The universe fell silent.

Four eighth ranks and ten seventh ranks had fallen on this day. It’d taken less than half an hour from start to finish to create the most devastating record of loss in the outer regions in the past one million years.

More eighth ranks than imagined had joined the battle.

The worlds were quiet. Everything was quiet.

The Human King, however, curled his lip. Li Hao was expressionless as well. None of them seemed that happy.

In the distance, Long Zhan and Red Moon stood in the void. Long Zhan looked on impassively and snorted coldly. “I have other matters to attend to and shall not participate any longer. Reincarnation, Light will spare your life today! I hope you survive. That will... make things interesting!”

With that, the two eighth ranks vanished from sight. The Reincarnation master stared numbly.

Why pretend even now, Long Zhan?

Reincarnation had lost three eighth ranks and four seventh ranks in one fell swoop. It was an occasion of the worst losses ever since the world had formed. His dream of becoming an overlord of the eastern region shattered in this moment!

It was a massive battle that’d ended in complete shambles. There were too many dead and injured to be counted, but the victors were so dispassionate that it was almost as if they were the losers.

This was a truly rare sight to be found in the chaos.

Li Hao had borrowed the strength of a thunder tribulation and the dao of calamity to enter seventh rank. He’d cut down Earth Yang without too much trouble. After all, so many powerhouses had been helping him that he’d be completely useless if he still hadn’t been able to overcome Earth Yang.

Earth Yang was dead, the Reincarnation master had slunk back to his world. While other worlds might be of a mind to unite together, that would likely be difficult to accomplish at this stage.

Li Hao didn’t think much else. He tossed a world at the Human King.

The man subconsciously caught it and grinned at what he saw. “Paying off your debts?”

Li Hao nodded. The Human King smirked.

“Can Senior Human King return my IOU?” Li Hao smiled.

IOU?

The Human King blinked, then nodded. Thousands of paper slips appeared in front of him. He scanned them one by one and quickly found the relevant one in a corner.

“You don’t need to be in such a rush to return the money,” he chuckled.

Li Hao smiled and glanced at all of the paper slips. Just how many people owe you, huh?

His own slip zoomed to his hand. The young man glanced at it with a gratified look and reduced it to dust. He’d finally paid off his debts.

Ah, wait, he owed one more. He should be just about done after this time.

“New Martial had its eyes on Gemini’s dao universe at first, but...” brought up the young man.

“You guys took it, so it’s naturally yours.” The Human King waved him off. “Whoever kills the world master gets the world. I’ve always been this way! I don’t play by equal distribution or whatever the variant is. Whoever puts forth the effort gets the spoils.

“I killed Drifting Life and the other four seventh ranks, so they’re mine. The rest is yours. Fog Mountain and Void helped me stop Drifting Life for a while and I helped you stop Earth Yang for a bit, so we’re even.”

Simply speaking, you take yours and I take mine. We don’t owe each other anything!

Li Hao smiled and nodded. “Then... I’ll be off to collect Gemini so that nothing else develops!”

“Naturally.” The Human King looked around them. “We did something major this time, so these guys won’t dare piss us off for a bit. But... you should be careful. They’ll definitely try to come after us in a while.

“But that’ll also make things interesting!” The Human King chuckled and looked behind them, to where the Thunder Region and four regions were. He raised a brow and snorted. “That old dragon is nothing good. Who would’ve thought that he’d secretly run out?

“You need to be careful of him. He may not be in a hurry to take me on, but you... He’ll definitely be out for your blood because you’ve killed so many chaos beasts.”

The Human King actually thought it was good that the Dragon master had gotten involved. Regardless, the two of them didn’t share much of a feud. On the other hand, there was a death feud between Li Hao and the Dragon master.

Li Hao had killed one of his wives and a bunch of subordinates. The young man had gone on a massacre in Dragon territory and eradicated worlds. Even if the Dragon master didn’t care about the dead, he needed to give an explanation to his race and chaos beasts at large.

Peace was impossible between the two sides.

Li Hao inclined his head. The Dragon master was an opponent very difficult to handle, but he wasn’t that concerned. He cast a glance behind them as well. The Dragon master was very strong, but he was concerned about a lot of things. He might not be willing to enter a new fight with Li Hao’s side at present.

So although the Dragon master might know that he was leaving an enemy to grow stronger, he still wouldn’t take action. He had his own plans and arrangements in mind, after all, and didn’t wish to be led around by Li Hao.

The Dragon master was a future irritation, but nothing too much to be concerned with.

“Then I’ll be off...” Li Hao raised a cupped fist salute and led his people into the river of time. They made for Gemini major world.

The Human King briefly cleaned up the battlefield and turned merrily to the two Ironeaters. “I’m leaving now...”

The two pandas looked blankly back at him, still frozen with shock. They couldn’t believe that Drifting Life was actually dead and that the Dragon master was so strong. Long Zhan had beaten a premier powerhouse of the outer region so badly that they’d gone back to their home world!

Only now did horror begin to set in. How were they still alive after pitting themselves against the Dragon master?

They were also aghast at how strong and bold these people were. They’d thought that the Ironeaters were crazy enough, but they were a cut below these humans!

Despite sensing that the Reincarnation exalted emperors were coming to help, not a single one of them withdrew. Even Li Hao went on the offensive instead, to bring more fighting to bear. If it hadn’t been for the Dragon master, would these people have engaged the Reincarnation master instead?

Countless thoughts ran through their head and Ironeater opened his mouth to say something.

“There’s no need to come with me,” said the merry Human King. “Reincarnation has shrunk back on himself and won’t chase after you guys for a while.

“You can find a place to roam through if you want to move out by yourself. It will be very dangerous with us. If you don’t want to be alone, you can search for the Thunder master or others of New Martial.”

“Is the Human King... going to leave by yourself?” Ironeater was surprised, but also felt that this was a reasonable outcome.

The Human King nodded. This was a rare excursion out of New Martial! He wasn’t going back yet! This was just the eastern region, he wanted to keep walking around.

Ironeater said nothing else. The Human King waved at them and deposited the bodies of the four seventh ranks and their dao strength.

“This is your share! I’ll take Drifting Life. There’s only dao strength here and no dao universe, so just... make do for now!”

“This won’t do...” Ironeater didn’t have a chance to refuse before the Human King drifted away. Such was his domineering style.

Outside Gemini.

Any exalted emperor that could run away was already gone. Li Hao’s group had killed two seventh ranks and destroyed the world origin.

“Senior Dao Chess, Gemini’s dao universe is yours!”

“You guys...” gasped the shocked dao chess.

“I owe you this!” smiled Li Hao. “I took your eighth rank dao universe before, so I’m returning it to you today. As for the others...” The young man addressed the rest. “We killed six seventh ranks and one eighth rank. They all originate from Gemini, so we’ll crush them all and integrate them back into the dao universe. That will help Senior Dao Chess recover its strength as an eighth rank!”

The dao chess had been a ninth rank imperial weapon based off an eighth rank dao universe. Its strength wasn’t necessarily ninth rank, but it was definitely eighth rank. With a complete Gemini dao universe under its belt and the previous seventh rank dao universe, it wouldn’t have much of an issue returning to peak condition.

As for the others, no one showed signs of ascension. Hence, absorbing the dao strength of a seventh or eighth rank wasn’t much use for them. It wouldn’t be that significant.
