Augustine came up behind Su Yaoyao and gently drew her into his embrace. His voice was both soft and resolute. "Yaoyao, you deserve the very best."

Su Yaoyao’s face flushed scarlet in an instant. Augustine was bare-chested, and only a thin layer of fabric separated their bodies.

She could clearly feel his firm, warm muscles. Droplets of water from his recent bath still clung to his skin, some of which dampened her clothes, creating a unique sensation that sent her heart into a frantic, chaotic rhythm. It pounded like a drum.

Watching her blush so bashfully, Augustine found her exceptionally alluring at that moment, as if drawn to her by an invisible magic.

He slowly raised a hand to her chin, his touch gentle yet firm, permitting no resistance as he guided her face toward him.

Then, Augustine leaned down, his lips meeting hers in a deep and searing kiss.

Su Yaoyao’s breath hitched, her mind going completely blank.

He parted her lips with ease, tasting her sweetness.

Kissed until her vision blurred and her legs grew weak, Su Yaoyao could only lean against Augustine’s strong frame for support.

A flutter of panic went through her, however, and she weakly pushed against his chest.

Sensing her resistance, Augustine released her lips. He rested his head on her shoulder, breathing heavily as he inhaled the sweet fragrance of the young female.

"Your Majesty... I should be going," Su Yaoyao said, her voice breathy with emotion.

Augustine’s voice was a low, husky whisper in her ear. "Yaoyao, you don’t want to sleep alone, do you?"

A jolt went through Su Yaoyao’s heart. She couldn’t help but think of her empty bedchambers, where a coldness that seemed to seep into her very bones would settle in at night. She truly didn’t want to face that endless chill and loneliness by herself anymore.

"Sleep here with me. I don’t want to be alone either. Stay with me, Yaoyao." Augustine’s voice was laced with a kind of magic, gently tugging at her heartstrings.

In that moment, as if driven by some unseen force, Su Yaoyao gave a slight, almost involuntary nod, agreeing to his request.

The corners of Augustine’s lips curved upward, his eyes filled with tenderness and affection.

He gently swept Su Yaoyao into his arms and carried her to the magnificent bed.

They slept in each other’s arms. Augustine simply held her close, making no move to cross any boundaries.

In his warm embrace, Su Yaoyao gradually relaxed. She slowly closed her eyes, basking in a unique sense of security and warmth.

She soon drifted into a deep sleep. For the first time in a long while, she slept soundly through the night, no longer tossing and turning with longing for her Beast Husbands.

Augustine gazed at the tranquil expression on Su Yaoyao’s face as she slept in his arms, and a smile touched his lips unbidden. He gently brushed a strand of hair from her forehead, his eyes full of doting affection.

An unknown amount of time later, the first rays of morning sunlight slipped through the heavy curtains, quietly falling across the bed.

Su Yaoyao’s eyes fluttered open. Before her mind was fully awake, she registered the strong arm wrapped around her waist and the warm chest pressed against her back.

She froze for a second, and then everything from the night before came flooding back. A blush instantly crept up her face to the tips of her ears.

She tried to carefully slip out of Augustine’s embrace, but her movement inadvertently woke the light-sleeping man.

Augustine slowly opened his wine-red eyes, his gaze still hazy and gentle with sleep, and met Su Yaoyao’s flustered stare.

"Morning," Augustine’s voice was low and raspy, tinged with the laziness of someone who had just woken up.

"Morning..." Su Yaoyao whispered in reply, ducking her head so low it nearly disappeared into the blankets. Her heart was a whirlwind of shyness and panic. She had never imagined spending a night in such intimacy with Augustine, and the current situation was far too suggestive.

Augustine seemed to sense her predicament. A slight smile played on his lips as he loosened his arm from around her.

Taking the opportunity, Su Yaoyao quickly sat up and straightened her slightly disheveled clothes, still not daring to meet Augustine’s gaze.

Suddenly, as if struck by a thought, Su Yaoyao slapped her forehead and gasped, "Oh no, I’m going to be late for the signing event!" With that, she scrambled out of bed and began frantically looking for her clothes.

Augustine watched her frantic movements with curiosity, raising an eyebrow. "What signing event?"

Su Yaoyao froze, cursing inwardly. For a moment, she didn’t know how to explain. After a slight hesitation, she stammered, "It’s for a streamer I like. His photobook is being released today, and there’s a signing event."

Augustine’s eyebrow twitched. The image of the streamer’s live broadcast he’d seen on Su Yaoyao’s Light Computer flashed through his mind. A smirk touched his lips. "You mean that rather... risqué streamer?"

Su Yaoyao’s face instantly burned crimson. She was so mortified she wanted the floor to swallow her whole.

How could she have forgotten that Augustine had seen Lucia’s broadcast? She opened her mouth to try and defend herself but didn’t know what to say.

"I’ll go with you," Augustine said suddenly, his tone leaving no room for argument.

"What? How can you do that? You’re the king of an entire nation!" Su Yaoyao’s eyes went wide with astonishment as she stared at Augustine, finding the suggestion utterly unbelievable.

Augustine looked at her, his expression earnest and solemn. "In my heart," he said slowly, "you are the interstellar saintess, far more important than any king. I am an SSS-level powerhouse. I can only rest assured of your safety if I accompany you myself. If anything were to happen to you, how could I face my people? How could I face your Beast Husbands?"

Su Yaoyao was moved by his words, and a warm feeling spread through her heart.

She thought for a moment and realized he had a point. Her status was sensitive, and having him by her side would indeed guarantee her safety.

And so, she gave a small nod, accepting his proposal.

With that settled, the two of them began to prepare their disguises.

Augustine retrieved two long robes from the wardrobe—understated but well-made—and handed one to Su Yaoyao.

Su Yaoyao quickly changed into it.

Augustine then produced two exquisite masks, handing one to her.

The masks covered the upper halves of their faces, leaving only their eyes and mouths visible.

As they looked at their disguised reflections in the mirror, Su Yaoyao and Augustine exchanged a glance, and a subtle feeling passed between them.

Once they were ready, they left the bedchambers together and took a flying car toward the location of the signing event.

Meanwhile, at the venue for the signing event, Lucia was waiting with great anticipation for Su Yaoyao’s arrival. He had carefully prepared a special gift, hoping to give her a wonderful surprise.
