Taking a deep breath, he opened the first one. A golden radiance flooded the cave as item after item materialized before him in a cascade of sparkling light.

The gauntlets were heavy and solid, made from a greyish-white material that seemed to contain flecks of what looked like actual stone. When Andrew slipped them on, he could feel the raw power contained within them, as if the strength of a mountain giant was waiting to be unleashed.

As he equipped the final item, a notification appeared indicating a set bonus.

Andrew equipped them all and he felt a massive surge of strength fill his entire body as all the pieces of the set activated together. His combat index rushed up crazily, and he could feel every fiber of his being becoming more powerful.

The Heavenbreaker Warplate covered his torso and limbs with its shimmering metal, while the Shadowstride Boots, Titan Gauntlets, King’s Valor Ring, and Emerald Serpent Necklace completed the ensemble.

He looked like a proper dungeon raider, with gold equipment shining all over his body.

Right now, he had no idea what his exact combat power was, but he knew he would no longer need any transformation or trick to easily defeat enemies like the Grey Rat King. His power had grown exponentially in a very short time.

Andrew caught sight of the corpse of the rat leader nearby, lying in a pool of its own blood.

He walked toward the corpse, his new boots making almost no sound on the cave floor. Standing over the fallen beast, he activated his Extraction system.

’Finally extracted a skill,’ Andrew grinned happily as his trump card continued to increase. The Berserk skill would be incredibly useful in tough battles, allowing him to temporarily boost his combat power significantly when needed.

Unfortunately, that was all he could extract from the rat leader’s corpse. The system had drained everything of value from the massive beast.

But there was not only one corpse in the dungeon. Scattered around the cave were the remains of the twenty players from Arian’s party that Andrew had killed during the battle.

Andrew walked forward without shame and activated his extraction system on the first corpse without guilt or remorse.

They had come to steal from him, they deserve to die a hundred deaths for that.

The system rang continuously as he moved from body to body, extracting everything of value. By the 20th person, he had gained over 22 strength, 15 agility, 20 physique, and 10 mana. But the physical attributes were only part of what he had gained.

He also gained 15 new talents and 7 new bloodlines!

’When I have ample time, I will try my Creation Talent on these bloodlines,’ he thought to himself, already imagining the possibilities of combining different bloodlines to create something entirely new. ’For now, let’s head to the beginner village.’
