Surviving in my Own Unpublished Failed Novel
Chapter 252: The War Outside [1] [Question and Praise]
Eleventh Vampire Land, Land of Disruption.
In the midst of war rampaging across certain parts of the Orion Continent, two well-built men and an alluring woman entered the land of crimson — Disruption, one of the Vampire Lands.
In the forest that acted as a border for the South Disruption, a sonic blow reverberated the gate of the sturdy fortress.
Boom—!
Han Jiho’s mysterious, incomplete swordsmanship destroyed everything in its path, prompting every Vampire on guard to be alerted of the seemingly and chillingly concealed presence.
"W–what is that!?"
"It’s an attack! Report to the Captain!"
After the initial shock that lasted less than two seconds, the Vampire Soldiers, before the reinforcements arrived, engage in battle as they jumped on the ground.
Witnessing the intruders, they could not help but spit out mockery:
"What is this? Three humans?"
"Are the humans too conceited for their own good?"
"I guess it’s false bravado. These bastards are simply mocking us!"
But before they could utter any words, Han Jiho leapt from where he was standing; behind him were one of the professors of Obelisk Academy, whilst the other was the Chairman — two people who had a deep yet ambiguous connection to the student of mystery.
Honed with their battle senses, the bunch of Vampire Soldiers conjured their blood weapons; a sword, spear, shield, a bow and... a gun of elven flesh.
"Thinking about us will only distract you. Go!" Han Jiho’s Mana Theory Professor, Scarlet Netherdawn, addressed him.
Swinging down the fragment of glory, a sword he had acquired in the a Tower, the sparks of battle reverberated throughout the forest.
"K—euak!"
Simultaneous groans and short-lived voice of agony continued to echo as Han Jiho swiftly cut down the Vampire Soldiers in his way whilst dodging skillfully every offensive attacks.
But as someone who had yet to reach his peak, being hit by a thing or two that could cut one’s skin was inevitable. However, these impacts weren’t enough to make Han Jiho lose his momentum as he relentlessly and rationally rushed towards the enemies, creating a path that signaled an indescribable invasion of a part of one of the Vampire Lands.
"He’s improved but he’ll reach something greater when the Black Veil has been torn down." The Chairman of the Obelisk Academy, Alexander Akalchelt, muttered to his confidant as they serenely traversed behind Han Jiho. It seemed as though they weren’t wanted in the battle and never wanted to meddle in the first place.
"That’s right. Unfortunately, it seems a skyrocket with casualties will be inevitable unless something happens. Chairman, won’t you meddle in Artorious Hall’s matters? It seems anytime soon it will reach its end." Scarlet Netherdawn addressed a slight concern.
"Do not worry about that. In the end, the breaking of the Black Veil is inevitable even if the Black Sky Disorder stop its antics. It will only haste its destruction. But I believe it will be better since the humans will be plunged into an existential risk, and through it, one’s ability to adapt will bloom."
Boom—!
Several Vampire Soldiers jumped at the two of them, interrupting their conversation. But it was futile as the Vampire Solidiers’ heads went flying, painting the soil crimson.

"HAAAA–!"
’Who the hell is this bastard?!’ The Vampire Captain assigned to guard the Southern Land of the Disruption was pushed back by Han Jiho, who was wielding a sword of gold.
’It was not holy power by its something similar.’ He thought as he counterattack.
Bang—!
"That’s our Captain Vladistar!" Shouted several Vampire Soldiers in chorus.
"You m*therfuckers! Focus on the two instead of your nonsense cheering." The Vampire Captain, Vladistar, screamed to his soldiers, prompting them to gang up on the two companions of the young man in front of him.
"I don’t understand."
At that moment, Han Jiho’s low voice enter Captain Vladistar’s pale ears. He, who was standing several meters away from the young man breathing raggedly, ask, "What are you saying? Have you realized your shortcomings?"
"No, I don’t understand myself. Who am I?" Han Jiho’s voice echoed. It was tranquil, sounded like he was not talking to the Vampire Captain but to nothingness, someone or something that ceased to exist in this world.
In that span of two to three seconds, Han Jiho’s black ordinary eyes radiated into gold and something majestic overlapped with his entire figure.
[Swordsmanship of "?" — First Movement...]
"W–wh—!" The Vampire Captain had no time to consider it as with a swift motion, his vision flipped and his heart stabbed to oblivion, turning him into the ashes that would be forgotten.
"Huff–!" Han Jiho’s breathing turned rougher but a smile found itself on his lips as he couldn’t help but mutter, "The backslash isn’t that extreme anymore, at the very least."
His gaze then landed on the fleeing Vampire Soldiers, seeing the two imposing figures that held a mysterious connection to his past, which at this moment, Jiho wasn’t fully aware of.

In the secret facility hidden by the Obelisk Organization, where Russell Moon and his Chaos Companions freed the Boss Monster of the dungeon, Cemetery of Oblivion.
"BARRIER! NOW!" The S–Rank Player in charge of the facility’s squad whose role was to deter any danger, shouted. An enormous fog of spear wrapped itself on the Boss Monster, Lunaria’s hand.
Woosh—!
It was a sound-breaking throw, echoing to the ears of everyone in the midst of the fog monkeys rampage.
Boom—!
Crack—!
The barrier that coagulated with the help of several mages cracked to its limit; a second later, it shattered as the roars of the fog of monkeys turned more pronounced. And unnoticed, a large spear struck the chest of the S–Rank Player, causing him to be buried deep in the ground.
"ROAAAAAR—!"
BAM—!
"Keuak—!" 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Simultaneously, bodies after bodies fell into unconsciousness. Seeing this, Russell Moon looked at Lunaria, someone who had a connection with his mysterious past, in incredulity.
Lunaria then smiled, "Master, Praise me."
Her words perked up the ears of Freya Moon and Amelie Rose, causing the two to glare weird looks to the maid and her so-called Master.
Unbothered, he responded as he tapped Lunaria’s shoulder:
"You did well."
