The infusion of faith brought a sense of comfort that also lulled one into losing themselves. The chaos beast roared, seeking to expel the intoxication. It shook its great dao, wanting to vibrate that human to death!

The queen’s moon was fully part of the chaos dao now. She was still alive, but Li Hao was looking around with alarm. Chaos energy was flooding the star of light in the sky. It rampaged straight through the dao star and erupted.

The queen was extracting chaos strength from the earth dragon! She naturally couldn’t digest it as a second rank, so she shoved it all at Li Hao. The young man’s great dao was abruptly faced with rioting chaos strength. He almost split apart from it!

“You...” Li Hao nearly burst into curses. Are you trying to be the death of me?!

He quickly shut his mouth because the earth dragon’s eyes widened and its presence decreased. Even though it was just a little, that was sufficient to bring joy to Li Hao’s eyes.

This would work!

“Go faster, Ling Yue!” Li Hao immediately changed his attitude. The ferocious tiger continued to throw itself at the avenue of great dao. Void also recovered himself and continued the fight, once more depleting and replenishing himself!

The two worked inside and out to furiously exhaust their opponent!

The queen was connected to the chaos dao in moon form. She was devoting all of her capabilities to extracting chaos energy from the earth dragon’s dao. As she transmitted more of the strength to Li Hao, the look in the young man’s eyes shifted and his eyes turned red!

The star of time started shaking as well. So much dao strength crashing into it was straining its limits. Meanwhile, the chaos beast began panicking!

What kind of humans were these??

It wasn’t afraid of Li Hao with enormous mental strength or the strong Void, but... what was this situation right now?

Someone could enter its great dao and steal its dao strength! That was unbelievable!

Chaos dao was the foundation for chaos beasts, but now it could be infiltrated... This was the equivalent of someone trespassing on a human seventh rank’s dao universe and taking some of their dao origin energy.

The last person to do so was Li Hao—he’d dealt a heavy blow to the Red Moon master for it. And now, a second rank was doing the same to a chaos beast!

The earth dragon’s great dao trembled like a leaf!

The brilliant moon was also starting to crack from the shaking, but endless power of faith surged to solidify it. The queen grunted with agony. She was just a second rank, but the reverberations of the other’s great dao were bringing the sensation of death to her.

If it wasn’t for Li Hao’s tiger still tearing at the chaos beast and distracting it, just a few shakes would be enough to end her!

So this was what was meant by a seventh rank exalted emperor?

It was terrifying!

A second rank would die to a single swat if they were fighting face-to-face. Truly a single swat.

At the same time, in the sky.

Two rivers of dao circled overhead. Gan Wuliang’s voice rang out tenderly, “Sleep with peace of mind... this is all fake... it’s just a dream...”

The two erupted with sixth rank strength when they were combined. The rivers of dao trembled from effort. Since they could not mount a direct offensive against a seventh rank, Gan Wuliang switched to a different tactic.

The chaos beast roared, wanting to break the forces assaulting it. A sweep of the tail nearly sent Void to his death, but Li Hao waved a hand to help his friend recover. At the same time... thunderclouds gathered in the sky...

Boom!

A chaos tribulation exploded and a thunderbolt crashed into the earth dragon. It jerked, but there was only one thought in its mind. This is just a dream... I’m going to drift off now...

Gan Wuliang’s face was as pale as a sheet, but he continued comforting the chaos beast. Just when he thought success was at hand, his eyes widened.

The two rivers of dao churned madly.

Boom!

Gan Wuliang and Hong Yitang separated into two again. They retched blood as dao strength faded away from them.

“You stupid, puny reptiles!” snarled the earth dragon. Damn it! It’d almost been hypnotized by that annoying power. These guys were so irritating.

Although the chaos beast’s strength was declining, it remained incomparably strong. It was everyone on Li Hao’s side that was injured, yet still unable to eliminate their target.

The young man took a deep breath and grunted. The star of time vanished, reappearing over the earth dragon’s head. Dao strength flooded out when he shouted!

The star of time threw off scintillating light! A force to freeze everything flared. Time, stopped!

The earth dragon slowed down, no longer as forceful as before and unable to instantly shatter the interference as before. A longsword appeared in Li Hao’s hand and the power of a thousand worlds gathered to him!

This strength also contained a large amount of chaos strength. It threatened to rage our of control as it came from the earth dragon.

The sword swung down!

A chip flew off from the Firmament Sword, but it left a deep gouge on the chaos beast’s neck. Blood flowed madly, which also served to bring the earth dragon back to its senses. It shrugged off the effects of time and slammed its claws down on Li Hao!

Void immediately responded, but another set of claws smashed through the six dao stars. A shocked Void instantly wilted. The chaos beast really was putting everything on the line! No matter how hard it struck before, it hadn’t broken through six dao stars in one go!

Li Hao was still focused on the fight. He interfered with the earth dragon’s dao as best he could, so that the queen continued with unfettered access. The young man also used time to suppress the chaos beast, which meant that chaos tribulations arrived to smite the earth dragon for being in the presence of time...

Li Hao also looked at the cat hovering in the air not too far away.

Number Two!

The cat was observing the battle; it wasn’t participating. But when it saw that the chaos beast was starting to make its final stand, the cat disappeared!

It came back in sight next to the great dao and opened its giant mouth, devouring energy. The earth dragon didn’t have time to react before a war of weakness washed over it.

The queen was only extracting a portion of the chaos energy, but Number Two instantly drained it of seventy percent of strength. The chaos beast was suddenly very fragile!

“The Ash Emperor...” murmured a shell-shocked earth dragon. How was this possible??

A cat powerhouse strong enough to swallow seventy percent of its dao strength... Who would it be, if not the Ash Emperor?

Boom!

The ferocious tiger howled and broke through the increasingly tenuous chaos dao. The power of time flared to freeze the chaos beast again. Dozens of exalted emperors materialized to land a joint blow!

Rumble!!

The massive chaos beast flew everywhere. Incredulity shone out of its eyes as it looked toward Number Two. Was that the Ash Emperor?

Its momentary weakness had permitted its opponents to seize an opening. Li Hao’s attack had snapped its great dao. Although it was still alive, its dao was broken and its physical body swiftly weakening...

Bam!

Another punch of six daos landed, blasting a giant hole in the previously impervious body!

Number Two’s body expanded madly in the sky, threatening to explode. It’d eaten too much. It wasn’t Big Cat.

The cat opened its mouth and vomited endless chaos strength into Li Hao’s river of dao. The young man split the chaos beast into two with one stroke, but his eyes grew redder and he threw his head back with a snarl!

“Number Two!” he roared. Where do you think you’re dumping that energy into?!

I’m barely holding up beneath what the queen sent me and you just spat out even more! Why did you throw up everything you can’t digest??

Number Two looked around guiltily. Don’t... don’t you have a thousand worlds that need energy? I thought you could take it! With so many minor worlds around, isn’t it a good thing to absorb more?

Li Hao was on the verge of losing control. Violence, savagery, and all manner of brutality filled his mind. He wanted to slaughter everything in sight.

Damned cat and queen, did you guys forget that i’m only a fifth rank?!

The dao strength of chaos beasts was too cruel; it knocked the young man off balance. This was worse than when the Red Moon great dao interfered with him!

These guys suck! Although they’ve earned a lot of credit with this fight, how can they shove endless chaos energy into my river??

The tyrannical Li Hao hacked madly away, slicing the dying earth dragon into millions of pieces. The chaos beast keened, wanting to make its final struggles. But faced with so many exalted emperors working in tandem meant that it was obliterated in the blink of an eye!

Li Hao struck again, forcing a shadow out of the void and annihilating it.

The earth dragon wailed with bitterness!

“The Dragon master... will have your heads for this!”

This was such a bitter death! The Silver Moon king and Light crown prince hadn’t been able to kill it. It’d led to a bunch of weaklings instead! These guys could swallow his dao strength!

That was an enormous threat to chaos beasts.

The earth dragon immensely regretted ignoring these weaklings and was even more terrified that the second rank could become part of chaos dao, and live! If she continued to survive, she would grow stronger and do the same to other chaos beasts she encountered. That was the greatest danger of all!

It was a threat to their entire species!

As for Number Two, that was just an entity with strong powers of devouring. It wasn’t directly attached to chaos dao. The earth dragon wanted to get the news out that someone had cultivated chaos dao, becoming part of it, and was still alive!

Mental ripples—its last effort—furiously extended in all directions. It wanted to spread the word. So long as this was made public, the Dragon master would rush back to kill this human, even if it meant giving up the three regions!

Assimilating with the chaos and living to tell the tale was an unimaginable threat that had to be eradicated!
