Every single time Jason appeared on the news, he was in some new country meeting with a president or a head of state, and the entire family realised that Jason had become influential enough to rub shoulders with the elites of the world!

But the thing that scared the family the most at the moment was the pressure they could feel flowing off Jason! Gina’s pressure was intense, but there was something instinctually terrifying about what they could feel from Jason! Gina’s pressure had the feeling of someone with extraordinary power, and many of the family could withstand it since it wasn’t different from what they felt from other superhumans, but Jason’s pressure was different! Thanks to his Vympir gene, Jason had the aura of a predator, and there wasn’t a single human who wouldn’t feel their hearts race just from standing in front of him! Some of the younger children moved to hide behind their parents’ legs once they saw Jason, and even the parents felt like hiding as well! But Jason ignored all the terrified looks, and he spread his hand out towards Gina’s mother.

"Hey, aunty."

Bett felt her eyes widen when Jason called her that, and she almost slapped herself! How could she be afraid of someone like Jason!? Bett moved forward quickly, and she gave Jason a deep hug with a happy laugh!

"Welcome home, darling! Oh my, I missed this handsome face so much! Look how tall you’ve grown! I’ve been seeing you all over the news lately! You’ve been travelling a lot, haven’t you? Are you even getting any sleep at all?"

Jason laughed as Bett ran her hand across the dark circles under his eyes, and Jason turned and gave Jonas a strong handshake when the man came over with a smile!

"Good to see you again, son. I can tell you’ve been really busy these last few months. Let’s talk all about it over some beer later."

Jason grinned and nodded when Jonas said that, and it was almost like Bett’s and Jonas’ actions gave the other family members some confidence, and they all moved forward while smiling to greet Jason as well! Gina was an only child in the family, but she had so many aunts, uncles, and cousins that every family gathering was like a mini festival. Jason greeted many of the older uncles and aunts, and he ruffled the hair of some of the young boys who were brave enough to come up to him. Jason had already gotten used to people being scared of him because of his Vympir gene, so he didn’t blame the family for their initial reactions. Once their greeting was complete, the entire family was piled into multiple pickup trucks as they headed home. Jason was sitting at the back of one of the trucks with Gina beside him, and he enjoyed the feeling of the breeze on his face as they drove through the streets.

"Holy shit, it’s him! Baby, it’s Jason Marc! Look!"

"Jason Marc is over there! It’s really him!"

"Well, I’ll be! Where do you reckon he’s going!? How’s about we follow them! Grab the car keys!"

"Look at all those escorts! He’s like a president!"

As they passed through the Texas streets, Jason could hear the civilians yelling his name and asking him to look at them, and there were some who even followed after their car with cameras! The Fey family wasn’t used to this, and Jason could tell that some of them were nervous about the attention, but thankfully, the SHT were present, and the Troopers prevented anyone from getting too close to Jason or his family. Jason’s mind travelled towards Hesabeth and Riyala, and Jason wondered what both of them were up to. Gina had invited the two queens to come with her to her parents’ place, but unfortunately, neither of them could make it since they had a lot of work piled up from the time they were away from their worlds. Hesabeth left Minori for more than a month, and there was paperwork and delegations from both her world and all the other worlds in her domain that she needed to handle! Hesabeth might be the favourite child of the Primordial Expanse, but not even she could escape from paperwork.

Riyala, on the other hand, needed to begin facilitating the trade routes that would help them move their Dragonstone out of the Sixth Domain and into the Seventh Domain, and she would be busy with that for a few weeks at least. It was unfortunate that they wouldn’t be able to meet the extended family, but they just couldn’t avoid their responsibilities anymore. Gina was sitting beside Jason while talking to some of her teenage cousins, and Jason leaned over to kiss the top of her head with a smile. Gina’s cheeks reddened slightly as the girls in the group made a teasing noise, and she snuggled into Jason’s side before telling the girls to shut up.

Thanks to the Troopers, the family didn’t run into any trouble on their journey, and it wasn’t long before they reached the large ranch where Gina’s parents lived. The Fey ranch was located on a thousand-acre land with a large house and a barn. Jason could see a large area where the family reared all sorts of livestock, and another area that was used as a farm. The main house was located far enough from the barn that you would need to drive for about five minutes to reach it, and there was a wide open space just in front of the house where they were going to be holding the picnic. Once Jason got out of the car, he turned to see multiple teenage girls and boys standing at the entrance looking at him and Gina with awe in their eyes. These were the teenage children who had been left behind to take care of the preparations for the picnic, and Jason recognized some of them as friends he used to play with when they were little. But right now, those same friends were looking at him like he was a totally different person, and Jason realised that even though he was still only eighteen, he was no longer seen as one of their peers.

"Gina! Gina, you’re back!"

Jason heard a loud voice before a short girl who looked around sixteen ran out of the house in excitement! The girl was wearing a pinup one-piece, and she had a rough appearance with a missing tooth that made her look like the quintessential tomboy! The girl’s name was Fio, and she had long red hair and deep red eyes just like Gina! Fio ran forward with a wide smile, and she jumped into Gina’s hands with a loud laugh! Gina swung her cousin around happily, and Fio cried out!

"I missed you so much, Gina!"

"I missed you too, Fio!"

Gina finally put Fio down after a few seconds, and Fio still had her wide grin as she started to rant to Gina about all the things she had heard from the news and on the internet!

"I heard you went into another world, and you fought against dragons! And someone said you’ve been travelling around different worlds lately! That’s so cool! And your magic is so strong! What happened!? Tell me everything! I want to know what happened! Is it true you-"

Gina chuckled at the extreme adoration from her little cousin, and Gina tried to calm her down! Fio was the child of Gina’s aunt and uncle, and right from when she was just a little girl, Fio had idolized Gina and looked up to her! Fio was also a superhuman, but unlike Gina, who awakened as a D Rank, Fio had awakened as an F Rank, and she didn’t have a powerful gift that would allow her to survive against monsters in the Gate. Fio had gone to Core City just like every other superhuman her age, but after she got back, she decided that she wouldn’t join a guild and become a superhuman. Instead, Fio would just work on the farm to help her parents.
