Strongest Hammer God
Chapter 953: Colors
Kyle focused on the Law of Minor Water and wasn't disturbed for the entire duration. Comprehending the Law was a bit harder than comprehending the Law of Minor Earth. In total, he spent around 350 years on the Law of Minor Water, but that was to be expected.
BOOOOM!
Kyle felt understanding filling his mind as he comprehended the Law of Minor Water.
'It's most similar to the Law of Minor Wind. I guess that's because water and wind are both fluids. They both move similarly.'
When he was done, he simply sat up from his spot and left. He hadn't bought the spot, which was why he also didn't want to sell it. He had simply paid the regular fee.
Without waiting another second, Kyle went to the next Law Well. Star Genesis didn't follow him since she wasn't even close to his location. She still needed to supervise Kyle, but she didn't need to be close to him. As long as he was still within her Energy Sense, it was fine. Star Genesis had let some time ago to focus on some more important experiments that involved the Spacetime Metals Kyle had given her.
Kyle's next stop was the Law Well for the Law of Minor Lightning. The Law Well looked similar to the other ones, except that there were no pits, but high platforms. These platforms were closer to the stormy clouds above, and they attracted the lightning to them.
The constant explosive sounds of lightning striking the ground made the Law Well more intimidating than the other two, but in terms of total power, they were not different. Level Three Laws were pretty powerful, and if one didn't pay attention, even a Crusher could be killed by them. π³πΏππππ²ππ»ππππ₯.ππ π
Luckily, everyone here was a Sage. If they carelessly stepped into the wrong part of the Law Well, the Law Well would be in more danger than the Seeker.
"Sir, you can have this platform," a person from the Tribes transmitted to Kyle.
Kyle looked over, but he didn't recognize the person. It was just a young woman with silver hair who was looking respectfully at Kyle.
"It's fine," Kyle answered. "I can pay for my own spot. You don't need to give me yours."
"Please, sir," the young woman said with a genuine smile. "The Ulvin Family insists. We have heard of you, and the Ulvin Family wishes to give you but a small drop in exchange for the ocean you have given Ayuvar. We are all working for the survival of the next generation, and we believe that helping you is the right thing to do. Please, do not refuse."
Kyle declined again, but eventually, he relented and stepped onto the platform.
"This is so strange," he thought. "Everyone is begging me to accept their money. This makes me feel like there's something sinister going on or that there's some kind of hidden purpose, but that's simply not the case."
"They genuinely just want to repay me," he thought with a sigh. "It's just that I feel like I'm taking advantage of them. It's not like I've consciously chosen to condense a True Sin Aura to help Humanity. I've already had this True Sin Aura when I arrived. I was just making use of something I already had."
"I didn't sacrifice myself for Humanity. I didn't condense a True Sin Aura for them. In fact, I could be doing a lot more. A Sage has 40,000 years of longevity, and I've worked for less than 2,000 years. In terms of work, I haven't contributed as much as half of all Sages in Ayuvar."
"Well, it doesn't matter. This is the situation, and I should accept it."
Kyle snorted with a bit of ironic amusement.
"I'm complaining about receiving free stuff. I never thought that I would one day turn into such a person. On Earth, I took whatever I got. Funny how time and a change in environment change people."
As Kyle felt the lightning hitting his body, concepts and familiarity filled his mind.
Lightning is similar to fire in the way it affects a target, but the way it moves is unique. It doesn't move like any of the other Elements. The other Elements all move in a direction until they eventually hit something. Lightning, on the other hand, has a specific goal. It knows where it wants to go.
Kyle lost himself in the Law of Minor Lightning and looked at all the different aspects of it. Once again, he wasn't disturbed by anyone. In fact, he hadn't even received any trade offers for his platform, which was a bit strange.
For a moment, Kyle glanced at the other people inside the Law Well. As he looked at them, a certain feeling of support entered his mind. Every individual had an aura, but if there were several individuals in close proximity, the surroundings could also have an aura. One could also call it the mood or atmosphere in a room.
His Energy Sense defocused and perceived the Law as a whole. For some reason, Kyle felt like this was worth the distraction from the Law of Minor Lightning.
In Kyle's perception, the Law Well started to become more chaotic, even though nothing was really changing. Small dots of different colors chaotically moved through the air, appearing and disappearing in random spots.
There were many different colors the dots could have.
Green, red, purple, grey, yellow, brown, black, orange, light green, dark red, dark green.
As Kyle focused on the dots, he noticed that his own Karmic Lines slightly started to change color. For just a moment, he could see the old colors of his Karmic Lines changing. The colors became more or less pronounced, based on the person they were connected to.
Yet, as soon as Kyle actively noticed the changes, everything returned to normal.
The old colors were back, and the chaotic storm of colors in the Law Well had also vanished.
No matter how hard Kyle tried, he couldn't summon the complex mix of colors again.
However, he also didn't mind and returned to his Law Comprehension. The Laws of Karmic Luck are not like the other Laws. One can't just look at them and study them. Other Laws are understood by experimenting with them and making logical conclusions based on the results. They are all Laws that exist in physical reality in some form or another.
"I'm not sure if the Laws of Karmic Luck also exist in physical reality in the same sense. They definitely do exist, but they are more ethereal than the Laws of Primordial Forces. One moment, they are there, and then they're gone."
"Don't force it. Just take this short moment and remember the feeling. If you're lucky, you might get another opportunity. It was also like this when I saw Karmic Lines for the first time. They also vanished very quickly."
Kyle closed his eyes and calmed his mind.
He accepted the opportunity he had just received and didn't force it. Instead, he just focused on the Law of Minor Lightning again.
Comprehending the Law of Minor Lightning was about as difficult as comprehending the Law of Minor Water, taking Kyle another 350 years.
BOOOOM!
Kyle's mind was filled with understanding as he comprehended the Law of Minor Lightning.
"Two more to go," he thought as he left the platform without selling it.
As he left the Law Well, a Sect Member quickly took Kyle's spot, and for just a tiny moment...
Kyle felt like he had seen a light green dot.
The author's patreon. If he gets more than 1000 per month, he will increase the number of words in the chapter.
