Supremely Talented Tyrant
Chapter 2016 - 2217: She’s My Girlfriend!!!
Li Weiwei was originally lying on the table, but when she heard Hao Jian say he was going to take her home, she immediately sat up from the chair, looked at Hao Jian reluctantly, and said, "I’m not going home, I’m not going home..."
Hao Jian was stunned for a moment upon hearing this, then said, "You’re not going home? You’re this drunk, if you’re not going home, where are you going?"
Upon hearing this, Li Weiwei pouted, "I don’t care, I don’t care where I go, but I definitely am not going home. If anyone sends me home today, I will never forgive them, I will hate them for a lifetime."
Hao Jian was immediately at a loss upon hearing this. He never expected that running into Li Weiwei today would end up like this. If he hadn’t seen her earlier, or had just left upon seeing her, it would have been better.
Now, she’s this drunk, it’s obviously impossible for him to just leave. If something happened to Li Weiwei after he left, he would undoubtedly feel guilty. And if he left and nothing happened to Li Weiwei, that would be impossible too. After all, a pretty girl like her, drunk and walking on the street, he couldn’t believe no ill-intentioned men would turn a blind eye to such a situation.
She would be in trouble then. Therefore, in this situation, he obviously couldn’t leave, and yet when he tried to take Li Weiwei home, she kept shouting that she didn’t want to go home and threatened to hold a grudge against whoever took her home today for a lifetime. Although drunken words are usually nonsense and not to be taken seriously, it was clear that Li Weiwei really didn’t want to go home. Hao Jian didn’t know the exact reason, but seeing Li Weiwei’s discomfort at the mention of going home, he couldn’t force her against her will.
But if not taking her home, should they just sit here all night? He needed to go home, and if he didn’t, that girl Xiaohai definitely wouldn’t let him go easily. And thinking about Liang Yuwei coming next week, wouldn’t that mean? So he had to go home tonight.
But before he could go home, he had to deal with the trouble of Li Weiwei. She didn’t want to go home, and he didn’t know how to handle her.
"I want to drink!" The previously quiet Li Weiwei suddenly started causing a scene again, yelling.
Upon seeing this, Hao Jian frowned. Li Weiwei wanted to drink more, which he couldn’t allow now. Thinking that she didn’t want to go home and had nowhere else to go, he decided to just open a hotel room and take her there, letting her spend the night alone in the hotel. After all, she would probably return home on her own the next day.
With this in mind, while Li Weiwei was still demanding more drinks, Hao Jian ignored her, took her hand directly, and tried to hoist her onto his shoulder. Li Weiwei resisted, but whether she liked it or not, he had to do it. Otherwise, if they kept this up, he wouldn’t get any rest tonight.
So, he unceremoniously hoisted Li Weiwei onto his back. Li Weiwei kept struggling wildly on his back. People tend to weigh more when they’re drunk, and with all her struggling, it felt like he was carrying two people on his back.
Moreover, with all of Li Weiwei’s struggling, she had a lot more contact with his skin. Even though there was a layer of clothing, the sensation was quite clear for Hao Jian, causing his mind to wander, especially with Li Weiwei’s ample chest bouncing on his back, which made him very uncomfortable.
But now wasn’t the time for such thoughts. If he lost control, the consequences would be unimaginable.
Li Weiwei continued to thrash on his back, but he couldn’t worry about that much. If he didn’t take some firm measures, this would never end.
He then carried Li Weiwei out. The people nearby saw her antics and couldn’t help but cast glances. In night snack bars, there were often drunk people, and some who made a scene, so normally when someone acted drunk and rowdy, it only attracted a few curious looks, as most people just didn’t want to get involved. However, maybe because Li Weiwei was exceptionally beautiful, many people couldn’t help but take more than a casual glance.
Enduring the onlookers’ gazes, Hao Jian carried Li Weiwei outside. He saw a hotel not far away that looked decent, so he thought since it seemed nearby and decent, it might as well be the place for Li Weiwei to stay for the night.
However, just as he was carrying Li Weiwei and walking away, a group of people suddenly approached them, clearly targeting him. About seven or eight people stopped in front of Hao Jian, blocking his path and looking very arrogant.
Hao Jian immediately stopped, looking at this group with a helpless expression.
These people, seven or eight in total, each with hair dyed in different colors, some had earrings, and their clothing was odd. You couldn’t call them trendy, yet they wore bizarre outfits, mainly characterized by standing in place, shaking their legs or chewing on toothpicks arrogantly. At a glance, it was obvious these were local street thugs.
However, this group of people was blocking Hao Jian’s path at this moment. Their eyes were all fixated on Li Weiwei on Hao Jian’s back. Their intentions were plain to see; it was clear that their purpose in stopping Hao Jian was Li Weiwei.
Among these street thugs, a man in a white tank top was eyeing Hao Jian with an ill-intentioned look. It was obvious that he was the leader of these seven or eight thugs.
"Let me down, let go of me!" Li Weiwei kept shouting from Hao Jian’s back.
Seeing this, the tank top guy looked at Hao Jian with a fierce demeanor and abruptly shouted at him, "Kid, what are you doing, carrying my girlfriend? Are you looking for trouble?"
Immediately, a group of people sitting in the night snack shop eating supper looked over curiously and unexpectedly. They were wondering, if the tank top guy was Li Weiwei’s boyfriend, then who was Hao Jian who was carrying Li Weiwei? Each of them had a curious look.
Hao Jian laughed, pointed at Li Weiwei on his back, and asked, "This is your girlfriend?"
The tank top guy nodded and said, "If she’s not my girlfriend, is she your girlfriend? I haven’t even asked you why you’re carrying her. Are you planning to take advantage of her while she’s drunk?"
Upon hearing this, Hao Jian was instantly speechless. He had only seen such things online before but to think it actually happened in real life. Casually picking up a drunk girl at a night snack shop and claiming she’s his girlfriend.
However, before Hao Jian could say anything, the tank top guy continued, "Luckily, my girlfriend called before she got drunk to let me know, so I could pick her up. If I had been just a minute later, you would’ve taken her. You’ve got some nerve to mess with my woman."
With that, even without the tank top guy giving them the signal, the seven or eight people around him started closing in on Hao Jian, all rolling up their sleeves with an intimidating stance as if ready to pounce should Hao Jian dare to say anything.
Hao Jian knew that this group was just relying on their numbers to scare him. Many guys these days only appear brave when in fact they’re not. At times like this, a little intimidation is usually enough to make them run away, abandoning the girl.
After all, sometimes your own life isn’t worth risking to play the hero. If a situation like this really happens, it’s better to run if you can. There are always more girls, but you only have one life. Especially when these guys look like street thugs—with rolled-up sleeves revealing tattoos. Particularly the tank top guy, on his chest you could faintly see a tiger tattoo.
Seeing this, everyone instinctively averted their gaze. Just by looking at the tank top guy’s stance, they knew he wasn’t someone to mess with. Watching for too long could end in a beating, which was not a practical thing.
Hao Jian laughed when he heard such claims from the tank top guy. This group knows how to intimidate, but just by their posture, it’s obvious they’ve practiced this a lot. They might have tried this method many times and who knows how many girls fell victim to them.
But these aren’t Hao Jian’s concerns. He knew this group only looked intimidating. If it really came to a fight, they’d probably be scared and weak, the type to freeze at the sight of a knife. At best, they’d bully middle schoolers but weren’t strong enough to take on anyone serious. They’d chicken out just at the thought of a real fight.
Thinking this, Hao Jian smiled quietly.
To the tank top guy, this smile seemed mocking. Immediately annoyed, he cursed, "You little shit, do you have a death wish? Put my woman down now, or you won’t leave here easily."
Hao Jian just smiled without saying a word.
The owner of the night snack shop also looked over at this moment. Li Weiwei was a regular there. Although she only spoke a few words to him each night while ordering food and paying, he knew she definitely didn’t have a boyfriend.
Moreover, he could tell that Li Weiwei wasn’t an ordinary girl. She had some standing and background, while the tank top guy clearly looked like a street thug. How could a girl like Li Weiwei ever be his girlfriend?
