Chapter 872 - Fragment Fusion

After experimenting with Gravity Energy for a hundred years, Kyle managed to comprehend a couple of Fragments.

The Fragment of Specialized Gravity was as difficult to comprehend as a Level Three Law, but with his prior experience and his almost unrivaled advantages in Law Comprehension, Kyle needed only ten years to understand the entire thing.

The Fragment of Gravitational Intensity was the easiest one to comprehend. Kyle had already understood the entire thing in just one year, but he kept working on it to make it stronger.

The Fragment of Gravitational Weakening and the Fragment of Gravitational Repelling were as difficult as Level Two Laws to comprehend. Comprehending them took 25 years each.

The next Fragment would be the Fragment of Gravitational Manifestation, which essentially did the same thing as the Fragment of Spatial Manifestation. However, this was as difficult to comprehend as a Level Four Law, and Kyle knew that he wouldn't have enough time. Yet, he spent a couple of years on it anyway. Even though he didn't have the Fragment, he could still Manifest Gravity Energy to a certain extent.

For the remaining time, he focused on improving the aspects of his other Fragments. At the same time, he also included some of his insights into his Law of Black Hole, refining it further.

When the Gravity Comprehension Fruits stopped working, Kyle shoved a Time Comprehension Fruit into his maw.

His perception changed, and he felt like he saw a new world.

"Whoa."

The way Time Energy worked was so strange. It was like it appeared for a moment before disappearing. It didn't change or move like Space Energy or Gravity Energy. Instead, it simply started existing before it stopped existing.

'I guess this is what happens when time moves forward,' he thought. 'From what I know, there's a Fragment of Temporal Reversal, which means reverting time, but it only exists as a Major Fragment. It's probably pretty hard to understand how to reverse time when you can ever only see it move forward.'

'Anyway, I should find out how to create Time Energy.'

Creating Time Energy proved to be far more difficult than Kyle had anticipated. It took him almost two years just to gain the ability to create Time Energy.

Afterward, he focused on the easiest Fragment, the Fragment of Temporal Increase. This Fragment allowed someone to speed up an entity's personal time.

Understanding the Fragment wasn't hard, but since it was so weak, it also wouldn't help Kyle a lot. The amount of Energy he would need to speed up his personal time by just 10% was insane. It was far smarter to not use it at all.

Afterward, Kyle focused on the Fragment of Temporal Decrease, which was slowing time for an entity. If the Fragment of Temporal Increase was a buff, the Fragment of Temporal Decrease was a debuff. The reason why it was harder to comprehend was that one needed the power to affect a resisting entity. Kyle didn't resist when he tried to increase the speed of his time, but an enemy would resist when he tried to decrease the speed of their time.

The next Fragment was the Fragment of Temporal Distortion. It was as difficult to comprehend as a Level Three Law. Using it would distort an enemy's time. Parts of their bodies would move more slowly, while other parts moved faster. Depending on the quality of the enemy, this effect could make them helpless or significantly affect their concentration. Powerful enemies could adapt to the shifting time, but they would need to micro-manage all of their movements.

When Kyle comprehended the Fragment of Temporal Distortion, he only had 50 years left. There was no way he could comprehend the next Fragment, which was the Fragment of Temporal Freezing. However, he still spent a couple of years gaining insights into the Fragment before focusing on strengthening the other Fragments.

Finally, the last Comprehension Fruit stopped working. It had been 300 years since he had become a Legendary Crusher, which meant that he only had 1,600 years left to work on his power.

As Kyle thought about all the Fragments he knew, he came up with a plan.

He would fuse all Fragments from Level One to Level Three.

Sadly, there was one outlier, the Fragment of Spatial Connection. He hadn't been able to comprehend that one back then.

After asking Sebastian for Contribution Points, Kyle got one Space Comprehension Fruit. However, before he consumed it, he also asked the Lord for advice. How was he supposed to connect two spots in time? Naturally, Kyle needed to learn the Fragment of Spatial Connection himself, but he still wanted to know how he should experiment.

The Lord gave him some tips, and Kyle finally found a way to experiment with connecting spatial points.

He consumed the Space Comprehension Fruit, and about 40 years later, he finally understood the Fragment of Spatial Connection. For the remainder of the fruit's duration, Kyle tried to incorporate parts of the Fragments of Space into his Law of Black Hole.

Then, it was time to fuse the Fragments into a Law, which he would then infuse into his Soul.

Even though the Fragments were as difficult to comprehend as entire Laws, they didn't have the power of an equivalent Law. They were only Fragments, and without an overarching framework, combining them wouldn't produce an amazing result.

Conversion of Worlds had combined all the Fragments of all three categories from Level One to Level Four, and he had only created a Level Five Complex Law. If one were to combine all the Laws of Wind, Fire, and Metal up to Level Four, one could create a Level 5.5 Law. Yet, Conversion of Worlds had only created a Level Five Law. ๐’‡๐’“๐™š๐’†๐”€๐“ฎ๐“ซ๐’๐“ธ๐™ซ๐“ฎ๐“ต.๐“ฌ๐™ค๐™ข

Kyle wouldn't be able to create a Level Five Law with these Fragments. He wouldn't even get close.

As he looked at his Fragments, he took a deep breath. 'Okay, I somehow have to find a way to combine a bunch of disjointed Fragments.'

'Spatial Compression, Spatial Expansion, Spatial Stasis, Spatial Connection, Temporal Increase, Temporal Decrease, Temporal Distortion, Gravitational Intensity, Gravitational Weakening, Gravitational Repelling, and Specialized Gravity.'

While Kyle focused on his Law Comprehension, time in the outside world passed rapidly.

Sebastian went in and out of the Elemental Dimension. He was still focusing on the Major Law of Lightning, but he was nowhere close to comprehending it. He had already spent centuries on it, and he was not even 5% there.

The Secondary Sectors continued operating, and Kyle's friends tried their best to become Legendary Crushers.

Centuries passed.

Kyle kept comprehending.

More centuries passed.

Finally, after over a thousand years of comprehension, Kyle managed to fuse the Fragments into a Complex Law.

It just barely reached the quality of a Level Four Law.

The hardest part was done. While infusing a Fused Essence was not easy, this was not an Essence. The Essences of Fragments of different categories couldn't be fused since they didn't fit together. They needed an overarching framework. Because of that, Kyle needed to create an External Complex Law.

While infusing an External Complex Law wasn't nearly as good as infusing an Essence, the process of infusing it was also way easier. Kyle needed a long time to infuse his Center and body, but infusing his mind hadn't taken a long time. Infusing his Soul also wouldn't take long.

Infusing a Soul was considered impossible, but only if one didn't have an Infused Mind beforehand. After creating an Infused Mind Law, creating an Infused Soul Law would still be difficult, but not impossible.

As Kyle started the process of infusing his Soul, his Communicator received a message. One of his friends had agreed and was waiting in a remote location.

It was a tall Sage with a spear.

Fierce Breaker.

Had he managed to become a Legendary Crusher before advancing?

Yes.

Had he accepted Kyle's invitation?

Yes.
