Supernatural Insight Eyes - Chapter 1973 - 1974’s Whereabouts! First Update
The soul of the black-robed man had vanished, leaving only his body standing in place, motionless, with eyes devoid of luster and full of desolation.
The Six Pleasures Gate slowly dissipated, and Ye Qiu breathed a sigh of relief.
The ability to defeat the opponent was thanks to the Six Pleasures Gate, which had saved him numerous times since he entered the ancestral land; the Saints it had killed were more than just one.
Furthermore, the Six Pleasures Gate was solely targeted at souls, allowing Ye Qiu to preserve a complete body to use as a clone.
It was simply a perfect cultivation technique.
Sometimes, Ye Qiu even wondered how Ge Tian could fall after creating such a method; the Six Pleasures Gate alone brought Ye Qiu immense shock.
Wan’er was now lost and disheartened; even the black-robed man had been killed by Ye Qiu, so how could she be his match?
Ye Qiu stored the black-robed man into his storage ring; it was the body of a powerful figure close to the level of a Supreme Saint, and he couldn’t just discard it.
Moreover, to deal with the black-robed man, he had lost three Saint clones and had none left. Luckily, now he replenished them with the black-robed man’s body, which was even stronger than the previous ones, making it a gain for Ye Qiu.
As for the black-robed man’s soul, it turned into a soul orb, but this time, no mark entered Ye Qiu’s body; Ye Qiu found that the mark wasn’t imprinted on him because it embedded itself in the soul orb.
If he absorbed the soul orb, the mark would probably appear.
Ye Qiu had previously solved the issue with the mark, but now he didn’t want to absorb the soul orb’s power, so he stored it in his storage ring.
Only Wan’er was left now.
Ye Qiu didn’t plan to kill her immediately because Wan’er knew the whereabouts of Tang Surou.
"Spare me, I can agree to any condition of yours."
Watching Ye Qiu approach, Wan’er gestured that she could fulfill any condition of his.
Undeniably, Wan’er had an allure at this moment, especially with the weak, pitiful, and captivating look in her eyes, any man seeing it would feel tender-hearted.
Even Ye Qiu had to admit that he was momentarily attracted.
But only for an instant, after which he regained his composure.
Wan’er noticed Ye Qiu’s expression was unmoved and furrowed her brow.
She hadn’t expected that Ye Qiu would be completely indifferent to her appearance.
"I can offer myself to you, on one condition, let me have a way out, can’t you?"
Wan’er said and secretly watched Ye Qiu’s expression, but after a while, Ye Qiu’s eyes were filled with calmness, apparently unmoved.
Wan’er felt somewhat desperate.
At this moment, Ye Qiu spoke: "Do you know why I am not moved?"
"Because you are not a man!" Wan’er replied, her words were biting, implying insult.
Ye Qiu did not get angry, he held Waner’s chin with his palm and slightly lifted her face, with a smile: "Because you’re flaunting someone else’s face here, whenever I think of that, I can’t help but feel nauseous. I imagine the reason you like to use someone else’s appearance must be because you are very ugly yourself."
"You..." Wan’er was enraged, but unfortunately, Ye Qiu was not empathetic at all at this moment. His hand clasped Wan’er’s face and forcibly tore off a piece of skin, revealing Wan’er’s true face.
Behind the false face was Wan’er’s true appearance.
Indeed, Ye Qiu was right; Wan’er’s real looks were nothing remarkable, up to not even a tenth of Tang Surou’s, with sallow skin, a thin figure, and a large birthmark on her face, utterly mismatching beauty, no wonder Wan’er liked to hide behind a false mask.
A pretty face is vastly more welcomed than an ugly one.
"I truly feel sorry for those men who adored your false appearance, if they knew how you genuinely look, would they still surround you?" Ye Qiu said with a faint smile.
This remark was evidently to humiliate her, and Wan’er’s eyes were filled with venomous resentment.
"If given the chance, I would expose your identity to the public, letting everyone know you are nothing more than a native."
"Then, all the sects you offended would chase you down."
Wan’er laughed, with a hint of madness in her laughter because she knew it was almost impossible to escape from Ye Qiu.
"Unfortunately, I won’t give you that chance." Ye Qiu mercilessly interrupted Wan’er’s laughter.
"Where is she?"
Ye Qiu queried Tang Surou’s whereabouts.
Wan’er’s eyes flickered, she had almost forgotten she still had a card in hand that she could use to threaten Ye Qiu.
"Want to know her whereabouts? If you beg me, kneel and beg, I can tell you." Wan’er said.
"Kneel and beg you?" Ye Qiu repeated, a cold smile appearing on his face: "Even if you don’t say it, I can still find out."
A powerful soul force surged into Wan’er’s mind instantly.
Wan’er clutched her head, knowing Ye Qiu intended to perform a Soul Search on her, once he learned where Tang Surou was, she was bound to die.
"Ye Qiu, I’ll make you regret it; I won’t let you rescue her." Wan’er had madness filling her eyes, just as Ye Qiu’s soul was preparing for the search, it exited instantly.
At the moment Ye Qiu’s soul withdrew, Wan’er self-destructed; she exploded her Dantian and her soul followed suit.
Wan’er knew she couldn’t leave alive, to prevent revealing Tang Surou’s whereabouts, she rather opted for self-destruction, not giving Ye Qiu the chance to probe her soul.
Ye Qiu frowned, he had overlooked this point, not foreseeing Wan’er’s decisiveness.
Now it was troubling, where should he find Tang Surou’s whereabouts after Wan’er’s self-destruction?
Ye Qiu was in a dilemma.
Undeniably, Wan’er was extremely crazy, willing to self-destruct to retaliate against Ye Qiu, but unfortunately, she still couldn’t harm him.
Where could Tang Surou be?
The Black Shaman Cult?
Ye Qiu shook his head, unable to explore further; now, Wan’er and her father had all died by his hands, making finding clues about Tang Surou nearly impossible.
If it were some insignificant individuals, it would be insignificant, but Tang Surou had saved his life before; now learning she was caught by Wan’er, it’s a pity he couldn’t find out from Wan’er where Tang Surou was, leaving him incapable of locating her.
Ye Qiu searched throughout the courtyard, trying not to miss even the smallest corner, and truly he found in what seemed to be Wan’er’s room a cellar.
Ye Qiu didn’t hesitate, opening the cellar’s entrance and jumping in entirely.
Once inside the cellar, Ye Qiu found a secret room below.
Ye Qiu sensed a living presence in the secret room and kicked open the iron door, seeing a figure bound by chains before him.
He had found her!
Tang Surou was right in front of him.
