Chapter 481: Ragna

The three of them focused on what was happening on the planet. They noticed that a few people, from their view, were capable of taking down the abyss monsters, and the planet also seemed to have very capable weapons for targeting the monsters and bringing them down fast.

"We can’t really judge their performance yet, the rift in the sky isn’t too big, it’s a class two rift at best so the number of abyss monsters will not be much and so will their strength as well," the lady analyzed.

"That is true, but don’t forget the fact that the rift is a growing one, by the time it reaches its max size, it should be capable of sending out some serious monsters against them," the elf said.

The man in bandages kept looking at the planet as if trying to find something, then finally he spoke, "There are many demigods on this planet." He said one line, but the other two looked at him with some shock on their faces.

"I did hear the demigods came here to have underground battles, but why would they stay to help them fight, their lives are far more important than whatever is happening here." The lady said, her expression showed that she was genuinely curious.

"Maybe the information that we gained wasn’t true," the elf said.

"You are saying the empire is wrong?" The lady asked.

"Of course the empire can be wrong, not everyone agrees with this setting and beyond that, far places from the center like this have not even heard about the fact that the empire is now being created, so how do you expect their information to be true," the bandaged man said. He folded his arms as he spoke.

"The entire structure is yet to be fully formed in fact, with the different factions claiming their right over different parts and settings of the empire, we are at war and all they care about is who owns what."

The elf and the lady exchanged looks and then shrugged, they already knew what type of person the bandaged man was, despite the fact that he follows orders, it never stopped him from questioning what they were doing and analyzing the situation that they had found themselves in.

"As for the demigods that are here, I’m sure they’ll handle one situation easily no matter what," he added.

"Yeah, that raises a bit of a concern, do we say the planet passed the test if they win because of the demigods who, regardless of where they stay, would be added to the empire already?" The elf stated.

"Genuine concern, yet not our business, our business is to watch and see if they win, if they win, we report back, anything else is an extra part that we don’t have a part in," the bandaged man said what he had to say and focused back on the planet, watching the battle.

The other two looked back as well, focusing on their jobs.

[........]

At the same time on the planet, Silva, who had been shooting through the town at breakneck speed and taking down tons of abyssal monsters, came to a halt. He looked up at the sky, he saw the three standing outside in space.

’Those three figures, they are watching the battle that’s happening, for what purpose?

I can tell from their presence alone that they are at least demigods. The question is why are they simply watching, should I meet them? No, that would be dumb, they don’t know I see them yet.

For now, let’s focus on the monsters.’

He turned his attention to the flying abyssal monster that was headed his way, it looked like a bat, but with a more grumpy and squeezed face.

Silva attacked it with a simple blast of flames, killing the monster easily.

This might have been a very easy kill for him, but something was still bothering him, and after he spotted those people in the sky above, his worry got even bigger.

He had the feeling that this wasn’t something simple or something that would pass. What if this was the beginning of something far too big and far too dangerous, what if the universe or more was about to face something extremely large?

With those thoughts in his mind, he couldn’t help but worry about his home, he left everyone there on that floating rock to ensure that they are all fine, while at the same time they might now be facing abyss monsters and he wasn’t there to help.

He couldn’t go back as well, not when he was running from Ragna and his sleeping angels, if he made the mistake of returning, all of them would die right before his eyes.

Aren clenched his jaw hard, he was vastly stronger now and even then he couldn’t stop the threat that existed for his family.

"Tch, enough of this, if Ragna comes next time, I’ll ensure that I end this battle between him and me for sure this time, I need to."

As Silva found his conviction, the system suddenly turned on.

[Ragna has locked onto you, expect his army in one hour]

This was the first time that Aren had seen such a message, Ragna was coming to him with an army on this world in an hour’s time.

"Shit, why did I have to jinx myself," Aren complained, there was the rift now and Ragna was on his way and the people of this planet didn’t know that.

As for the three that were floating in space, they felt a sudden presence headed their way and it made their skin crawl instantly, fear filled them.

"That’s not the presence of a god," the bandaged man said.

"That’s a primordial being, why the hell is a primordial being headed this way, they should not be somewhere like this, their very presence could cause destruction," the elf said, the fear in his eyes was evident, this wasn’t good.
