The leading sabertooth tiger fiercely opened its jaw, desperately wanting to bite completely through his torso.
Its massive, one-foot-long fangs were already closing in dangerously on his midsection, cutting through the air with terrifying speed.
Leon looked directly into the beast’s crazed eyes, his mind processing the deadly movement effortlessly.
’Too slow.’ he thought.
To his newly heightened senses, the monster’s explosive leap looked like it was moving through thick, heavy syrup.
He could see every individual hair on its face vibrating, yet he didn’t even bother to step back or dodge the incoming attack.
The ferocious sabertooth tigers had been absolutely no match for him earlier when Excalibur was still in its phantom mode with all of its primary stat boosts completely halved.
Talk less of now, when he had just actively deployed Radiant Ascension to completely double his baseline capabilities and push his power to the absolute maximum.
There was simply no comparison between his past self and the god-like force he wielded at this very moment.
He smoothly swung his sword upward in a sharp, vertical arc, the golden blade crackling violently with arcs of lightning that hissed through the cavern air.
The weapon moved so fast it left a brilliant trail in its wake, completely cutting through the heavy darkness of the dungeon and illuminating the terrifying scene.
Without even using his active Crescent Slash skill, the raw edge of the blade effortlessly tore through the massive monster from the very bottom of its jaw all the way to the top of its head.
The physical resistance was completely non-existent, as if he were merely swinging his sword through the empty air.
At the exact same time, the intense, volatile golden lightning instantly fried the creature’s entire nervous system from the inside-out, cooking its internal organs in a millisecond.
The giant beast immediately dropped completely dead to the rocky ground, its skull perfectly split into two separate halves while its smoking body still crackled wildly with the leftover currents of golden lightning.
As the first beast hit the cavern floor with a heavy, echoing thud, a bright translucent notification box instantly appeared directly before Leon’s flickering vision.

Leon smirked widely, the expression completely filled with a supreme, unmatched confidence as he slowly turned his glowing gaze towards the remaining nine sabertooth tigers.
The ferocious beasts were still charging incredibly angrily straight at him, their heavy paws thundering against the ground as if they hadn’t even noticed their dead colleague lying completely split in two on the rocky floor right beside them.
Leon lightly clicked his tongue in a calm, entirely relaxed manner, his grip tightening firmly around the brilliant, glowing handle of the legendary sword as he watched the pack close the distance.
"You are all really that eager to die right now, huh..." Leon said out loud, his smooth voice echoing clearly through the dark, damp cavern as he faced the incoming wall of claws and fangs. "If that is truly the case, then just do me a massive favor and make sure to give me a useful drop at least."
His intense golden eyes suddenly flickered violently with bright golden flames, the energy swirling rapidly inside his pupils as he stared down the bloodthirsty monsters.
He tilted his head slightly, a dark, completely mocking smile playing on his lips as he muttered in a low, playful whisper, "Pretty please..."
The moment the words left his mouth, the volatile golden lightning that was violently crackling all around the sharp edge of Excalibur immediately shifted and transformed into incredibly thick, roaring flames.
The intense heat from the newly manifested fire radiated outward instantly, causing the damp air of the high-rank dungeon to hiss, warp, and distort around his body.
Leon fluidly swung the fully unleashed blade straight towards the incoming horde of monsters with an immense, sweeping horizontal motion.
The sheer force of his swing effortlessly unleashed a truly massive crescent-shaped slash made entirely of those dense, fiery golden flames, the roaring projectile expanding rapidly through the air until it spanned about two meters wide.
The colossal crescent slash roared down the cavern path like a tidal wave of pure destruction, completely swallowing up all of the remaining sabertooth tigers at the exact same time before they could even attempt to dodge.
The divine fire easily cleaved every single one of them vertically straight across their muscular torsos, burning through skin, muscle, and bone in an instant.
The devastating fiery slash didn’t even slow down after obliterating the entire pack of C-rank beasts.
It continued flying forward with unstoppable momentum, cutting through the heavy darkness until it violently slammed directly into the solid stone wall located far behind them, leaving a remarkably deep, smoking cut gouged permanently into the dungeon’s structure.
An absolute flood of bright, translucent system notifications immediately began flashing rapidly back-to-back across Leon’s flickering golden eyes, stacked neatly over one another.
