“King of Great Li, you will eradicate the chaos beasts in those worlds. All Fused Dao within Silver Moon borders are to listen to your instructions and keep all enemies below exalted emperor in check!”

Hundreds of thousands of Fused Dao in Silver Moon poured out after Li Hao’s instructions. They’d long received their orders, so they were both nervous and excited. New faces were nervous, the old guard was excited.

Many of them had been part of the Silver Moon Guards five hundred years ago. A portion of them had even participated in the war of the four continents.

But after five hundred years of peace, the battlefield had become the chaos. There... didn’t seem to be any use for them.

They could finally be part of the action today! They would ensure that no one beneath exalted emperor could do anything!

Silver Moon had limited numbers of exalted emperors but many hostile worlds to deal with in this operation. Fused Dao would be critical in maintaining order. They reported for duty wearing their old battle armor. Even though the armor left behind by New Martial was no longer useful to them, it was a symbol of their old identity.

Several hundred thousand cultivators blazed with fighting spirit. Some were in high spirits, others couldn’t wait.

“We are the vanguard for our king! Demon Hunters! Demon Hunters!” Some pumped fists in the air.

Some of the exalted emperors in the crowd looked over, complicated looks in their eyes.

It hadn’t been all that long for Li Hao, but it had been much too long for these people. Five hundred years! They’d once charged into battle, howling war cries together. They hunted the demons of the world and safeguarded justice!

Up ahead, Li Hao blinked and looked back. He was lost in a daze. Demon Hunters!

How long had it been since he last heard this battle call?

He’d been part of the Demon Hunters at first, then created the Demon Hunter Army. That ultimately evolved into the Demon Hunter Guards, but he hadn’t heard these shouts ever since departing Silver Moon.

Five hundred years had passed on his home, but they... were still there. They still remembered!

Li Hao broke out of his reverie. “Today, we hunt demons and glorify Silver Moon! My warriors, contain the mayhem of the worlds and liberate humanity! Demon Hunters!”

“Demon Hunters!” hollered the veterans.

The marquis still remembered them. The commander still remembered them. The Demon Hunter Guard still existed!

“Generals Liu Long, Huang Yu, Li Daoheng, Hou Xiaochen, and Yao Si will lead the Demon Hunter Guard. You guys will assist the Great Li king and eliminate all enemies! The rest will follow me to overpower the chaos world masters!”

There was a Battle Heaven Army leader, Silver Moon provincial army commander, Demon Hunter Guard leader, Night Watcher head, and Silver Moon Guard commander-in-chief among this group. They had wielded authority of the various armies back in the day.

And that had been so long ago!

Even Li Hao had nearly forgotten how high their spirits had been then. Powerhouses answered the call whenever he flourished the banner!

Behind him, the five exalted emperors were likewise gripped with emotion. They followed the Great Li king without a word.

It was the king who was quietly excited. He knew that this was Li Hao’s preparation for him to establish his own authority. Five exalted emperors would be obeying his commands! For some reason, he was electrified.

“Do Great Li troops still exist among the army?!” he bellowed as golden armor appeared over his body. “If so, follow this king to conquer the worlds! We will dominate those who will not bend the knee, strike down monsters and demons, and make known the glory of Great Li!”

“We are here!” There were indeed Great Li powerhouses left within the hundreds of thousands of warriors. They roared with agitation and almost rioted from sheer emotion.

Our king is still here!

Even though the Great Li king was yet to verify his dao after five hundred years, these Fused Dao were still beside themselves with joy. They were surprised, exhilarated, and thrilled on this day.

Outside the sixth rank world.

A group of chaos beasts were still waiting, some were growing impatient. Were they still not going to start?

Some of the mid ranks grumbled to themselves. No one was afraid of the Exalted Black Dog Emperor at that level of strength. How long had they waited already? Why hadn’t they started yet??

It was just a sixth rank world, who knew how much of it they would get? It wasn’t like they were devouring it—they were just absorbing some of the energy drifting off from the process. Black Dog was certainly giving himself airs.

Did he really think he was the ruler of this area?

There were other fifth ranks in the distance. They roared at Panther, “Fellow Daoist Black Dog, when are you going to begin? This seat is going to leave if you don’t. If It wasn’t for Phoenix Mountain, this seat wouldn’t have come at all! We’ve been here for a few days already!”

Panther could also sense the disturbance in the world. The dog was very excited as well. It’d been so long since everyone marched out together. This notion of ‘everyone’ included a lot of folks, such as Liu Long and the Silver Moon martial masters.

Li Hao had been a lone wolf ever since entering the chaos. Even the battle Orchid Forest had seen the participation of only a few exalted emperors. That was because everyone was too weak and the young man’s enemies had always been too strong. No one had the ability to join his fights.

The two dao masters couldn’t be part of too many battles. As the situation repeated itself over and over, dejection, disappointment, hopelessness, and self-doubt set in for many from Silver Moon.

Li Hao had poured too many resources into the world and created many exalted emperors, but they all seemed to be useless! They weren’t needed at all!

Yet today, there might be a chance.

Panther suddenly howled and shrank in on itself. It was no longer as massive as it’d once been. It took to the air like it was leaping through the clouds!

The diminutive Panther was as if an ant compared to these gigantic beings. It wasn’t the least bit afraid, however. Instead, the dog was champing at the bit!

Panther vanished, just like it was accustomed to doing so whenever battle began. The dog reappeared when people least expected it, intercepting enemies, ambushing, and suddenly striking from behind...

It’d been so long since this kind of battle, hunt, and coordinated action had taken place.

The chaos beasts in the surroundings looked around with surprise. Why had the Exalted Black Dog Emperor suddenly vanished? What was he doing?

The... sixth rank world was still right in front of them. Did he not want it anymore? Wasn’t he concerned that someone would outright swallow it?

People died for fortune and birds died for food. A sixth rank world was one matter in regular times since it had a world master in residence. But when its owner suddenly ran off...

The fifth rank that’d expressed its impatience earlier was suddenly tempted.

Silver Moon’s strongest strength was on display, alongside the addition of Void and a few other exalted emperors surrendered from other factions. They blinked at each other, feeling a sense of deja vu.
