’Just how strong are these monsters?’

Stragga was already an SSS Rank, and he was the closest to becoming a TITAN Rank amongst all the superhumans on Earth! If Stragga’s attack wasn’t doing any damage, then Stragga knew that the other superhumans wouldn’t stand a chance! The Machina suddenly charged after Stragga again, and Stragga quickly activated an artefact bracelet on his wrist! The artefact allowed Stragga to boost his fire output by two hundred percent, and he put his hand out towards the Machina and unleashed all his mana in one massive attack!

KA-BOOM!

The sky lit up in red flames, and Stragga didn’t bother waiting to see if the attack had worked as he turned around and flew away from the Machina!

DOON!

But Stragga felt fear shoot through his body when he felt a surge of power rising from behind him, and Stragga immediately knew that it was from the Machina! The Machina pointed her cannon blaster at Stragga and fired, but Stragga quickly dodged to the side when he felt the heat coming from behind him! The cannon blast slammed into a building in the distance, and Stragga cursed when he saw that the building was coming down! There were people in there!

"The high-rise building falling on Eastern Avenue has people in it! Someone evacuate them! I’ll try to hold the Machina back!"

Stragga shouted into his comm as he turned around and shot his hand forward to unleash another attack! The Machina pointed her cannon blaster at Stragga with a maniacal smile on her face as she prepared to finally kill him, but everyone suddenly stopped as an oppressive power fell over the region! Stragga turned sharply as he recognized the unbelievable power, and Stragga saw The Sovereign standing on a building a few blocks away from them! The Sovereign pulled his large sword back, and Stragga immediately realised that he needed to get out of there! Stragga deactivated his mana, and the Machina was shocked when Stragga fell from the sky! The Machina frowned in annoyance as she decided to ignore Stragga, and she turned her cannon blaster towards the Sovereign!

TWOOM!

The Machina unleashed her attack, and The Sovereign slammed his feet down before slashing his sword across the air in a perfect vertical cut! A wave of superheated fire split the world in half!

Shink!

The Machina didn’t even understand what had happened! At one moment, her cannon blast had been flying towards the Sovereign, but in the next moment, her blast had been split in two, and a black line separated her vision! The Machina’s body began to fall in two halves as the Soverign’s attack cut her from head to toe, and she was dead before she hit the floor!

ROARRR!

A loud roar came from the sky as one of the Bishop Rank dragons raced towards another Machina on the opposite side of the city! The dragon was chasing a Machina that was flying quickly across the air, and the Machina was dodging the dragon’s fire while unleashing attacks to destroy as much of the city as possible! The Machina fired his cannon blasters towards two large shopping complexes, and the people inside all screamed as the building began to come down! The dragon flew past the buildings without bothering to stop to help because the dragon knew that superhumans would take care of the survivors, and the dragon reared its head back as it activated a Legion Skill!

[Mana Blast]!

ROARRRR!!

The dragon unleashed a blast of pure mana that flew through the air faster than the Machina could react, and the Machina cursed as he was engulfed in the attack! The dragon continued the attack until it was sure that the Machina was no longer moving, and once the dragon deactivated the attack, the Machina’s burnt and mangled body fell from the sky and slammed into the ground!

This same scene was playing out across various major countries in the world! In Japan, the Machina had already caused significant damage to three large cities! In Germany, the Machina were tearing through the capital city, and the German forces were completely helpless against the Machina’s unimaginable strength! The same situation was also occurring in other major countries like Spain, Canada, France, and even America! The Machina were doing their best to cause as much destruction as possible to these countries, and even though the superhumans were doing everything they could to hold the Machina back, the superhumans were just no match for the superior Machina!

The Machina soldiers easily killed and defeated any superhuman that tried to attack them, and it was only after Jason’s subordinates joined the fight that things would start to tilt in favour of the superhumans, and the Machina would be defeated! The weaker superhumans who didn’t stand any chance at all of fighting against the Machina were on the ground, trying their best to carry out an evacuation of all the regular humans stuck in the buildings! The Machina were firing their lasers and destroying buildings with reckless abandon, so the humans had to be evacuated very quickly so they wouldn’t be crushed!

In the heart of France, five Machina soldiers were flying around randomly, and they were being chased by Jason’s subordinates. One of the Machina, a tough-looking woman with a hard face, looked behind her with a fearful expression as she felt dread fill her heart! The subordinate that was chasing after her was the TITAN Rank II Skrill, and even though the Machina woman had dedicated her life to completing this mission, it was impossible for her not to feel fear when faced with such a dangerous beast!

SCREECH!

The Skrill let out a massive cry once it got close enough to the Machina, and the Machina felt her eardrums burst from the sonic attack! The Machina was thrown through the air, and she slammed into the building as all the glass windows around her burst from the sonic wave! Inside the building, there were many civilians who screamed in fright once they saw the Machina woman appear! The Machina raised her weapon and pointed it towards the largest group of humans with a look of fury on her face, but before she could attack, another Machina appeared from the side and unleashed a cannon blast that threw the Machina woman back through the wall of the building! The Machina woman began to fall with a look of shock on her face, and for a moment she thought that one of her own people had betrayed her, but then she realised that this was just another one of Jason’s subordinates and she raised her cannon blaster towards the Legion Machina and fired!!

SCREECH!

The Skrill swooped in from the air and grabbed the Machina woman before she could unleash her attack, and the Skrill sliced her in two using its sharp beak! The Skrill glided across the sky as it glanced out across the city to see how much damage had been done, before it finally changed course and moved towards the Eiffel Tower on the other side of the city! The Skrill landed beside a man standing on top of the Eiffel Tower and overlooking the city, and the man raised his hand and pet the Skrill absentmindedly.

Jason had a frown on his face as he looked out over the city. After leaving Texas, Jason had taken care of various Machina around Europe before finally coming to France. Jason had used [Eye of the King] to figure out which cities needed his help the most. And from what Jason had seen, France was the country that had suffered the most damage from the Machina attack. Not only were there more Machina here than in any other city, but the superhumans in the city were very weak, so they weren’t able to put up a fight against the Machina and hold the Machina back for the Legion subordinates to arrive! It was unfortunate, but Jason knew that the casualties from this attack would be significant!
