Supreme Warrior in the City
Chapter 2532: Mother’s Hometown
Su Yang and his group had been fleeing in the Great World for about a year and a half, with approximately twenty percent of the Demon Beast Saint Emperors escaping amidst the chaos.
Of course, these Demon Beast Saint Emperors were soon captured by the Guardian God after they fled.
The Guardian God pursuing Su Yang and his companions was like a giant net, slowly closing in to entrap them.
Therefore, the escaping Demon Beast Saint Emperors ultimately fell into the hands of these Guardian Gods.
However, the Guardian God did not kill these Demon Beast Saint Emperors but offered them many benefits, allowing them to choose for themselves.
Most of the Demon Beast Saint Emperors chose to align with the Guardian God, while a small portion remained defiant, refusing to join the Guardian God even under such circumstances.
Yet, the Guardian God did not kill these Demon Beast Saint Emperors but exiled them instead.
Su Yang was well aware of this situation, knowing that the Guardian God’s actions were meant to be a demonstration. The Guardian God aimed to shake the morale of his side, showing the Demon Beast Saint Emperors that they wouldn’t die even if captured, luring more to escape.
Indeed, the Guardian God’s tactic was shameless. Yet, despite this, Su Yang and his group were powerless against it. Outmatched in strength, there was truly nothing they could do.
Furthermore, the most troublesome issue was that the Guardian God’s encirclement had already been established and was continuously tightening. Now, Su Yang and his companions were like fish trapped in a large net. Though the net seemed expansive now, allowing some room to struggle, their space to maneuver would shrink as the net closed. Ultimately, when the net completely closed, the fish would be entirely trapped, at the mercy of others.
Fully aware of the current predicament, Su Yang had been contemplating how to escape this situation.
To him, the last resort would be to enter the Land of Chaos. Unless it was absolutely necessary, he wouldn’t lead the Saint Emperors into the Land of Chaos.
However, if not entering the Land of Chaos, how else could they escape the current predicament?
After much consideration, Su Yang suddenly recalled a place: his mother’s homeland, a mysterious planet.
Su Yang had long felt the planet was mysterious. Previously, due to his limited understanding of the Great World, he hadn’t considered investigating the planet. But now, with his expanding knowledge, he found the planet increasingly enigmatic.
For one, such a planet could produce someone like his mother. Moreover, there was a powerful Guardian God outside, clearly indicating the planet was extraordinary. Furthermore, Su Yang had brought back three boxes from that planet, which he had yet to open.
Although Su Yang didn’t know what was inside those boxes, undoubtedly, anything preserved for so many years by such a mysterious planet was certainly not ordinary.
Moreover, the Heaven Slayer Illusion was clearly familiar with that Qing Guang outside, suggesting that Qing Guang was also one of the Ancient Heaven Warriors.
The presence of Ancient Heaven Warriors guarding that place made it impossible for Su Yang not to suspect that the planet held secrets about the Ancient Heaven Warriors.
If he discovered these secrets, could they aid in the looming battle?
Even if not found, at the very least, he could gather some other insights to dispel some of his confusion.
Thinking of these things, Su Yang wasted no time and led his group straight to that planet.
He needed to reach the planet before the Guardian God completely caught up with them from behind.
Of course, Su Yang wasn’t worried about the Guardian God entering the planet. Under Qing Guang’s protection, it was impossible for the Guardian God to penetrate that planet.
The others were unaware of Su Yang’s plans, except for the three Crystal Skulls, who appeared flustered as they watched the direction Su Yang was heading. They had previously followed Su Yang to that planet but were severely dealt with by Qing Guang outside. The prospect of returning triggered memories of being disciplined before.
Thus, while still some distance from the planet, the three Crystal Skulls hurriedly approached Su Yang, expressing their willingness to remain behind to gather intelligence for the group. In essence, they wished to avoid the planet to evade further consequences.
Understanding their stance, Su Yang agreed to their request.
As they neared the planet, the Guardian God’s forces were closing in.
Reaching this area, Su Yang did not bring everyone along; instead, he set off alone to the planet.
It wasn’t that Su Yang intended to keep the planet’s secrets; in fact, at this critical moment, both Human Clan and Demon Beast Clan faced a crisis of extinction. Su Yang wasn’t concerned about any secrets being leaked. The main issue was whether the people on the planet would welcome such a large group.
Upon further contemplation, it seemed most fitting for Su Yang to initially go alone, as he was already familiar with the planet’s inhabitants. It could even be said that the place was Su Yang’s second home, as it was his mother’s family.
Approaching the planet, everything remained unchanged, calm as water. The Great World’s battles outside had not impacted this place at all; it seemed akin to a paradise. The events outside were unable to influence this area, and even this Star Domain remained so tranquil.
Su Yang slowly approached the planet, from afar seeing Qing Guang still guarding the planet’s perimeter. Attempting to fly towards the planet, no matter his efforts, he couldn’t get closer, similar to his previous encounter.
Su Yang was speechless; this Guardian God was indeed diligent, not allowing him to approach.
With no other option, Su Yang summoned the Heaven Slayer Illusion once more, as only this illusion could communicate with Qing Guang; Su Yang couldn’t communicate with Qing Guang directly.
Sure enough, upon the illusion’s appearance, Qing Guang shifted slightly, seemingly sensing the Heaven Slayer Illusion’s presence. Qing Guang gradually morphed into a human-like shape, seemingly observing the Heaven Slayer Illusion from a distance.
Seizing the opportunity, Su Yang swiftly flew over, arriving before Qing Guang.
"Senior, we meet again!" Su Yang respectfully said, "I have an urgent matter and wish to enter this planet. Can you permit me entry?"
Qing Guang gave no response, or rather, didn’t even acknowledge Su Yang, focusing solely on the illusion behind him.
