Su Wanyi had a big question mark in her heart; she had no idea where Ye Chen was actually taking her.

Since she was already in the car, she might as well just let Ye Chen decide.

After the car drove for a while, a tall building appeared in front of them.

Ye Chen drove to the entrance of the building and parked the car.

Seeing what Ye Chen was doing, Su Wanyi became even more confused and asked, "Ye Chen, what are you bringing me here for?"

"Nothing, just wanted to show you around," Ye Chen said as he was about to walk in.

"This place isn’t yours, you know. We’ll get kicked out," Su Wanyi kindly reminded him.

Then she sighed and said, "If only I could have a media company like this, that’d be so great."

Actually, Ye Chen had brought Su Wanyi here not because he wanted to go in and have a look, but because he wanted to sound out her thoughts.

"Mm, maybe one day your dream will come true?" Ye Chen said with a smile.

"Forget it, it’s not like we know anything about the entertainment business," Su Wanyi said with a sigh.

Ye Chen opened his mouth, but in the end didn’t say anything. He had to keep his mouth in check and couldn’t tell Su Wanyi everything.

"You’re right," Ye Chen nodded and said.

"Ye Chen, let’s not hang around in front of someone else’s company. Let’s go somewhere else," Su Wanyi said.

Since they weren’t going in, staying here was just a waste of time; they might as well go somewhere else.

"Wanyi, where do you want to go?" Ye Chen asked.

"Let’s go walk around a park," Su Wanyi answered.

Because Su Wanyi didn’t say which park exactly, Ye Chen could only use the navigation to search for nearby parks.

Following the directions, he arrived at a place called Shuixi Park.

Two People parked the car, got out, and walked toward the entrance.

The handsome man and pretty woman walking in the park drew the attention of people around them.

"Daddy, that big brother is so handsome," a little girl on a swing said, pointing in Ye Chen’s direction.

The middle-aged man nodded, agreeing with her.

Because they were very close, Ye Chen and Su Wanyi also heard what the little girl said.

"Wanyi, look, even little girls like you. You’re such a girl Assassin," Su Wanyi said with a laugh.

"Sigh, what on earth are kids thinking about these days," Ye Chen said helplessly.

Two People continued walking inside hand in hand. There was an area in the park designated for children to play.

Ye Chen and Su Wanyi found a place to sit and watched the kids laughing, chasing each other, and playing.

"Ye Chen, look how cute that chubby kid is," Su Wanyi said, pointing at a little fat boy who had fallen to the ground.

After she spoke, she walked over to the little boy. Seeing his tears and snot streaming down his face, she couldn’t help feeling a bit distressed.

Su Wanyi reached out and pulled the boy up, asking, "Did you hurt yourself?"

The little boy shook his head and said, "Thank you, big sister, I’m fine."

Seeing what Su Wanyi did, Ye Chen knew her maternal instincts were overflowing and that she liked children.

When Su Wanyi came back and sat down next to him, he asked with a smile, "Do you like kids that much?"

"Yeah, kids are like little angels—so pure and cute. Sometimes when I’m in a bad mood I’ll come to the park and watch them play, and my mood gets better really fast," Su Wanyi said with a smile.

If she hadn’t said it, Ye Chen really wouldn’t have known that Su Wanyi had this kind of hobby.

"Since you like them so much, how about we have one of our own?" Ye Chen suggested with a grin.

As soon as she heard that, Su Wanyi’s face flushed red. She said shyly, "Who wants to have a baby with you?"

Ye Chen looked aggrieved and said, "If you don’t have one with me, who are you going to have one with?" 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

Seeing Ye Chen’s expression, Su Wanyi couldn’t help but laugh.

Two People sat for a while longer, and suddenly Su Wanyi’s phone rang.

Su Wanyi answered. After just a few words, the call ended.

She looked at Ye Chen and said, "Ye Chen, I can’t keep you company. I have to rush to the company to deal with something."

"What happened? How about I go with you?" Ye Chen asked.

"No need, I can handle it. If I really can’t, I’ll call you," Su Wanyi said with a smile.

Two People walked out of the park and got into the car.

Ye Chen dropped Su Wanyi off at the company entrance and reminded her, "If anything happens, you must call me."

"Don’t worry, Ye Chen, I will," Su Wanyi said as she got out of the car.

Watching Su Wanyi walk into the company, Ye Chen turned the car around and headed home.

He now had to figure out his next step to achieve his goal. After thinking for a long time, he finally had an idea.

By the time he got home it was already evening. He casually made some food, ate, and then lay on the bed playing games.

After playing for a while, he felt a bit sleepy, so he lay down and fell asleep.

During this period, Su Wanyi hadn’t called him once. He was afraid of disturbing her, so he hadn’t called her either.

The next day, sunlight streamed through the window. Ye Chen got up, stretched, and, as usual, washed up, made breakfast, and ate.

After eating, he put on his delivery uniform and went out, riding his electric bike to start a new day.

After delivering one order, Ye Chen didn’t rush to take another; instead, he rode toward Star Media.

He parked at the entrance and walked straight toward the building, but was stopped by security.

"Delivery guy, this isn’t a place you can just walk into," one guard said impatiently.

Looking at the man in front of him, Ye Chen thought to himself that even the security at this kind of company had such dog eyes, looking down on people.

"I’m here to talk business with your boss," Ye Chen said confidently.

The guard acted like he’d heard a joke, clutching his stomach and laughing out loud.

"Are you kidding me? A delivery guy like you wants to talk business with our boss? Aren’t you afraid the wind will twist your tongue right off?" the guard said with a mocking look.

Ye Chen ignored him and still headed inside.

"Are you deaf? You don’t understand what I’m saying?" the guard got angry and yelled.

Just then, a woman in an OL suit and gold-rimmed glasses walked out from the entrance. She snapped, "What are you all yelling about out here? You’re ruining the company’s image. What on earth is going on?"

"Secretary Song, here’s the thing: this delivery guy says he wants to go in and talk business with the boss. Isn’t he obviously joking around?" the guard hurried to explain.

Hearing that, she sized Ye Chen up from head to toe and saw that he was indeed dressed like a delivery guy.

"You want to talk business with our boss—is that true?" the woman in gold-rimmed glasses asked, her face full of doubt.

"That’s right." Ye Chen took a card from his pocket, and when the woman saw it, her expression turned to shock.
