Chapter 430 - 241: Frustrated Chen Jincheng! Something’s Wrong with This Miss Cheng
But he really wasn’t interested in the girl. Even if he was, he wouldn’t dare agree, or the four women in the bathroom would definitely flip out.
Fortunately, however, her knocking on his door had created the perfect opportunity for him to slip away.
But just as he stepped out the door, he heard Cen Ning call out, "Boss!"
Chen Jincheng turned his head in confusion. The girl had already jogged up to him and was pulling him back into the room. "Boss, we finally get a chance to travel. I want to spend the night with you."
Chen Jincheng rolled his eyes.
’No, this is not happening.’
He walked straight to the bathroom and knocked on the door.
Cen Ning had no idea what was happening, but a moment later, the bathroom door opened. Jiang Xiaobai, Yinyin, Ximeng, and Wang Qiqi all filed out, looking thoroughly embarrassed.
Cen Ning opened and closed her mouth, wanting to say something but unable to get the words out.
"All of you, get in here," Chen Jincheng said irritably, just as he spotted Little Maru appear by the door.
Little Maru had just arrived when she heard the irritation in her boss’s voice. The moment she saw the five other women inside, she immediately wanted to flee.
"Little Maru, you get in here too," Chen Jincheng barked.
And just like that, Little Maru could no longer escape. She could only lower her head and step inside. The sight of the other women only confirmed her suspicion that the atmosphere was seriously off.
"All of you, stand up straight," Chen Jincheng ordered, sitting down on the sofa and gesturing at the women.
The women were all startled, but they obediently stood in a row.
They subconsciously glanced at one another, their minds a whirl of different thoughts, before their gazes all settled on Chen Jincheng, full of reproach.
Chen Jincheng, of course, saw their looks and immediately demanded in a self-righteous tone, "Alright, start talking. What are you all doing in my room so late at night?"
His question only made their expressions more resentful. ’As if you don’t know why we came!’
’How dare he ask such a question?’
Of course, Chen Jincheng knew exactly what they were thinking, so he put on an even angrier expression and huffed, "Don’t think I don’t know what’s on your minds. I’m telling you, cut this out. Have you forgotten that I don’t mess around with my own people?"
The five women—Yinyin, Jiang Xiaobai, Cen Ning, Wang Qiqi, and Little Maru—were collectively dumbfounded.
’Shameless! Utterly despicable!’
’How can he say that with a straight face?’
’He doesn’t mess around with his own people?’
’Isn’t he afraid of being struck by lightning for saying that?’
’The most infuriating part is that we can’t even refute him. We just have to stand here and watch him pretend to be a perfect gentleman.’
Then, they all turned to glare resentfully at the women standing next to them.
’It’s because these other women were in such a rush to throw themselves at him! Otherwise, it wouldn’t be this awkward right now!’
Some of them had even thought they were the one and only, that they were the only one he’d been with.
But Chen Jincheng continued, "Let me remind you, don’t try this stuff with me at Second-Life Star. Why can’t you be more like Xiaoju and the others and just keep to yourselves?"
Out in the hallway, Xiaoju was leaning against the wall, gently patting her chest.
’Thank goodness I didn’t walk into the line of fire.’
’These women have no shame, throwing themselves at him like that. Obviously, Cheng isn’t falling for their act.’
With that, she quietly slipped away down the hall.
Seeing the aggrieved expressions on the women’s pretty faces, Chen Jincheng softened his tone to console them. "Okay, okay, I’ll come up with some projects for you."
His words instantly made their faces light up with smiles again.
’He’s actually a good guy after all.’
But then Chen Jincheng added, "So, you need to remember this. Don’t pull this kind of stunt again. I don’t mess around with my own people."
Hearing this, the women couldn’t help but roll their eyes at him.
’Yeah, yeah, right. You *never* mess around.’
"All of you, go back to your own rooms. I have to find Old Xue to discuss something," Chen Jincheng said, not giving them any time to react before he rushed out and headed for the elevator.
Once he was out of the hotel and inside the four-seater sports car he had borrowed from Xue Qian, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
He then followed the location the married teacher had sent him and navigated to the Hyatt Hotel where she was staying.
He didn’t forget to put on a mask before getting out of the car. He entered the hotel, took the elevator up, and knocked on the door of the married teacher’s room.
The door had just opened to reveal the married teacher standing there with a shy blush on her face.
"Chen Tongxue, do I look pretty tonight?" Li Suwan asked, her expression captivating as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Could I even say no?" Chen Jincheng chuckled, closing the door behind them. He then swept the teacher into his arms and carried her further into the room.
He wasn’t in a hurry. Setting her down on the sofa, he sat beside her and asked, "Teacher Li, after I left Ganjiang City, how come I haven’t seen you use the Cyan Silk Dance I left for you? The numbers for the dances you choreographed yourself aren’t that great."
Li Suwan was unexpectedly touched that he had been paying attention to her. "I was planning to save that dance for when I make a push for three million followers. I’m afraid that if I use it and still don’t reach that milestone, I won’t have another good dance project to try again."
Hearing this, Chen Jincheng said with a grin, "Teacher Li, I actually have plenty of projects that would be perfect for you. It all just depends on your performance. During these three nights in Shanya, if you teach your ’class’ well, perhaps I’ll be able to ’come up with’ a new project for you each night."
As soon as Li Suwan heard this, she immediately said, "In that case, Chen Tongxue, let’s start class!"
With that, she got up.
And just as the two of them were starting their "class," Tiao Yin was blowing up. A new topic had appeared on the trending list: "The New Miss Cheng."
By now, many people on Tiao Yin knew what a "Miss Cheng" was. Especially after Chen Jincheng was seen hanging out with Xue Qian earlier today, there was a great deal of focus on him.
Therefore, as soon as "The New Miss Cheng" topic appeared, it attracted a massive amount of attention.
Chen Jincheng’s fans, in particular, were intensely curious.
They all knew about Cheng’s aesthetic standards and that every Miss Cheng was a carefully selected beauty. None of them were ever plain, and none had a bad figure.
Now, Cheng had apparently discovered a new Miss Cheng, and it was already a trending topic. Naturally, everyone was drawn in.
Guo Feng was one of them.
He too had seen the trending news about Cheng hanging out with Xue Qian.
So, when he went to hang out at Extreme Bar with a few friends that night, the first thing he did upon sitting down in their private room was pull out his phone. He wanted to see if there were any new videos about Cheng and Xue Qian. It was truly a rare sight to see those two together—after all, one was a star and the other was an influencer.
However, he didn’t find any new videos of Cheng and Xue Qian. What he didn’t expect to find was news that Cheng had discovered a new Miss Cheng.
And what’s more, the story had already hit the trending list.
This piqued his curiosity.
’I wonder what this Miss Cheng looks like.’ Guo Feng immediately clicked on the topic. A video appeared, and he saw a scene of Cheng on the phone booking a hotel room.
The next moment, a sweet, delicate-looking young woman walked in from off-camera.
This woman, named Xue Qian, had a truly captivating charm. Judging by the video, Cheng was obviously about to use the "casting couch" on her. The key part was that when she heard him suggest going to a hotel room to "discuss the script," she even nodded with a look of deep affection.
’This girl’s got some serious nerve.’
But the more he looked at the woman, the more something felt off.
Suddenly, his eyes widened as if he’d seen a ghost. "Holy shit!"
