I held them in my palm, and it instantly sank into my skin, vanishing within my body. The same happened with everyone; we all didn’t know what kind of reward this dungeon had given. All I could do was wait for the system notification to understand what kind of boost this pearl will give me.

What a sinister talent it is. I stared at this new notification for a second; this was in no way helpful for me. All it did was make me a walking power bank for others.

I turned to look at the other; there was no way for me to know about her talent. I looked at her for a moment, finding nothing wrong with her. I checked on Mink to see what kind of talent it had gotten.

The darkness around began to fade, and in the next instant, my ears were blasted by the sound of wind.

As I appeared out of the dungeon, I was blown away by the wind. I didn’t even have the time to check on what the hell was happening, as these winds were making it almost impossible for me to see clearly.

I was caught in the tornado, flying all around in the sky. I couldn’t make sense of this situation.

"Ahhh..."

I was able to hear Emi scream. I used my wind element to travel through this tornado, but... the wind outside was beyond my control at this moment.

But it was enough to lessen the pressure around me, making it easier for me to look at the situation, and it was really hellish. Everything was flying in the sky like a broken kite, but my eyes were only looking at Emi for now.

At this moment, I decided to use my Wing of Undead to see how good they are in this storm.

Six pitch-black wings spread on my back, almost instantly. I didn’t think for another second, dashed through the storm, going for Emi, who was about to be crashed into a flying bus.
