“It has!” Gan Wuliang couldn’t help but express his admiration. “Your Lordship is truly wise. If we were in the other three regions and a dao universe stretched outward, everyone would know that this is a sign of danger.

“Here, however, these guys think it’s an opportunity. They think it’s a dissemination of pure dao strength and actually come closer instead...”

Who would suspect that danger lurked near Dragon major world?

“We should be vigilant even in times of peace.” The look in Li Hao’s eyes grew harsh. “I hope everyone commits this to memory! Chaos beasts have been at ease in Dragon Region for far too long. Then let us remind them that humans are still stronger in the universe!

“Since the dao universe has reached their worlds, then... let us make our moves! Everyone is to enter the dao universe!”

A crack in the void formed for the dao universe. Various exalted emperors darted within. The dao universe stretched to whatever worlds were nearby. Travel was so much easier with a dao universe, they could just outright descend upon their desired location!

A group of people advanced as the river of dao churned. They weren’t going to break through the worlds one by one, but acting in unison! None of the twenty-seven worlds would be getting away!

Apart from Desolate, the three sixth rank worlds were priority targets. Li Hao would handle one, Void another, and the remaining would go to the two dao masters. The rest of the worlds were left for the Silver Moon exalted emperors.

The mid ranks were assigned to Celestial Pole and the others, with Li Hao and Void coming by to clean up the battlefield when they were finished on their end. The weaknesses of the Silver Moon exalted emperors were on full display in this moment as well. They lacked certain offensive capabilities once they spit up.

This was a sixth rank world with a chaos cicada as the master of the world. They were a rare sight in the chaos. Although they cultivated chaos dao, their main dao of choice was the unique dao of sound waves.

Opponents were often killed before they even registered that they were hearing a cicada’s buzz.

Currently, a massive cicada over the world was greedily slurping up dao strength. It was overjoyed by the bounty. Newly born dao universes overflowed with dao strength and the key was, the amount disseminated could not be controlled.

It’d been having a ball of a time over the past couple of days. This was amazing!

If it wasn’t for wariness of the Exalted Earth Dragon Emperor, the cicada even wanted to venture into the dao universe for a look. It was the first time it was sensing a dao universe in such close proximity. It even felt like the dao universe was overhead!

That was so close that it wanted to rip through the void and enter it outright. Unfortunately, Earth Dragon was a seventh rank that it didn’t dare antagonize.

It sensed the ripples of the dao universe as it absorbed everything it could. That’s weird, is something happening inside the dao universe?

A human appeared in the sky as its puzzlement grew. Li Hao was equally amazed by the sight!

How greedy! The dao universe is right overhead, but you dare absorb energy beneath it. Do you really think you’re getting all of this energy for free?

Nothing is free in this world! You deserve death if you don’t get even that!

He didn’t say anything; there was no need to say anything. A longsword materialized in his hand—the Firmament Sword. Instead of a fourth rank imperial weapon, it was now a fifth rank!

A thousand worlds converged and the power of destruction appeared. A dao domain bore down on the cicada, as if the arrival of a chaos tribulation!

The sword struck!

The dao domain had constrained the sixth rank. The cicada didn’t even have time to react before its death rattle rang out. It’d been too close to the dao universe!

Boom!

The world seemed to shatter as thunderbolts struck it. When the sword completed its swing, the cicada laid in two halves. Its dao mark had just started coming into view when the backswing smashed it apart.

A vast quantity of chaos strength seeped out, leaving a cicada puzzled even in death. How? Why?

It wasn’t the only one!

Battle erupted in many of the worlds nearby. Li Hao’s had ended quickly. Void was moving swiftly as well and completely froze a sixth rank with emptiness in the blink of an eye.

His daos flared and a punch of six daos obliterated the chaos beast!

Compared to his usual style, Void was showing more hints of unyielding ferocity today. He wouldn’t have deployed this punch in times past. The man preferred using methods of lofty showmanship, such as the world of emptiness. an interplay of light and darkness, or extracting life and death.

But ever since exchanging blows with the earth dragon, he’d learned that even a lion needed to invest full strength in capturing a rabbit. If not, an unexpected defeat was very possible.

Hence, he employed a move that could break a seventh rank’s body as soon as the fight began. The poor sixth rank didn’t stand a chance before dying on the spot!

There were some worlds that were yet to be attacked. Their world masters could see that fighting seemed to have erupted in the distance. As they gaped with shock, Li Hao and Void teleported to two fifth rank worlds.

This was the advantage of a dao universe!

Otherwise, it would’ve taken some time to travel between the worlds. But when it came to a dao universe, anywhere that the dao universe touched was instantly reachable!

Granted, the risk to this was that it was easy to expose the location of said dao universe. Any powerhouses in the vicinity could easily break in!

Li Hao and Void, however, did not care about that.

The fifth ranks of those two worlds didn’t have time to retreat when the two humans appeared. When sixth ranks were disposed of in the blink of an eye, fifth ranks were even more easily eradicated!

Li Hao disposed of the fifth rank in front of him like the chaos beast was paper! Finally, finally screams of horror sounded in the surroundings.

Exalted emperors started howling, but their voices would not carry in the chaos. Not to mention, there was a dao universe around them...

In return, Silver Moon exalted emperors howled excited battle cries. More of them were employing the aura this time!

Lin Hongyu had fully mastered the dao of death. By now, Li Hao was starting to wonder if he could do the same with the exalted emperors he killed. That would be incredible as he’d dispatched the earth dragon, Waterpeak, and a Red Moon seventh rank...

If he could do the same as Lin Hongyu, wouldn’t that mean he would have three seventh ranks under his banner already?

Granted, there seemed to be some limitations to this ability. The primary one was that Lin Hongyu needed to be the one doing the killing.

Li Hao ignored the rest and teleported to where Lin Hongyu was. The woman blinked when he grabbed her arm and vanished. They reappeared in the last sixth rank world.

The two dao masters were encircling their opponent and had already taken the upper hand. They faced a massive bear!

Li Hao summoned his longsword as soon as they appeared and erupted with the power of destruction. The sword pierced through the bear, but left it alive to struggle madly!

“Finish it!” said Li Hao.

Lin Hongyu summoned her blood-soaked curved blade and struck. The power of death flared as she ran the chaos beast through. Another blow decimated the dao mark.

Li Hao watched silently, turning to Lin Hongyu when nothing happened.

“This won’t work if you want them to turn in my spirit guards,” the woman shook her head. “There are some rules in the chaos as well. Or rather, some rules in this great dao. I can transform dead spirits for my use, but their fatal injury needs to have taken place under my dao of death!”

“So you mean that if I trap them and restrain them for you to kill, that will ensure they revive as your spirit guards?” Li Hao said thoughtfully.
