Chapter 449: The Unchained Inheritance
"I have located the Deacon and the Ancestors of Celestial and Scavenger," Crul’s voice echoed in the silent crater.
Ethan’s eyes flared with a lethal, violet light. His delicate features didn’t soften the blow of his killing intent; they made it more unsettling. "Where? I want them erased from existence."
"They are entrenched in a mountain range 300 kilometers to the northwest," Crul replied.
"How did you find them? Those old rats are experts at playing dead."
"They were cautious for months, but they made the fatal mistake of entering one of our controlled zones to gather intelligence. They used physical disguises and aura-masking techniques, but they did not account for our facial recognition algorithms and bio-resonance scanners. Seeing through such primitive tricks was... trivial."
"Excellent," Ethan hissed, his new crystalline muscles coiling. "I’ll hunt them down immediately. Is there anything else I need to know before I leave?"
"Yes, Master. Due to the massive influx of ’nutrients’ from the battlefield—millions of dead cultivators—the Worm Queen has shifted her entire focus to production. We have implemented a 70-30 split. Thirty percent of the Nectar is reserved for her brood’s evolution; the remaining seventy percent has been used to create our super-soldier legions. We currently have over 850,000 augmented troops, and that number grows daily."
Ethan nodded, impressed. "And the brood? Are the Queen’s offspring worth the investment, or are they still just fodder?"
"They were fragile only against you and high-level lightning users, Master," Crul explained. "Until they reach maturity and develop their real carapace, they are vulnerable to electricity. However, against standard forces, they are monsters. They can shrug off blows from anyone in the Body Refinement realm. Even a Spirit Gathering cultivator at the Spirit Mist stage would struggle to kill one without specialized techniques. Furthermore, I have provided them with the recipe for Enhanced Worm Nectar to accelerate their growth."
Ethan’s brow furrowed. "The Enhanced Nectar? How much did that blueprint cost me? My Lux Points were nearly depleted."
"That is the other matter I must report," Crul said, her voice dropping into a tone that suggested deep calculation. "The System’s restrictions have been... compromised. All knowledge, blueprints, and vaults are now fully accessible. You are no longer limited by Lux Point purchases. Even the Final Technique—the one meant to be locked behind a lifetime of impossible tasks—has been released."
Ethan stopped mid-stride. "Unlocked? How? You’re the System administrator, Crul. If you didn’t do it, who did?"
"I am not entirely certain, but the ’keys’ to those resources were outside my primary control. It appears that during your trial with the World Matrix, the sheer pressure of the Laws forced a forced-integration. The ’System’ didn’t just unlock; it merged. In fact, it is already fully integrated into your new biology."
"Explain. I’m not following," Ethan demanded.
"Your body, Master," Crul said, projecting a scan of his glowing skeleton. "The ’K-pop idol’ look that surprised you is merely the surface. What you possess now is the most valuable legacy of Lord Amethyst—the secret he found in that place. You are no longer a human who uses the Void. You are a Full Amethyst Void Body. I do not understand why the World Laws granted you the complete inheritance instead of a fragment, though I have... several terrifying suppositions."
[Your Amethyst Body has fused perfectly with the Void inheritance you obtained from the Void Nightmare] Crul continued.
[The resulting Full Amethyst Void Body is an unprecedented bloodline. The statistical probability of a successful fusion between these two polar-opposite energies is practically zero. There are no records of such a physique in any known database. You must explore its capabilities yourself; it will be up to you to forge the path ahead.]
Ethan listened, his eyes narrowing as he felt the silent power thrumming beneath his skin. "And what about Lord Amethyst? What was his original path?"
[Lord Amethyst’s inheritance was the Pure Yin-Devouring Amethyst Body. According to the records he deciphered from that ancient cave, this physique belonged to a primordial race from the Immortal Era that vanished mysteriously. Lord Amethyst never discovered why they were erased from history, but he unlocked their unique ability: the capacity to devour Yin.]
Ethan blinked. "Yin? You mean..."
[Precisely. What you colloquially refer to as ’princess water’ or female climax secretions. When a woman reaches the height of arousal and hits her climax, she releases Yin energy. However, a woman can only release Pure Yin once—the moment a man claims her ’fruit’ and she loses her virginity. That initial surge is a concentrated burst of primordial essence. After that, she can only produce trace amounts of common Yin. The stronger and more talented the maiden, the more powerful her Pure Yin will be.]
Crul’s projection flickered, showing a diagram of energy flow.
[[ This is why Lord Amethyst’s cultivation path focused entirely on harvesting the Yin of virgins, bedding as many high-tier women as possible to fuel his meteoric rise in power. However, Master... your body is now fundamentally different. We do not yet know the specific deviations caused by the Void element. The original technique of Lord Amethyst has been unlocked and delivered to you; it will serve as your foundation, but you must find a way to refine it into something perfect for your unique physique. ]]
Ethan stood frozen, a rare sense of shock washing over him. Up until now, he had relied entirely on the System to "learn" for him. He didn’t truly understand the mechanics of how techniques were constructed or how spiritual channels were mapped—he just clicked ’Buy’ and let the knowledge download.
Now, the safety rails were gone. He was standing at the edge of a vast, dark ocean with a body that was one-of-a-kind in the universe, and he was the only one who could draw the map.
"So," Ethan muttered, a dark, hungry grin slowly replacing his shock. "I have the foundation of a man who conquered worlds by bedding goddesses, fused with the power of a Void that can erase reality... and I have to figure out how to make them dance together."
He looked toward the northwest, toward the mountains where his enemies were hiding.
"I think I’ve found the perfect motivation to start experimenting."
