Chapter 2358: Do not underestimate him.

"Oh~ The boy’s scary because he defeated me~

As if that’s supposed to make us serious."

Ul’Thakar mocked Zylarith.

Then, he looked at the one who was once called the Strongest Infinity and with a cold, cruel tone—

"You lost because you were weak."

He spoke directly, his crimson eyes shining with a bright light.

"Not because the boy was strong."

"The boy is strong.

As much as I hate to admit it, if this were a fair, one-on-one battle, none of us here would have been able to defeat him."

Zylarith did not back down, instead, he looked at the other Infinities and—

"I am not trying to trick any of you, I am saying this because I have seen it with my own eyes. I have seen the boy fight, he wasn’t as strong when he fought against me, in fact, he was weaker than me, so much so that I was looking down on him, just like you are right now.

But he pulled through.

He got stronger the more he fought, till the point I didn’t even realize when he surpassed me.

That is who this boy is.

His strongest suit isn’t his strength or the tricks he has up his sleeves—

It is the rate at which he grows."

Zylarith paused, he looked into Nux’s eyes with... genuine admiration before he turned back to the Infinities and—

"There is a reason a Universe chose him to be its God and in case you are forgetting—

The boy is barely a few thousand years old.

That was all the time he needed to grow from a weak mortal human, to stand in the presence of the Five Strongest Beings in existence and not quiver one bit.

Do not underestimate him."

Zylarith repeated his words.

For a moment, the Infinities stayed silent, Ul’Thakar looked at Nux, as if trying to understand what it was that made Zylarith act the way he was.

But that was when Seraphielle chuckled.

"Stronger than all of us individually? Him?"

The Infinity of Light looked at Zylarith, then at Nux, then she turned back to Zylarith again—

"This is the same boy who didn’t have the guts to stand in our presence and resorted to Guerrilla Warfare."

"He was weaker then."

Zylarith answered calmly.

"Oh? So he got strong enough to defeat us Infinities within a few decades? Is that what you are trying to say?"

Seraphielle raised her eyebrow, as if she wasn’t planning on believing a shred of this fantasy.

"No."

Zylarith shook his head.

Then, he looked at Seraphielle with his purple eyes shining strongly and—

"He got strong enough to defeat us Infinities within a few hours.

That is what I am trying to say.

And I am telling you right now, the reason that boy is silently watching us fight each other is because in his mind, he is coming up with a way to get even stronger and win again.

This time, against all of us, together.

And if we continue doing what we are currently doing, we will be handing that victory to him on a silver platter."

Zylarith stressed how important it was, basically giving up his pride and asking the other Four Infinities to come together and fight the threat that would erase them all if they didn’t.

That alone showed how big of a threat he considered Nux to be.

Ul’Thakar noticed it and he narrowed his eyes, for now, he didn’t say anything, Orravyn did.

"Aren’t you overestimating him a little too much? He is a foolish child who made the mistake of trusting someone like her, how dangerous could he be?"

He asked, more out of curiosity than disdain.

"You said it, he is a child who made a mistake, this is the only reason he is here in the first place, if he hadn’t made the mistake he did—

Then he would have been the one attacking us.

And this, I assure you—

If he came to us with full preparation and a plan—

Even if all five of us faced him together—

We would not have won."

Zylarith declared with a serious look on his face, then, he looked at the other Infinities before looking at Orravyn and—

"So be glad he was an inexperienced child who trusted someone he shouldn’t have and take advantage of the mistake he made.

Kill him and remove the threat he poses immediately.

Because if you do not—

We will be the ones who will be erased instead."

Zylarith spoke solemnly, Orravyn wanted to say something, to counter Zylarith in some way, Seraphielle and even Equarios were no different but then—

"Listen to him."

Ul’Thakar spoke up, his crimson eyes shining with a strange understanding.

"Discussions can be done later, we can mock him all we want later, but first—"

The Infinity of Darkness looked at Nux and—

"Let’s get rid of the rat who has been troubling us for decades."

Nux clenched his fists as he looked back at him.

Tsk

He snorted in his mind, but he couldn’t exactly complain, with how strongly Zylarith was trying to convince them, if they didn’t listen to him at this point—

They would be fools.

And however arrogant these Infinities were—

They were not fools.

"Alright then."

And Orravyn proved that as he turned his attention back to Nux.

"Let’s end this."

He spoke as he waved his hand and a relic appeared in the air out of nowhere.

A thin silver page, covered in countless tiny symbols Nux didn’t understand. Orravyn then gently touched the page and the moment he did—

Whoosh

A silent wave spread all over the battlefield, the stars around them dimmed and... the battlefield disappeared from the Universe’s perspective.

When Zylarith sensed it, he looked at Orravyn, somewhat surprised, Orravyn just chuckled.

"You didn’t think we’d be facing him just because you told us to, did you?

We are not your subordinates, Zylarith Chaosveil."

Zylarith looked at him, then he looked at Nux and then at his own hands. Since the Universe couldn’t sense anything that was happening in here, it meant he could use his powers without any restrictions, just like he could back in Nux’s Universe.

It meant he was given a second chance to face Nux and this time, he wasn’t alone.

"That is acceptable."

Zylarith grinned as dense chaos gathered around him and the violet in his eyes shined with a cruel glint.

Nux looked at it, then at Orravyn and his face turned solemn as he realized it.

He wasn’t facing Four Infinities...

He was facing all Five of them.

"You sure prepared a lot to fight a mere child."

He mocked, trying to get a reaction, to buy a few more minutes of time but—

"Prepared?"

Orravyn just laughed with a pitying look on his face and—

"You have no clue, do you?"

That was when Nux’s focus, that had been on Zylarith’s memories, returned to the battlefield all at once.

He clenched his fists, straightened his back and took his battle stance, probably one last time. The Infinities sensed his readiness, and they moved as well.

Seraphielle vanished and appeared right in front of him. Nux blinked in surprise, he didn’t sense any change in the Space around him, that alone told him that the woman did not teleport—

She... moved physically, so fast that even Nux’s eyes couldn’t keep up. Her palm moved towards his chest, light gathered around her, ready to burn him alive—

Nux barely twisted his body at the last instant and teleported a few meters away, his eyes never once left Seraphielle during the entire exchange.

"Hmm? You reacted faster than I expected. I am impressed."

Seraphielle chuckled, a beautiful, almost hypnotic smile appeared on her face, but just then—

"!!!"

SLICE

Her eyes widened in horror as suddenly Ul’Thakar arrived right next to her, blocking an attack that would have cut her head off otherwise.

Or more accurately, blocking the result of an attack that hadn’t happened yet.

An attack whose result arrived before the action.

An impossibility made... possible.

And if it wasn’t for Ul’Thakar arriving at the last second, Seraphielle would have been wounded.

"Hmm.

You were slower than I expected.

I am not impressed."

Nux smiled, looking into her eyes as if he was judging her.

And in an instant, the amused, easy look on Seraphielle’s face changed. She finally realized what Zylarith was talking about, why this monster was... what he was.

Nux didn’t care.

His eyes had already shifted to Ul’Thakar and—

BOOOOM

He punched.

The force struck Ul’Thakar’s chest but his body simply dissolved into mist and the force moved past it, not hurting Ul’Thakar one bit.

Ul’Thakar became solid the next moment.

Nux narrowed his eyes.

Then—

"I am not impressed either."

He heard a voice that came from behind, Nux frowned, he didn’t sense anyone behind him, but as he strengthened his senses, at the very last second, he noticed a very minute mist particle hovering right behind him but by the time he realized what it was—

Ul’Thakar’s body reformed through that mist and he punched.

BOOOOOM

The impact sent Nux flying across the void.

"Khawwwrrkkk!!"

He coughed blood before he spun in the air and stopped himself.

Then, his eyes fell on Ul’Thakar and this little exchange between them was all he needed to understand it.

This one was going to be a problem.
