Lying beside Klein on the grass beside Klein, Elfaria’s gaze slowly shifted from her own panel to his Arbiter panel.

Her eyes scanned through it and saw the affinity to spirits and curses.

"...You really are a mess," she muttered under her breath as a fond, exasperated smile tugged at the corner of her mouth.

"Only you could awaken something like this. Spirit-Cursed Sovereign..."

But then her gaze stopped "...What the hell?"

[MESSAGES]

[The Seraph of Eternal Regret is watching you with trembling eyes.]

[The First Fallen of the Underworld is watching you.]

[The First Fallen of the Underworld congratulates you on your first victory.]

Her gaze narrowed slightly "Seraph of Eternal Regret? You know that cunt was against us in the Great War."

"She and her faction tried to wipe us out more than once."

Simily wryly, he replied "I just happened to awaken at her temple."

Elfaria sat up slightly and stared at the messages "Irakiel... what is this?"

"Also, the First Fallen of the Underworld... Azara? She’s watching you? And congratulating you?"

Klein smiled gently, sliding his hand to rest on her waist and slipping his fingers beneath the edge of her silver robes to find her warm skin.

He squeezed her as he looked up into those beautiful, troubled green eyes.

"Yeah... Azara has been watching me since the moment I awakened. I made a deal with them in my past life. I sold my soul to all three of them at once, using a loophole so that none of them could fully claim it. A three-way stalemate."

"That’s why I can’t die easily and have this trait," he said, pointing at the panel.

﹄ Lost from Death: Your soul has slipped through the grasp of Death itself. You exist in a state of limbo... neither fully alive nor claimed by the afterlife.

You can’t die, making you a pseudo-immortal.

Grant extreme resistance to instant death effects and soul-based attacks.

Elfaria stared at him in silence, and she let out a shaky breath, gripping his collar and pulling him closer until their faces were inches apart.

"You absolute lunatic! Why would you do something like that?"

With a sigh, he replied "At that time, I did that for Zrryha. I bargained my soul for the energy needed to awaken her 7th constellation. It was the only way to give her the power she needed in those final days of the war."

"But in the end, she used that constellation to reincarnate me."

Elfaria’s grip tightened further, and she gritted her teeth in anger, her silver hair falling around them like a curtain as rage flooded her face.

"That damned bitch, Zrryha..." she hissed under her breath.

"Because of her, you kept suffering and you died in pain on that battlefield. If it’s not for her, I would have had you too... completely."

Her green eyes flashed with light as her power stirred unconsciously around them, making the nearby flowers glow brighter.

A cold glint passed through her eyes "Everything is because of that one woman. The next time I see her... I will kill her myself and rip her to pieces."

Klein cupped the back of her neck with one hand and pulled her down as she buried her face into his neck.

He closed his eyes for a moment. ’At that time, I was obsessed with her... she was also obsessed with me.’

The memory of Zrryha’s final moments flashed behind his eyelids ’That’s why she even ripped her heart and made me reincarnate...’

Then he opened his eyes and softly patted Elfaria’s head, his fingers threading gently through her hair.

She responded immediately, snuggling deeper into him with a small, needy sound as she pressed her body closer to him.

"Never mind that," she whispered against his ear. "I am with you... that’s all I wanted."

A few seconds later, Elfaria tilted her head slightly "That reminds me, what’s up with your High-elf race?"

Looking at her, Klein shook his head "I don’t know either."

A slight frown appeared on Elfaria’s face as she propped herself on one elbow "Elves hate half-breeds. So I guess your Mother and father left you in Human Domain to save you."

"And since you are High-elf you must be from the Royal family or one of the Great Houses... or at least a relative of them. There aren’t many pure High Elf bloodlines left."

"Abandoning or hiding a child in the Human Domain is one of the few ways to protect them from political enemies or accusations of impurity."

Upon hearing this, his gaze condensed "Well, in the future I would like to meet my real parents if they are still alive."

She pinched his cheek playfully "I would also like to meet your other girlfriends."

Klein laughed softly, catching her hand and bringing it to his lips to kiss her fingers one by one. "You’re already planning the family meeting, huh? First Wife."

She grinned and shifted smoothly, moving to hover over him more comfortably before settling down, sitting lightly on his abdomen.

Her hands rested on his chest for balance "But before that, we need to explain to Orpheus about us..."

"Hmm, maybe we can make up something like we were childhood sweethearts when we were in the Elf domain, but then we got separated or something."

"Since you are a half-elf, it will make it more believable."

With a thoughtful look, he nodded "Sure."

Elfaria’s smile widened. She leaned down and pinched his nose affectionately, giggling at the way it made his expression scrunch up.

"Besides that," she asked, still perched on top of him, "why are you still at F rank?"

Klein let out a soft sigh, his hands resting on her thighs as he looked up at her "I awakened just a week ago."

Elfaria’s expression softened with understanding "I see..."

She released his nose and instead cupped his face with both hands, her thumbs gently stroking his cheeks. "Oh, by the way, I am using the Five Mana Core technique."

With a chuckle, he replied "I am using the same."

She giggled, pinching his lower lip between her fingers "Perks of being reincarnated, I guess."

"Do you know good methods for body strengthening, Irakiel?"

"I do, I actually wanted to do one."

"Oh... share it with me, let’s cultivate together."

---

Sitting on the grass along with them, Orpheus listened in silence, "Oh my..."

She tilted her head, "So you two were childhood sweethearts in the Elf Domain, separated by fate, and now you’ve found each other again in the Spirit Realm."

Elfaria nodded her head with a smile "That’s what happened. It’s a great coincidence."

Orpheus chuckled softly, her hand resting on her chin as she looked at them with a fond expression.

"Then I am happy for both of you."

Elfaria moved forward without hesitation and hugged Orpheus tightly. "Thank you, Mother."

Klein sat there, momentarily dumbfounded. ’She calls her Mother?’

Orpheus smiled warmly and returned the hug.

After a moment, she gently released Elfaria and turned her gaze toward Klein before opening her arms invitingly.

"Hug me."

With a dry smile, Klein leaned in and hugged her.

He immediately felt her soft, mature figure and the way her full breasts squished warmly against his chest.

The embrace was surprisingly comforting, filled with pure, nurturing spirit energy that soothed his cursed heart.

When they pulled back, Elfaria immediately pulled Klein back toward her side.

She leaned in close and whispered into his ear, "You are not planning to make her your wife too, right?"

Klein’s gaze flickered over to Orpheus, who was watching them with a warm smile.

"I mean... she has some nice tits."

Elfaria pinched his side hard enough to make him flinch, though she couldn’t quite hide the amused smile on her lips.

"You scoundrel."
