"Now, forget everything you have heard.

As I said before—

We might still need you to train another prodigy that we can use."

Seraphielle spoke with the same gentle smile on her face as her hand moved up, from Tenzin’s cheek to his bald head.

Tenzin’s body shook, his eyes widened in absolute fright. He tried to burn his disciple’s memory into his mind, the memory of everything that happened here, the memory of never repeating the same mistake again, to... never take in another disciple—

But—

In front of Seraphielle—

All those thoughts of resistance were... pointless.

The difference in strength was too vast, so even when Equarios wasn’t here to bind him, there was nothing Tenzin could actually do.

Seraphielle grabbed his head, golden light came out from her hand, entering his mind, and then—

It began erasing every single memory in his head that was related to Vashti.

The worst part?

Seraphielle didn’t just completely wipe out his memories to make it seem like this never happened, that he never had a disciple named Vashti—

No.

She made it so that she only erased any information even slightly connected to Vashti, so Tenzin, while he would forget everything, because of all the inaccuracies he would notice everywhere around him because of his erased memory—

He would always feel...

He was forgetting something.

Something that was extremely, extremely important, while doing exactly what Seraphielle wanted him to do.

Take in another disciple, train her...

And if that disciple was worthy—

Seraphielle would take her as well.

Heck, at this point, she would take her even if she wasn’t worthy, just Tenzin’s reactions alone were more than enough motivation for her to play this sick game.

Once Seraphielle was done, the golden light enveloping Tenzin’s entire body started fading away. He lost consciousness since such a vast amount of information was suddenly removed from his head, and looking at him one last time with a smile—

Seraphielle walked away, leaving him alone.

...

About a few hours later, Tenzin woke up with a frown on his face, his head was... aching. Which was strange since the level he had reached had made it impossible for him to feel such headaches.

But even then, he did not let that stop him. He walked towards his mat, sat down, and closed his eyes.

He was a monk.

A calm mind was the source of a strong body.

That was what he believed in, this pain, he would subdue it with simple meditation. With that thought in his mind, he began meditating.

A few minutes later, however, he frowned and opened his eyes again.

He...

He couldn’t focus.

Which was surprising since in his long life, he had... never once failed to focus on his meditation.

It was... strange.

His body was... restless.

Almost as if it was trying to do something he just couldn’t understand.

"Am I... forgetting something...?" 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

He asked out loud.

He then stood up, to meet his ’friends’.

The moment his friends saw him, however, they looked away with somewhat guilty looks on their faces.

"What is it? Did something happen?"

He asked curiously, and the other Monks... they looked at him...

They looked at his clueless face and they realized what had happened.

His memories were gone.

So what did they do?

"Nothing.

What could possibly happen here at the very edge of nowhere?"

They remained silent too.

If the Infinities erased his memories, then that was how they were going to keep it. They had no plans of challenging an Infinity’s decision, that was nothing more than plain foolishness.

Tenzin frowned at that answer, he could sense that something was wrong, that his ’friends’ were hiding something from him.

But he understood that if they didn’t wish to tell, it was their wish. So he nodded and—

"Alright then."

He shifted the topic—

"Did you find what I was looking for, by any chance?"

"What you were looking for?"

One of the Monks frowned.

"Yes, did you forget?"

Tenzin tilted his head, somewhat confused.

"A disciple.

Did you find a suitable disciple I can take in?"

...

Back in the Infinity room with a comically large table, the Four Infinities gathered again, and in the middle, hovering above their table was... Vashti.

Or the relic they made out of her.

They had named it—

The Crown of Peace.

A strange name considering how it was made.

But none of the Infinities found it odd, Seraphielle actually liked it quite a bit.

"Do we know it works for sure?"

Ul’Thakar asked directly.

"It should."

Orravyn nodded with a confident look on his face. He had read Vashti’s memories, he had seen her power work, and...

It was next to impossible for the Anomaly to avoid it.

The other Infinities nodded, they weren’t as confident as Orravyn, but the relics were already made. In case it didn’t work, they would just... think of something else. Not to mention they would get to blame Zylarith for his incompetence.

"Then all we need to do is distribute it, correct?"

Equarios questioned.

"Yes."

Orravyn nodded as he then took out an orb, and the moment the orb left his arm, it began hovering in the air, above the crown.

It was perfectly round and smooth. There was no solid surface to it, instead, it looked like a contained piece of the very void itself, filled with endless darkness.

Tiny stars shimmered inside it.

Some were faint, barely visible, others burned brightly for a moment before fading again. It was like... a small Universe.

At its very core—

A single red star glowed brightly.

It pulsed softly, in a calm, steady rhythm.

Yes, it was similar to the eye on the crown, no, it wasn’t just similar, it seemed exactly the same.

Thin threads of golden light extended out from the orb, almost invisible unless one focused. The threads stretched far, forming a connection with the Crown of Peace that it was hovering above.

*Picture*

"Orb of Peace."

Orravyn muttered, introducing what he had created.

"An Orb that is connected to every single Crown of Peace that I made, this is where I used the largest part of Vashti’s Core."

The Infinities listened carefully, Orravyn continued.

"I will keep the Orb with me.

And as we distribute the Crown of Peace to the Universe, the World Leaders who receive the Crown simply need to connect it with their World’s Will.

The Crown of Peace would then form a connection with the Orb, the Orb would provide the necessary energy to activate the Crown.

This will happen with every single World in the Universe, thus forming a network where every World in the Universe is connected to the orb.

The moment the Anomaly tries to attack any of the Worlds, the Crown would sense it and the Orb will inform us, allowing us to move to that particular world before the Anomaly attacks it.

Then all we need to do is wait for him and capture him the moment he gets there."

Orravyn explained everything clearly.

The other Infinities nodded, Ul’Thakar grinned at the thought of finally facing the famed Anomaly head-on.

Seraphielle and Equarios, on the other hand, were looking at Orravyn and had narrowed their eyes.

Orravyn ignored that, he wanted to continue further, but the two Infinities didn’t let that happen.

"Why is there only one Orb?"

Equarios questioned.

Orravyn looked at him as if he was expecting the question—

"Forming a network with one Orb was simpler than four. The latter was redundant."

"..."

Equarios couldn’t say anything.

It was Orravyn who built it, he could do it however he wanted.

Seraphielle, however, still didn’t let this go.

"Once the Anomaly is captured, I will remove the Crowns from my Worlds and my own World’s Will won’t be connected with the Crown.

That place, I can protect myself."

She spoke directly.

Her distrust in Orravyn was apparent. Her logic was simple, it took Orravyn a total of ten thousand years to create all these relics.

Of course, in reality, only a few hours had passed since Zylarith came to them, but that was because they had changed the flow of time when they visited Tenzin and Vashti.

But even that didn’t take away from the fact that Orravyn had worked tirelessly for quite a while and no one in this entire Universe could convince Seraphielle that he did it solely to catch the Anomaly.

He must have other goals.

Goals that went beyond what they were thinking.

Honestly, Seraphielle didn’t even want the crowns he created connected to the Light Worlds’ Will, but she knew she had no choice, so she came up with this instead.

And she wasn’t alone—

"Me too."

Equarios nodded.

Ul’Thakar looked around with an amused look on his face, then he just shrugged—

"Well, since everyone’s doing it, then I guess I will follow along as well."

He then looked at Orravyn and grinned—

"All the work you put in just got wasted, didn’t it?"

Orravyn, however, didn’t react to that cheap provocation, he just continued—

"Do whatever you please.

Now let’s discuss what’s more urgent.

How do we distribute the Crowns?"
