A giant dragon journeyed swiftly through the chaos. It traveled with increasing confusion.

There were far fewer minor worlds in the surroundings than he would expect. Long Xuan had thought at first that everyone had gone to witness the ascension of Earth Dragon major world. But there still weren’t many worlds to be seen when he neared his destination. He’d seen some along the way, yet those were few and far in between.

When had Dragon major world declined to such straits?

He could now see a world in the distance, but it stood all by its lonesome. Just what was going on here?

There were many exalted emperors around, however, and they brightened upon seeing him. The Exalted Emperor Long Xuan was here! He’d arrived earlier than expected, coming in only half a day!

“Greetings to the venerated one!”

“Greetings to Venerated Long Xuan!” A group of excited exalted emperors sent over their dao ripples from very far away. He was here! They could rest easy now. All would soon be known if there was anything off about Earth Dragon.

Long Xuan picked up speed, seeming to arrive in the blink of an eye. He took human form when he stopped and twitched his nose. There was a dense scent of blood on the scene that would not dissipate!

How strange!

Where did such a concentrated smell of blood come from? And where were the other worlds that should be in the area?

He took another glance into the distance. Earth Dragon major world had always emanated its world master’s presence, but currently...

A light flashed through Long Xuan’s eyes. He pierced through the veil of deception.

Long Xuan jolted with shock. That wasn’t... Earth Dragon. Earth Dragon’s presence had... faded away. Damn it, what the hell is going on here?

Some of the exalted emperors stepped forward, wanting to explain the situation. However, Long Xuan’s expression flickered slightly and he transformed back into his primary form.

A massive dragon hovered in the void and roared at the major world, “Who are you?! Bold swine, how dare you swagger through Dragon territory!”

That wasn’t Earth Dragon! Long Xuan immediately sensed what was amiss.

A figure floated up from the world, one with only fifth rank presence. “Long Xuan?” he asked calmly. “Earth Dragon has sworn fealty to Silver Moon. I am Li Hao of Silver Moon!”

WHAT?!

The crowd jerked with shock and incomprehension. Silver Moon?? Silver... Moon?!

Some were aware of this name, others were not. They were all aware of New Martial, however. But Silver Moon...? Not to mention, this person was only fifth rank.

“It’s you guys!” Long Xuan immediately realized and snarled, “How dare you!”

He instantly understood that it was the Silver Moon king and Void. The two bastards must have ambushed Earth Dragon!

“Why hide, Ming Tang?” He looked around with a metallic glint in his eyes. Ming Tang was sure to be around! Wherever Li Hao was, so was the crown prince of Light.

The chaos split open and the power of destruction wafted through the universe. Void walked out with a soft chuckle. “Greetings to the Exalted Emperor Long Xuan. I have changed my name to Void!”

“It really is you guys!” Long Xuan flew into a rage. “How dare you! If it wasn’t for Skyward’s dao universe suddenly opening, Light major world would already be a pile of rubble...”

Void jerked with astonishment when these words sounded. Li Hao blinked as well. He’d been prepared to take action, but paused. His eyes darted around in quick thought. What?

Skyward’s dao universe had opened? How come I don’t know about it??

According to my calculations, it should’ve taken a few more years to activate, even with the various major worlds nurturing it through their dao stars. Why did it happen so quickly?!

“When did this happen?” Li Hao asked reflexively. Naturally, Long Xuan wasn’t inclined to answer him. He struck with great fury!

It has nothing to do with you when it happened! How dare two sniveling wretches intrude on the heartland of Dragon Region! You deserve death!

They might’ve killed Earth Dragon. The two had ambushed Waterpeak to her death back in the day, after all. Earth Dragon wasn’t the sharpest tool in the box, so he might have gone down easily.

But Long Xuan was not Earth Dragon!

“Work together to kill them!” He didn’t dare relax his guard and shouted at the nearby exalted emperors. There were quite a few sixth ranks on the premises. He set his eyes on Void!

Void was a peak sixth rank of six daos of the extremities. Many were aware of this. Word had gotten out after he silenced Skyward that this person could likely fight regular seventh ranks. He was a terrifying personage!

They just needed to kill Void. The Silver Moon king was of no concern whatsoever.

Meanwhile, Li Hao was overjoyed. Skyward’s dao universe had revitalized? That... wasn’t possible, unless it was a trap!

Who was behind it?

No idea. ...New Martial? Maybe?

Whoever it was, it was almost certain that it was fake. That meant that the Dragon master and others would be trapped inside if they entered.

The heavens smile upon me!

No, if New Martial is behind this, then it’s both the heavens smiling upon me and New Martial getting the same idea in mind as me! We’ll do something big together!

This was in accordance with the Human King’s personality. But to Li Hao, this was a massive opportunity.

“The Skyward dao universe is open!” Li Hao shouted, as if confirming this fact, notifying Void, or simply venting his emotions. All of his previous worries had disappeared.

How am I afraid of you guys if the Dragon master doesn’t return?

“Open!” A massive roar shook the world and chaos. Earth Dragon major world collapsed on itself!

A long river hovered in the void and a thousand worlds manifested over it. They blotted out the heavens and seemed to fill the void!

Li Hao snarled, attacking any exalted emperor he saw!

He wasn’t strong, but the surge of dao strength swept over Feng Yan and the rest. Feng Yan was still reeling in shock from Earth Dragon’s death. She paused when she was attacked.

The blow wasn’t serious, but it seemed to have triggered something. The phoenix looked at Li Hao with incredulity. There was a hint of... was that a... dao treaty??

How is that possible?!

We do not know each other, how can there possibly be a connection between us?!

The thought flashed through her mind before a chaos tribulation materialized. A seventh rank tribulation!

She turned her head for a look and nearly crumpled with dismay. Panther excelled at keeping a low profile, so it’d gone wholly unnoticed. It struck with a paw and tore nearby exalted emperors to pieces!

It’d signed no dao treaty and wasn’t worried about a chaos tribulation. On the other hand, Li Hao was used to weathering such occurrences.

The young man undulated his river and summoned the one thousand worlds to attack Feng Yan. That coincidentally restrained some of Phoenix’s dao universe ripples, making it so that the Phoenix master didn’t dare descend.

He wasn’t killing Feng Yan; the Phoenix master wouldn’t take that risk, would she?

There was no time to think about that!

Li Hao rushed for the thunderbolt as soon as the tribulation appeared. A longsword hovered over his hand, turning into a world that caused the collapse of Earth Dragon major world!

Long Xuan sent a mental probe his way when the young man rushed out. It was immediately obliterated by the thunder tribulation. He started with dismay. A seventh rank chaos tribulation... the Silver Moon king was a madman, alright! He often caused chaos tribulations to take place!

Does he want to ascend to sixth rank?

A divine punch of six daos slammed toward his face!

Void stormed the battlefield. There was no need to utilize the world of emptiness today! He just needed to integrate the six daos together to smash the worlds apart with one punch!

He’d never shown this move to anyone prior to this, other than to eradicate Earth Dragon.

Boom!

Draconic bodies were extremely sturdy and stronger than even those of earth dragons, but Long Xuan still backed away when the punch connected. Void wilted in return, but fresh blood flowed from a bloody mark on Long Xuan’s body!

That was incredible!

He knew that these two had killed a seventh rank before, but to breach his physical defenses with one blow was a shocking display of offense!

He suddenly looked around sternly. Long Xuan had just been ready to bring his full force to bear against Void when the thunder and lightning vanished. Where did it go?

He wanted to investigate the surroundings, but Void erupted with motion instead. He let loose with a furious barrage of punches, so dominating that it was like he was the chaos beast and Long Xuan a weak human.

Bam bam bam!

Immense punches rained down on Long Xuan, forcing him to focus on the fight at hand. This guy really does have the strength of a seventh rank when he erupts like this, I can’t think lightly of him!

As for why the tribulation had suddenly vanished, he didn’t have time to wonder about that anymore.

Feng Yan and the others watched on, stunned as Li Hao combined all of his worlds with a grunt. Light flared from the longsword and a burst of destructive force manifested. The sword of destruction swallowed all of the thunderbolts, whereupon the tribulation threatened to decimate all of the worlds.

The power of time rose and froze everything, suppressing the tribulation for a split second!

That was enough.

Li Hao’s presence billowed as he advanced to sixth rank. His one thousand worlds transformed into one domain of destruction. The dense array of worlds made his scalp crawl with numbness.

The sixth ranks paled with horror. How was he so strong?!
