SSS Rank: Infinite Enhancement, I Can Upgrade Everything to God Tier!
Chapter 144: [] : The Warlord’s Victory, Sovereign Loot
The sky above Sector 7 completely cleared.
The oppressive, glaring red atmosphere that had accompanied the Server Wipe Protocol shattered like broken glass. The dark, bruised purple clouds of the Primordial Grid slowly rolled back into place.
The heavy, toxic rain began to fall again, washing over the ruins of the city.
Down in the courtyard of the Iron Bastion, absolute silence hung over the three thousand surviving players. Nobody moved. Nobody breathed.
They had just watched a man get shot by a literal orbital laser, stand back up from a million points of true damage, teleport a thousand feet into the sky, and instantly delete a Level 100 god with a single swing of a halberd.
It was beyond human comprehension. It broke every single established rule of the game they had ever learned.
Then, the global server reacted.
BONG!
A massive, deafening bell chimed across the entire planet. It rang in the ears of every single surviving player on Earth. It echoed through the ruined skyscrapers and the muddy wastelands.
A giant golden banner unrolled across the dark sky, casting a warm and brilliant light over the ruined slums of Sector 7.
[Global Server Announcement!]
[The Server Wipe Protocol in Sector 7 has been successfully repelled.]
[The Apex Eradicator has been permanently deleted.]
[Victor: Player V Hidden Alias]
The system paused for exactly one second. Then, another massive golden text box appeared right below the first one, flashing brightly for the entire server to read.
[Sector 7 Iron Bastion recognized as an Absolute Safe Zone.]
[All surviving players registered within Sector 7 receive a permanent buff: Double Resource Yield from all monster drops and mining nodes.]
For three long seconds, the courtyard remained entirely silent. They were just processing the golden words floating above them.
Then, a massive warrior near the central forges dropped his rusted sword onto the stone pavement and threw his hands into the air.
"He killed it!" the warrior screamed at the top of his lungs, tears streaming down his face. "The Warlord killed the wipe event! We are alive!"
That broke the dam.
The entire Iron Bastion erupted into wild, manic celebration. Three thousand players completely lost their minds. They screamed, cheered, and hugged each other. People were crying tears of pure, unadulterated joy. They weren’t going to get their brains fried in their dive pods. They were going to live to see tomorrow!
"Double loot!" a scavenger yelled, dancing wildly in the middle of a puddle. "We get double loot forever! This city is an absolute goldmine!"
Up on the high stone balcony, Sloane slumped against the iron railing. She let out a massive, shaky breath and wiped a tear from her eye. The pure stress of the last hour finally drained out of her body.
"I am never doubting him again," Sloane whispered to herself. "The Warlord is literally a walking cheat code."
Kendra sat down heavily on the stone floor, resting her sniper bow next to her boots. She just started laughing hysterically. It was a laugh of pure relief.
Richter stood nearby and shook his head. He was a corporate guy. He knew the money involved in sending an Eradicator. His bosses just got completely owned by one guy.
Outside the city walls, Declan ignored the loud cheering echoing from his fortress. He was entirely focused on his personal system interface.
The level up chimes were hammering in his head in a continuous, frantic rhythm.
[Experience Points Gained: 35,000,000]
[Level Cap Reached. Experience stored for future Ascension.]
Thirty five million experience points. It was an absolutely absurd number. He had easily hit the Level 75 cap, and the system was forced to bank the rest of the points because his physical vessel couldn’t handle any more immediate growth.
"The level cap is really annoying," Declan muttered.
But Declan didn’t care about the levels right now. He cared about the loot. He cared about the payout for saving his city.
[Combat Rating Calculated: SSS Rank]
[Origin Points Transferred: plus 30,000,000]
Declan’s eyes went wide. Thirty million Origin Points. He had completely bankrupted himself buying the Orbital Ion Reflector and the Desolation Armor set just minutes ago to survive the siege. Now, he was instantly richer than he had ever been!
He had enough capital to literally buy out the entire Global Auction House and fund his city for the next decade.
He swiped to the next notification.

"Bram is going to have a heart attack," Declan smirked. The millions of raw materials would allow the Master Artificer to build an automated defense grid that could stop a planetary invasion. They could line the walls with hundreds of plasma turrets and never run out of ammo.
But there was one final item sitting at the bottom of the loot screen. It glowed with a heavy, brilliant gold light that completely outshone the rest of the text.
[Item Retrieved: Warlord Citadel Token]
Declan tapped the item. A small, heavy coin made of pristine white gold materialized in his palm. It felt incredibly warm to the touch.
[Item Information]
↳ Tier: Divine Anomaly
↳ Functionality: This token grants the user absolute administrative control over a massive landmass. When used within an established Safe Zone, it immediately upgrades the city tier to a Global Capital. Unlocks advanced NPC recruitment, automated resource harvesting, and permanent cross server teleportation gates.
Declan stared at the token. His pitch black eyes gleamed with raw, unchecked ambition.
He didn’t just have a safe zone anymore. He had the keys to building a true empire in this new, violent reality. He could connect to other sectors and pull resources from across the globe.
He casually flipped the gold coin into the air, caught it cleanly, and shoved it deep into the pocket of his dark Predator’s Coat.
Declan turned around and started walking slowly back toward the massive iron gates of his city. The heavy toxic rain washed over his pristine black gear as the players inside chanted his name.
The tutorial was officially over. The apex Paradigm were exposed. The world was his for the taking.
