“The Human King jests,” rumbled the Ironeater master. “My race is not related to those guys that only know to eat and sleep...”

Well, fine. Strictly speaking, they were related since they shared some of the same bloodline. But those guys had completely devolved to trash. The Ironeater master refused to be mentioned in the same breath as them.

“Oh, looks like you’re aware of them too. Have you seen them before?” The Human King grinned toothily. “This makes me feel closer to you. Wanna go out and have fun together? When we come back, I’ll hack the Dragon master into two with one blow. In return, how about you give me a ride?”

“......” Ironeater nearly exploded from fury!

This guy was as the rumors made him out to be—arrogant, cocky, and impudent. The human wanted to ride him!

Asshole!

“You’re so cute when you’re angry,” laughed the Human King. “You’re more fun than my panda at home. Panda almost never gets mad unless I steal its fish. You also get dark circles around your eyes when you get mad...”

Ironeater really was about to pop. Despite knowing that he was no match for the Human King, he wanted to duel to the death with the human!

“Alright, alright, I’ll stop joking,” chuckled the Human King. “Wanna go together? Come on if you do. You’re in such a pathetic state that if I see Li Hao once we get out there, I’ll drop you off with him.

“I don’t want to haul a burden around. Didn’t you guys work together last time? That’s great. This kid has quite a strong army now and has a feud with the Dragon master. You might be able to help him once you go to him...”

Ironeater fell silent. This was indeed why he wanted to go to Li Hao. The young man had just killed a large number of chaos beast seventh ranks, after all. That made for a mutual enemy for the two of them.

However, he hesitated before saying, “I made enemies out of some powerhouses in the outer regions earlier on...”

“Powerhouses? How strong?”

“Apparently they have some eighth ranks supporting them...”

“Meh!” The Human King smirked with dismissal. “Who dares bully a giant panda? They’re such pieces of shit. Don’t worry about it. I want to go for a spin after we enter the outer regions. Just tell me which one it is.

“I generally don’t make trouble like this for others, but when I do... heh! I always make sure they know why they’re getting beaten up.

“We’re not going to Li Hao anymore! Tell me who you are enemies with. Let’s find a way to start a fight with them! Having a legitimate excuse for everything is the way I operate!”

“......” Ironeater thought the man was joking, but... the Human King was as serious as could be.

After a long time, the Ironeater master grew shaken by what the human was proposing. “I think they were part of a world called Reincarnation. Apparently there’s multiple eighth ranks on it and the world master is an apex heavyweight among eighth ranks.

“I’m not the one creating trouble. They killed two of my brothers first...”

“That’s even better!” leered the Human King. “I mean, ahem, my condolences! I mean that since the enemy is so evil, we’re all one family as we’re part of the four regions. Killing your brother is killing my brother!

“Reincarnation, is it? Very well, we’ll go and make trouble for him and send him into the cycle of reincarnation!”

“......” Ironeater had no idea what to say anymore. Do you understand what I’m saying or what? It’s not just one eighth rank, but possibly multiple ones!

And they’re all very strong!

He didn’t dare brashly venture into the outer regions mostly because he might come across the other and be executed on the spot. Then that would be the end of his vengeance. But now, the Human King wanted to take the fight to his old enemy?

The subject of such disbelieving thoughts was highly excited. He’d been concerned that it wouldn’t look good for him to provoke someone in the outer regions when no one ran afoul of him. But now, the big panda was giving him a perfect reason.

I’m great at fishing! I’m going to use this big panda as bait and look for a perfect fight!

My internal world has just ascended to eighth rank, so I’ll need to complete it with a large quantity of energy. The panda came at the perfect timing!

As for how strong the opponent might be... that could wait until after their fight!

......

Li Hao was blithely unaware that his reinforcement in the form of the Ironeater master had been intercepted by another. Granted, he wouldn’t have cared if he’d known. It was best to save himself some hassle!

He didn’t like attracting trouble—trouble liked to knock on his door. It was always New Martial causing the trouble and him cleaning up the rear. Just take a look at what happened with Red Moon.

Of course, attacking Dragon Region had been the young man’s own idea. New Martial had been solid enough and didn’t make Li Hao a scapegoat.

Li Hao just felt that the Human King was too rampant and savage. The young man was a simple, honest person who never liked to cause trouble.

For the moment, he didn’t have effort to spare for the monster spirits. He also never had much patience or sympathy for those he wasn’t familiar with.

Whether it was Orchid Forest, Void, or the Thunder master, these were all gentlemen of class and culture. They didn’t stir up trouble, an action that Li Hao hated undertaking. Possibly only the Human King was a fan.

Fog Mountain leaving Skycloud, the Thunder master wanting to kill the Dragon master, and Void eating anything did not conflict with a genteel demeanor. At least, Li Hao thought so.

He’d always felt that he was surrounded by refined people, including Number Two. The cat was better than Big Cat, Panther was more docile than the Heavenly Dog, and the two dao masters didn’t like to scheme as much as the supreme did...

After a brief comparison, Li Hao realized that his people were rare honest souls in the chaos. Each of them were elegant and gentle, as well as well versed in learning. That was why he’d gotten drawn into comparing the two sides like this.

Thunder World.

Li Hao gazed into the distance, as if he sensed something. He couldn’t help but think of someone. The young man grew lost in thought until Void called out to him.

“It might not be that quiet in the outer regions either,” Li Hao sighed softly.

“Are you going to do something big?” Void asked eagerly.

“......” What... does it have to do with me? I’m not the sort to stir up trouble. I’ve always tried to befriend people. Does Brother Void have some misunderstandings about me?

“It has nothing to do with me!” protested a resigned Li Hao. “I just seem to sense very faint hints of the Human King...”

“How is that possible??” Void didn’t believe it for two reasons. He didn’t believe that his friend could sense the Human King. Also, the Human King would not be in the outer regions. He was still at Light major world, protecting that home base!

What a good person he is!

Li Hao sighed and looked at Great Li World not too far away. After he’d sealed this world away, it’d become embedded in Thunder World. A sixth rank world was massive and it didn’t have a big population.

The Star Gate over it sparkled.

It’d been forged by the Human King’s group. Now that Li Hao had left the four regions, logically speaking, he was very far away from the Human King. The Star Gate shouldn’t show any signs of movement. Although the ripples were very weak, why did it feel like the Human King had also emerged from Thunder Region?

The Star Gate had slightly trembled before when the Human King approached Li Hao. It’d been so faint that it was nearly imperceptible. By now, Li Hao could sense a thing or two.

The Human King hadn’t left the four regions, had he?

If he had, then that meant some of Li Hao’s earlier speculations were true. New Martial might be leaving the four regions and Light major world would be abandoned. The Human King might also choose to strike out on his own after his internal world advanced...

It remained to be seen whether the situation developed according to his thoughts. Li Hao simply felt that it was a hard life to encounter someone adept at stirring up trouble.

Please don’t let me run into the Human King... If I do, don’t let anyone know that I’m with the Human King. Now that we’re both in the outer regions, we’re not working together anymore.

“Forget it, let’s set this aside.” Li Hao shoved away his thoughts. “I’m about to head off on a distant journey... Are you going to stay here and converse with everyone, or are you coming with me?”

“Going with you, of course!” Void chuckled. “I think just leaving the Thunder master behind to safeguard this place is enough. He’s an eighth rank and possesses a world and dao universe. So long as he doesn’t try anything wild, even a regular eighth rank won’t be able to break through his defenses. They’ll have to pay a hefty price.

“Therefore, I think it’s safer for the rest of us to leave together.”

“I’m going to comprehend dao, not to kill people and seize worlds,” Li Hao said plaintively.

“It’s all the same.” Void’s attitude was completely different from before. All he felt was that Li Hao was mouthing words that he himself didn’t believe. “What if someone doesn’t want to exchange dao with you? Then we beat it out of them!

“Of course, you Silver Moon martial masters always want a legitimate reason. Chaos powerhouses, however, are incredibly arrogant. A sixth rank like you calling upon them to exchange dao is an act of aggression. They’re sure to respond, which will give you the reason that you need!”

“......” Li Hao smiled ruefully. He didn’t know what to say to that! Why would it turn out that way? I just want to have a conversation...

“Don’t worry, I know you. We’re doing this for justice, to protect justice!” Void was familiar with Li Hao’s habits by now. “Don’t they say that some of the islands sell slaves? That’s an affront to cultivator dignity!

“We can pick a random island to knock around. There’s certain to be powerhouses in residence and some major worlds behind them. Their patrons will come running when we attack them. After a while, all of the outer regions will be filled with enemies!

“We’ll attack whoever we want then! None of them will be innocent!” Void said with great confidence.

“......” Li Hao stared at him. “You’ve been with me all along, not the Human King. Brother Void... have you... gotten turned around somewhere?”

Weird!

They say birds of a feather flock together, I have a bunch of cultured people on my side. Void was that way too before. Why did he change?

Void also looked at Li Hao silently for a while before saying, “Brother Hao Moon, the Human King is only arrogant, brazen, and impulsive on the surface. In actuality, he is prudent, cautious, and dependable.”

Li Hao stared back at him. And?

“As for Brother Hao Moon... you’re just harmless on the surface.” Void hesitated, conflicted over whether or not to finish the thought. Ultimately, he mumbled, “Think about it, brother. So many seventh and eighth ranks have died in the four regions. Who killed most of them?”
