Chapter 80: Chapter 80: Yao Yao Healing Clinic Reopens

Inside the castle of Snake Scale City, Su Yaoyao pushed open the window and breathed in the fresh air. It was another bright and sunny day.

She had been training hard recently, and her spiritual power had grown much stronger.

She decided to go to the market today, set up a small stall, and reopen the Yao Yao Healing Clinic.

After all, using her abilities to help the Beastmen might just be her purpose in this world.

Su Yaoyao knew full well how complex Snake Scale City was and that many of its inhabitants detested females. So, before leaving, she carefully inspected her handgun and tucked it into her waistband—her weapon for self-defense.

Once at the market, Su Yaoyao deftly set up her small stall in a prominent spot.

She cleared her throat and began to call out, "Come one, come all! Tell me your troubles, and I’ll ease your worries! And it’s free, completely free!"

Her voice was crisp and clear, standing out distinctly amidst the clamor of the market.

However, the male Beastmen passing by merely shot her a few curious glances from a distance; not one of them dared to approach her stall.

A look of frustration slowly crept onto Su Yaoyao’s face. She gazed out at the bustling market, her heart sinking with disappointment. Just as she was at a loss for what to do, a familiar figure came into view.

It was the clothing store owner. The Old Peacock, remembering that Su Yaoyao had helped him, had come specifically to lend his support.

The Peacock Boss approached with elegant strides, a gentle smile on his face. "Miss Su."

Su Yaoyao’s eyes lit up as if she’d just seen her savior. "You’re just in time, Peacock Boss! You can tell me about any troubles you might have."

The peacock touched his rear and said, looking troubled, "I just wish my tail feathers would grow in faster. It’s making me very anxious."

Su Yaoyao couldn’t help but smile, then said with a serious expression, "Don’t be anxious. Allow me to clear away those negative emotions for you."

With that, she clasped hands with the Peacock Boss, closed her eyes, and focused on channeling her spiritual power.

In a short while, the deep furrow in the Peacock Boss’s brow gradually smoothed out, replaced by a confident smile.

"So what if my rear is bare? I’m still the most fabulous boss on this street," the Peacock Boss said, holding his head high and puffing out his chest with confidence.

Witnessing this miraculous scene, the surrounding male Beastmen couldn’t help but start whispering among themselves. "Is this for real?" "This little female actually has some power."

This was a spiritual power soothing! They had never imagined that this seemingly fragile little female would be so generous, willing to soothe them—males who had long been forgotten and cast aside.

Soon, a long line began to form in front of Su Yaoyao.

A satisfied smile spread across Su Yaoyao’s face as she patiently performed a spiritual power soothing for each male Beastman, chatting warmly with them all the while.

Through her conversations with these Beastmen, she learned more about Snake Scale City and came to understand the pain and longing buried deep within their hearts.

Meanwhile, from the shadows, two pairs of eyes were watching her intently.

It was Mingye and Noah. The two of them had been following her silently ever since she stepped out of the castle.

They wanted to see what Su Yaoyao was up to, and whether she would use this as an opportunity to escape.

But the scene before them took them by surprise—Su Yaoyao was actually healing the city’s Beastmen.

The sight sent an unexpected wave of warmth through their cold hearts.

"Next," Su Yaoyao said, wiping the sweat from her brow. Her voice was tinged with fatigue, but her eyes still shone with enthusiasm.

A tall, burly, bull-headed Beastman sat down before her, his eyes betraying his impatience.

"And what is your trouble?" Su Yaoyao asked softly.

"I don’t have any. I just want the soothing!" the bull-headed Beastman bellowed, slamming a fist on the table. He clearly had an explosive temper.

"Alright, I’ll soothe you right now." Without a moment’s hesitation, Su Yaoyao placed her hands on his and began to channel her spiritual power.

A moment later, she released his hands and prepared to call for the next person. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

"Wait! I want more!" the bull-headed Beastman insisted, his tone laced with menace.

Su Yaoyao had been carefully rationing her spiritual power in order to soothe as many Beastmen as possible without quickly exhausting herself.

"I’ll be here again tomorrow. You can come back then," Su Yaoyao explained patiently.

"No, I want it today, or I’ll snap your arm in two." With that, he gripped Su Yaoyao’s hand fiercely. His strength was so great she couldn’t break free.

The other male Beastmen were startled by his actions, freezing in shock for a moment.

Seeing this from the shadows, Noah’s eyes flew wide with rage. His eight tentacles unfurled uncontrollably, and he looked ready to rush out and tear the male Beastman to shreds, but Mingye grabbed him and held him back.

"Why are you stopping me?!" Noah roared furiously.

"She can handle this herself," Mingye’s voice was deep and calm. His gaze remained fixed on Su Yaoyao, a flicker of trust in his eyes.

Su Yaoyao winced in pain, but then her expression hardened. Her free hand shot to her waist, drawing the handgun and aiming it steadily at the male Beastman’s forehead.

"Go ahead and try," Su Yaoyao’s voice was ice-cold, her eyes showing not a shred of fear. "I might lose an arm, but you’ll lose your life."

The male Beastman stared in shock at the deadly Pulse Gun. A chill ran down his spine, and he instinctively released Su Yaoyao’s hand.

At that moment, the male Beastmen Su Yaoyao had healed snapped back to their senses. They rushed forward, tackled the troublemaker to the ground, and began to beat him.

"The female Su Yaoyao is a good person! She’s helped so many of us, and you repay her kindness with violence!"

"Don’t you give us males a bad name!"

Seeing this, Su Yaoyao quickly shouted, "Okay, okay, stop fighting!" Only then did the crowd stop.

Su Yaoyao slowly crouched down, gazing at the pathetic-looking bull-headed Beastman before her.

The bull-headed Beastman’s face was now covered in bruises and scrapes from the beating. His already tattered clothes had been torn even more in the scuffle. He hung his head, his large frame curled up, looking utterly helpless.

Su Yaoyao took a deep breath, trying her best to soften her voice, as if she were soothing a wounded animal.

"I know you have a prejudice against females. Perhaps you were hurt by something in your past. But I want you to understand that not all females are the way you think.

I came here because I genuinely want to help everyone. I also hope we can all put aside our prejudices and live together in peace."

The bull-headed Beastman kept his head down, silent for a long while. Finally, he whispered, "In the past... females always looked down on me."

Su Yaoyao gently patted his shoulder. "That’s all in the past. From now on, things will be different."

The surrounding male Beastmen, who had been so rowdy just moments before, fell silent upon hearing Su Yaoyao’s sincere words.

Deep within their hearts, it was as if a warm current had silently washed over them, touched by Su Yaoyao’s kindness and sincerity.
