Surviving the Apocalypse While Being Tempted by an Elf and a Dark Elf
Chapter 352: Acquaintance (5)
If Cresta and the others noticed his actions, then Aivern probably did it as well. Luke began to lose confidence that his mana clones could surprise him now... Still, it seemed that no matter what plans he came up with to strengthen himself, it would eventually reach him. In any case, he just need other back up plans just in case and then nothing would change.
"The power to see things happening far away... Clairvoyance... That wouldn’t be enough to understand the mana clones," Luke thought. "In the other lives that he lived, Aivern could have learned mind-reading as well... That will make things difficult for me."
In any case, thinking about that was like digging an infinite hole without a rope to use it to escape. So, it was better to forget about that and just focus on getting stronger.
After choosing the next world, Luke saw his fortress flying above a massive forest. The trees were all at least fifty meters tall, so it might be possible that some big monsters could be hiding below. Regardless, Luke couldn’t see any signs of fire and destruction around, so he assumed that he might have arrived in another peaceful world. Still, some monsters should be there, so Luke decided to do something about it before going to the next one. He returned to his dimension and then began to use Beastly Summoning.
"Let’s see... the weakest type of monsters that I found were zombies and then the crows," Luke thought. "As for the high-level ones that still could be considered cannon fodder... it must have been the giants... No, calling them monsters would be too much."
They were five meters tall, and they barely would fit the storage dimension, but it was something that Luke had to test. Zombies also were humans that got infected by some sort of virus, but Luke also had to rest if they could be summoned.

"Hey, hey... seriously..." Luke thought while frowning.
It was weird that the system recognized zombies as monsters like starving wolves. Regardless, it was quite useful to summon them since they could evolve and join his undead army. Also, they could turn more monsters into zombies, so they truly were like a virus. As for the cost... Luke only spent fifty points of mana to summon a single one. That didn’t seem right... It was cheap.
"I suppose even my intelligence affects the cost of this skill... Otherwise, it would be too weird for a zombie to need this much mana to be created," Luke nodded to himself.
Regardless, after sending the zombie to the real world, Luke tried to summon a giant. A lot of his mana was drained in a single instant, but it somehow worked. He had to spend around one thousand points to summon one, but they were many times stronger than a zombie.

It was kind of unfair that they could be that strong at level ten. Regardless, Luke experienced too many things until now to complain about something like that. The world is unfair, the universe is unfair, and he just has to live with it. In any case, in a world like that, the giants probably won’t last long since it was cold as it could be, and they seemed like they came from a tropical place, so Luke decided to summon some Koriri. They had high resistance to cold and could fly, after all. Not to mention the long-ranged attacks. The enemies there might have some resistance to ice attacks, but not to cuts, pieces, or blunt trauma that it can cause.
Luke summoned the Koriris for quite a while. He wished that the mana clone could do that since he decided to stay until the skill reached level five and then had to take a break since he stayed there for around ten hours to summon around two thousand of them. Summoning worked to make the skill level up, but making the monsters fight was even better.
"I guess leaving them here, for the time being, will suffice..." Luke thought.
While taking his notebook, Luke thought that he also should add some more details on the worlds he had been to in case he felt the need to return to them for whatever reason, even if that was pretty unlikely. Once that was done, Luke went to the next world, and he suddenly frowned when he saw that the sky was dark, even though there was a star similar to the sun nearby on that planet. As if that wasn’t crazy enough, Luke suddenly saw a massive flash of light taking place in the distance, and then an explosion happened... The massive explosion increased in size until it became the size of something akin to a nuclear explosion... a mere few instants later, the atmosphere itself of that world began to tremble.
"What the hell..." Luke said while furrowing his eyebrows.
He had no idea what was going on, but another massive explosion of that escape happened again and again. It seemed that some troublesome individual was there fighting and using those spells. Luke assumed that after realizing that the mana was too thick on that planet.
Luke hadn’t leveled up Magic Resistance that much for him to be able to survive if he got hit by something of that level, but in the end, he couldn’t afford to retreat from any enemy. So, he made his flying fortress head there...
