Super Soldier King and Cute CEO
Chapter 2011 - 2007: He Already Warned Them
"Are you talking to me?" Ling Xing said coldly.
Tang Zhong heard this and said, "Misunderstanding, it’s all just a misunderstanding."
This Ling Xing was clearly anything but simple—her current Dragon avatar was actually bigger than his own body.
But this threat really made Tang Zhong uncomfortable.
This woman slept with him, then got rescued, and now she turns around and snarls at him.
Tang Zhong really couldn’t swallow that.
How can a person be like this.
Ling Xing only calmed down and reverted to her previous human form after realizing Tang Zhong had stopped talking.
"Hey, I’m a Dragon too after all. The Dragon Realm is in disaster... shouldn’t you at least tell me what the hell actually happened in the Dragon Realm?" Tang Zhong said.
He had come for the Dragon Realm.
And this Dragon definitely knew the inside story.
"You’re not strong enough yet. The enemies of the Dragon Realm are terrifying," Ling Xing said.
Looked down on again.
Tang Zhong said, "I’m still a Dragon at least. When are we going back to the Dragon Realm?"
Ling Xing froze for a moment at what Tang Zhong said; obviously she hadn’t expected him to talk like that.
She said, "I don’t know either."
"What? You don’t know? Didn’t you come out from the Dragon Realm?" Tang Zhong didn’t quite get it.
"Back when disaster struck the Dragon Realm, many Dragons were released to search for Dragons in the outside world. Because of that, the power of the Dragon Realm’s passageways was altered, forming new tunnels. If we want to go back, we have to use the tunnels, but only people in the Dragon Realm know where those tunnels are. Those outside the Dragon Realm don’t know where they are—unless they find them themselves," Ling Xing said.
Hearing this, Tang Zhong was straight-up speechless. Was it really this hard to enter the Dragon Realm to help?
The Dragon Realm might as well just face Annihilation; no point wasting any more time on it.
"Then can we find them?" Tang Zhong asked.
"That... is hard to say." Ling Xing said, "First thing we need to do now is gather the other Dragons out here and use the Great Divine Dragon Summoning Technique. That way we can locate the Dragon Realm’s position and the tunnels."
Tang Zhong heard this and nodded.
Oh Dragon Realm, Dragon Realm, I’m just an ordinary guy from Xuan Country, but I’m a descendant of Dragons, you’re the homeland of Dragons, I have a duty to keep you safe.
"The Great Divine Dragon Summoning Technique..."
"How do I learn this Great Divine Dragon Summoning Technique?"
Ling Xing glanced back at Tang Zhong. "That depends on your talent. If your talent’s not good enough, you might not be qualified."
Tang Zhong: "..."
The hell kind of bullshit is this? Now learning a Great Divine Dragon Summoning Technique also needs talent? What kind of joke is that?
Suddenly, Ling Xing looked at Tang Zhong and said, "About what happened between you and me, I don’t want you talking about it. If you say a word, I’ll take your life."
Tang Zhong was truly speechless to the extreme. He’d saved her, yet she actually threatened him and even said she’d take his life.
And he’s not even allowed to talk about it.
"Fine."
Tang Zhong wasn’t that kind of blabbermouth.
"So what are we supposed to do now?"
"We should find the other Dragons," Ling Xing said.
"When we Dragons came out of the Dragon Realm back then, we carried a mission. Also, to get out of the Dragon Realm, we had to endure torment over billions of li of void. You could say everyone who made it out of the Dragon Realm was injured, then fell from high up in the sky. Most of them died and turned into fossils. Those who hit the ground and didn’t die ended up like me—badly injured, on the brink of death, barely clinging to life. If you fell in some remote region it wasn’t so bad; at least you wouldn’t be captured by humans. But if you fell into human territory, you’d be captured and used for blood research."
Tang Zhong could understand what Ling Xing was saying now, because that was exactly what had happened to her—captured, wrapped up in chains.
That really was miserable.
"I don’t even know, out of the thousand-strong Dragon Realm dare-to-die squad we sent out, how many are left now," Ling Xing said.
Tang Zhong heard this and said, "Who exactly are you? You’re a dare-to-die squad member same as them, and you’re still worrying about them?"
Ling Xing turned to look at Tang Zhong, wanting to speak, but several times the words reached her lips and she swallowed them back down.
"We’re people of the Dragon Realm. This concerns the Dragon Realm’s crisis; how can we not take it seriously?"
"Alright then." Tang Zhong didn’t know what else to say.
The two of them were currently on top of the Cangye Kingdom Imperial Palace.
Noise was rising from below.
"It’s that woman, she’s the one who killed him."
"She killed King Cang Xuantong, we can’t let her go."
Another middle-aged man who looked very similar to Cang Xuantong was standing there, directing everyone.
If nothing unexpected had happened, this middle-aged man should be King Cang Xuantong’s younger brother.
Now that Cang Xuantong was dead, this man had justifiably inherited the position of King.
And the first thing he did after ascending the throne was revenge.
Because only by taking revenge could he get everyone to acknowledge him.
More and more people gathered, shouting loudly down there.
Looking at the people below, Tang Zhong was utterly speechless. What the hell was wrong with this bunch?
Courting death? Even your King couldn’t beat her, and you’re up here acting all arrogant for what, lining up to die?
He actually hoped these people would quit it with the posturing; otherwise, with this female Dragon’s temperament, she’d definitely slaughter everyone here.
A bunch of idiots.
Your King had it coming; no one else to blame.
If it were someone else, they probably would’ve already wiped out your entire Cangye Kingdom.
And you’re still here yelling.
Begging to die.
At this moment, Ling Xing’s eyes turned vicious as she looked down at the people below.
She directly transformed into a Divine Dragon and let out a furious roar.
The Dragon’s roar shook the air, giving off a crushing sense of pressure.
Quite a few people below went pale, their faces twisted with fear.
"Don’t be scared, what are you scared of? There’s so many of us, we don’t need to be afraid of her. Kill her first, then talk."
"Yeah, yeah, the King only died because he didn’t bring enough people. If we all attack together with everything we’ve got, we can definitely hack that thing to pieces."
"Charge together! No way we can’t kill her!"
More and more people were shouting wildly.
Tang Zhong watched from below and didn’t blame Ling Xing for killing anymore. This had nothing to do with him now; he might as well just stand aside and enjoy the show.
Ling Xing transformed into a Divine Dragon and roared.
A beam of light blasted out from her Dragon maw.
That beam contained both Thunderous power and Flame.
It swept straight across.
The people charging at the front were sliced through by the beam on the spot, dying instantly, their bodies turning completely into blood and vanishing without a trace.
The lucky ones who survived had just been fired up with hot blood, egged on to avenge their King.
But looking at this scene now—avenge what my ass, better think about staying alive first.
They immediately turned to run, but just then the beam swept out again. Those trying to escape were struck by the light and turned directly into puddles of blood.
Seeing this, Tang Zhong sighed helplessly. He really had warned them before.
