"There is a chance," Manny answered. "To be honest, if it were anyone else, I would be quite angry, but you might actually pull this off."

Then, a wisp from Manny arrived. It asked about Kyle's current power and confidence.

"I want you to be honest with the answer," Manny transmitted via the relay. "This might take some of the surprise out of your reveal, but it's necessary."

"Sure," Kyle transmitted before creating a wisp that talked about his power.

When Manny saw the wisp, his brows rose in surprise. He had planned to act surprised in case anyone watched, but when he actually saw the information in the wisp, he was actually surprised.

"You have all four Major Laws of the Aspects already?" he asked via the wisp.

"Yes," Kyle answered with a wisp. "I also know all of the Elemental Level One and Level Two Laws, but if I want to go even further, I also need the Level Three Laws. Do you know where I can find Law Wells for Level Three Laws?"

"I've recently joined Humanity as a Lieutenant General," Manny answered with a wisp. "I can ask one of my contacts. Give me a couple of minutes."

"Sounds good," Kyle answered. "If I get access to them, I'm confident that I can push my Battle-Strength to insane levels."

"I believe you, but let's wait for a moment. I'm currently talking to one of the Generals. She's one of the people who gave up all hope. She isn't showing it, but it's more than clear to me."

A second passed.

"Unsurprisingly, she's very defensive and hesitant," Manny transmitted via the relay. "I already know that she wants to give you access, but in order to keep up appearances, she has to act like she's not fully trusting us. She already knows what I've sent you, but she has to act like she doesn't know about it."

A second passed.

"Okay, I have some bad news," Manny transmitted via the relay. "One of two things is true, and both of them are bad. Your wisp contained nothing about any insights into the Laws of Karmic Luck. Have you made considerable progress in the Laws of Karmic Luck?"

Kyle hadn't mentioned his Karmic Luck since it had no bearing on his Battle-Strength.

"Yes, I've learned a lot about it. I can hide my negative Karmic Luck now by emulating the mindset of a Mortal."

"That means you're being watched," Manny transmitted via the relay. "The General just told me that she couldn't give someone with a True Sin Aura access to the Level Three Law Wells. She reasons that your bad luck might destroy one of them, but after I pushed a bit more, she said that it would be fine if you could hide your True Sin Aura with the Laws of Karmic Luck."

"That sentence doesn't make a lot of sense since hiding your negative Karmic Luck doesn't get rid of its effects. This hypothetical danger to the Law Well would not lessen. So, either she really doesn't want you to comprehend Laws, or she knows about your progress in the Laws of Karmic Luck and just wants to act like she's trying to stop you. I'm 95% sure that someone is watching you secretly."

On the outside, Kyle was just impatiently waiting for the next wisp, but inside, Kyle felt more nervous.

He felt like some kind of person was looking at him, but he couldn't act like he knew.

Eventually, Manny's wisp arrived, telling Kyle about the General's words.

Kyle looked at the wisp, smirked, and sent an answer.

Manny and Kyle sent a couple of wisps back and forth before Manny went to the General again.

"She wants proof," Manny transmitted with the wisp. "You are supposed to travel to Headquarters 14 and meet her. When you arrive, I will escort you."

The wisp also contained the coordinates of Headquarters 14.

Kyle scratched the back of his head before sending an affirmative answer via the wisp.

"I know that you only want to help Humanity, but they don't know that," Manny transmitted via another wisp. "Try to be understanding of their circumstances."

For a moment, Kyle was a bit confused about the contents of the wisp since they felt disjointed from their earlier conversation, but then he remembered that Manny was essentially just faking a conversation.

Kyle sent a wisp with minor information and got another wisp as an answer, which just said that Manny was glad that Kyle could understand.

"This feels so weird," Kyle thought. "Luckily, Manny's dealing with all the fake conversations. Would suck if I had to manage so many personalities."

"By the way, I forgot to tell you something. I have a surprise for you when you get here."

"What surprise?" Kyle asked via wisp and relay.

"If I were to tell you, it wouldn't be a surprise," Manny answered.

"We can definitely find a way," Manny transmitted via the relay. "Even if Humanity refuses, we can get you your Law Wells."

"Sounds good," Kyle answered. "If I get access to them, I'm confident that I can push my Battle-Strength to insane levels."

"If I were to tell you, it wouldn't be a surprise," Manny answered via wisp and relay.

"So, it's an actual surprise," Kyle thought, getting interested. "Wonder what this is about."

Kyle left his isolated place while sending wisps to the others as well. After all, he wasn't supposed to know that almost all of them were busy.

The group exchanged several wisps, talking about things they had already talked about via relay. The only difference was that some of the wording was different, and that some information was missing.

Kyle kept teleporting for some time while communicating with his companions via wisp. It was important to make it seem like this was their primary way of communicating.

"Keep in mind that I'm changing the wording of almost every message," Manny transmitted via relay. "The words you've read are not truly theirs."

"I know," Kyle answered as he entered a meaningless discussion with Swamp Dragon via wisp.

After a lot of talking, Kyle finally arrived at Headquarters 14.
