Strongest Mage with the Lust system
Chapter 951: What A Waste
Monarch Xuno looked at him, his expression terrifyingly calm. He then turned around, took a step and disappeared from the place.
Yagui raised his head, looking confused, frustrated and disappointed. The others also had same expressions. Evidently, everyone wanted to take revenge, not able to endure the humiliation Beast Emperor Hall had inflicted upon their illustrious family.
Right then, Monarch Xuno’s voice sounded. "Return only when Malta City is destroyed."
Everyone’s eyes lit up and their auras fluctuated out of excitement.
"Yes, Patriarch." Everyone shouted and then zoomed into the direction of Malta City, disappearing on the horizon a few moments later.
Half a minute later, one after another, several people revealed themselves as they swept their gazes across the blood-washed ruins of the Xuno estate.
"Has the Beast Emperor Hall really gone mad? Are they not afraid of getting destroyed sooner than their determined time?" someone commented.
"Perhaps it’s because they know they are going to be destroyed soon, they are trying to inflict some damage to our forces."
"That makes sense, but how foolish it is. They should have enjoyed their remaining days in peace."
"I can’t wait for the coalition to take action. I want to spill these mad dogs’ blood."
These people, who were the spies from the coalition powers, conversed, their words filled with disdain and anger for the Beast Emperor Hall.
Suddenly a voice sounded that sent shivers down their spines.
"Oh, you are the blood bugs of the coalition?"
The voice wasn’t unfamiliar to them as they had heard it just a short while ago. However, even if they hadn’t heard it earlier, they would have still recognised the owner of this voice because there was only one person in this portion of central plains that called people ’Blood Bugs’ and it was none other than Lady Bloodflower or more commonly called bloodthirsty queen—Sanya.
Swoosh!
Without saying anything or wasting even a split second, everyone started running away—those who had instant teleportation talisman didn’t hesitate to activate them and those who had any other trump cards, they used them without hesitation.
As for those who didn’t possess such a trump card, blood drained from their places and despair welled up in their hearts. Still, they didn’t give in and went ahead and did one thing they could to run faster—they burned their cultivation.
Unfortunately for them...
"Why the rush? Didn’t you want to spill the blood of Beast Emperor Hall’s people? Go ahead, give it a try. I swear I won’t defend."
Sanya’s voice sounded and her aura pressed down on everyone, freezing them in place and disabling their life-saving trump cards.
Most of these people were king mages, just a few of them were early-stage emperors. Under the oppression of her aura, they couldn’t even move a muscle, let alone attack her.
They wanted to drop to their knees and beg for mercy, but they couldn’t do it either which filled them with immense fear—they knew they were about to get slaughtered.
Proving their fears right, Sanya stared at them with her hands behind her back, seemingly waiting for them to attack. When they did not, she frowned in disappointment, "You aren’t going to take the opportunity to kill me? Alright, I can only kill you then."
She sighed and...
Bang! Bang! Bang!
One after another, everyone exploded into blood-mist. The scene was very spine-chilling and nightmare inducing.
Hu!
She opened her mouth and inhaled softly, sucking all the blood mist.
Then she smacked her lips and glanced at the blood and mangled corpses strewn across the Xuno Estate and couldn’t help but wrinkle her brows and murmur, "What a waste!"
She stayed there for a moment and glanced in a direction, her lips curling up. "Wanna fight?"
There was no response.
"Heh. Just what gives you cowards courage to target my Beast Emperor Hall." she spat in disdain and left, her sensual waist swaying beautifully as she walked away.
Invisible to the naked eye, a man and a woman were standing in the place Sanya had looked at. Both of them were Monarchs and were the leaders of their respective forces in coalition.
The woman who had an expression so calm that it seemed it wouldn’t change no matter what happened was Lady Basel and the man was Monarch Umbra.
Unlike Lady Basel, he had a dark look on his face. He was a mighty Emperor, how could Sanya’s disdain and mockery not anger him?
Unfortunately, he was in the same camp as Lady Basel as he also didn’t want to entangle with the Beast Emperor Hall before they were fully prepared. Thus, he had no choice but to endure.
"We should hurry." Lady Basel suddenly said after Sanya had disappeared.
Monarch Umbra was slightly surprised but then he nodded in agreement, "Indeed. I don’t want to endure their bravado anymore."
Lady Basel nodded, a hint of murderous intent flashing in the depths of her starry eyes.
The next moment, she disappeared, leaving Monarch Umbra, who was about to say something, standing there awkwardly.
His eyes flickered with several emotions before he sighed helplessly and also left.
...
Several hundred miles away, Sanya was leisurely flying when a figure of a beautiful black-clad woman silently materialised beside her.
Sanya glanced at her but didn’t say anything.
"You were very reckless just now." The woman, Disciplinary Hall Master, Valerie, said after a moment.
"You think they could have stopped me if I wanted to leave?" Sanya asked, her tone a hint colder than usual.
Valerie sighed, knowing her rejection to help replenish the Library’s Comprehension Room’s Law and thereby declining the opportunity to mend her relationship with Grand Elder Rowan had hurt her even though she had explained her reasoning to her.
This was why she wasn’t willing to listen to her.
"No, I don’t think so." She said, "However, if they had attacked, you would have gotten injured, especially since you have yet to completely heal from the injuries Grimheart gave you."
Sanya snorted,"It doesn’t affect my combat prowess."
Valerie looked at her and asked with a serious look on her face, "Are you really going to act like this?"
Sanya pursed her lips, then clicked her tongue, "Alright. Now put that look away."
Valerie nodded and her expression returned to normal. She then asked, "Do you think they will be able to evacuate before the Xuno family reaches Malta City?"
"I’m not sure." Said Sanya after thinking for a moment and this made Valerie frown.
"Zen family has always been loyal to the Hall. Why would you put them at risk?" Her voice had a hint of anger and disappointment.
"Senior Sister..."
Swoosh!
Before Sanya could respond, Valerie took out a Jade Talisman and crushed it, disappearing from the place.
Sanya stopped in place for a few moments, then she shook her head and murmured before leaving, "You aren’t decisive enough, senior sister."
In her opinion, she hadn’t done anything wrong. When the attack on the Xuno Estate began, she had alerted both the Zen family and Roman family which watched over the second city still under Beast Emperor Hall’s control.
If they weren’t able to escape in time, it was their fault.
