To be honest, Luke had no idea how that worked. With the speed of the enemies, he only had a few moments to hit them when they were moving and he also had to move the weapons underground in that short window... Still, it worked.

Regardless, those were overlords that have been fighting for decades, even though the weapons of their allies pierced their backs deeply, they wouldn’t die yet. They also had the strength to try to pull those from their back. They succeeded with that before Luke could be free from the enemy in front of him. Still, they weren’t in a condition to fight and a lot of blood gushed from their wounds. They had spirit if anything, but Luke had even more.

When Luke saw himself free from the attack of the hammer guy, he saw the other two moving away from him. While he didn’t kill them, it seemed that he also wounded their spinal cord since they were walking very slowly and inclined forward. The hammer guy also was stepping away from Luke since his legs had been burned a lot by the ground that melted and turned into lava...

"Are these guys for real?" Luke asked. "They really think that they can escape?"

The giant and the fish woman were quite slow, and when Luke used Earth magic to imprison them, they tried to fight back by swinging their weapons, but by doing so, they opened their wounds even more. Eventually, the pain froze them, and Luke had an easy time burying them as deep underground as he could.

When he turned around to finish the hammer guy, he saw him using Checkpoint and moving away toward one of the flying fortresses.

Luke instantly recovered all his mana, but his body still was a mess. Running wasn’t possible and using his skills to move might cause problems... In the end, he created an ice platform and used Checkpoint on it before throwing toward the hammer guy. That made his back hurt like hell, but thanks to the increase in strength, a single throw had been enough and Luke got close to the enemy. Despite that, the hammer guy turned around and used the effect of his hammer and made a massive lightning bolt fall. Without any other choice, Luke used Stinger to approach the enemy and dodge the attack. Somehow, he dodged but his ears were ringing due to the powerful noise.

The hammer guy clicked his tongue when he saw that his friends were nowhere to be seen. It seemed that Luke had already taken care of them... And now he had to fight. However, his legs were too wounded and they were trembling out of fear... His enemy managed to fight his whole group by himself and he didn’t stop, not even when his heart was almost destroyed... That was a type of enemy he had never faced before.

"Finally... Alone," Luke said while smirking.

The hammer guy dashed toward Luke, and despite the wounds in his legs, he still was faster than him. However, Luke had a pleasant surprise for him... When he swung the hammer and attacked, Luke punched it and made him and the weapon fly to the distance. He had been charging Concentrated Strike for a while, after all.

When the hammer guy finally stopped rolling on the ground, he was welcomed by the falling Luke that landed on his stomach and made the enemy lose all of the air in its lungs. To make sure that was the case, Luke jumped and then landed on his knee right in the elbow of the hammer guy breaking his arm and then forcing to let go of his weapon.

It was a pretty decent weapon and while Luke wanted to use the charge on that guy, he didn’t want to make things end too fast... so, he used the hammer and hit the remaining arm of the overlord several times. With each hit, he heard the sound of bones cracking and the grunts of pain of the overlord.

"Let’s go for the legs and make sure that you won’t escape," Luke said and then he began to smash the knees of the overlord.

Despite the pain, the overlord tried to resist, if his elbows and knees were broken, Luke would probably cry, or at the very least, fall unconscious. The overlord summoned several fire tornadoes and made them approach Luke. However, Luke summoned a Water Tornado and extinguished them.

The skill Necromancy has leveled up.

Luke finally could increase the rank of Necromancy, but he didn’t have the need to do that right now... In any case, Luke realized that he was getting tired of the torture. It was pretty pointless to waste time doing that when he could heal his or his friends sounds.

"Time to say goodbye, jackass," Luke said and then raised the hammer.

The overlord tried to raise his arms to block the strike, but in the end, Luke smashed those before smashing the head of the enemy as well...
