"You’re going too far, Mika...!"

Ren, the son of Zhen and a fellow candidate, tried to talk it out with Mika, whom he got to know during his stay at the Hayths.

"He doesn’t look like he’d listen to us."

A man the same age as Lereon, who was the candidate for the plant mage, gently brushed off Ren and directed his hostile gaze at Mika, who in turn, drew Excalibur.

Two girls, who were not much older than Mika and were labeled candidates for each the position of the earth and wind mage, combined their magic in order to attack Mika.

The whole room was in chaos as strong wind gathered in the hands of the girls. Additionally, sharp and rough-shaped rocks were mixed in the wind.

"..."

But unfazed, Mika tossed Excalibur in the air.

"Huh...?"

The girls were dumbfounded when the wind suddenly disappeared.

Making use of the confusion, Mika rushed to them, grabbed Excalibur and raised in the air. With a blank gaze, he was about to cut them down mercilessly, however, roots wrapped themselves around his wrists, hindering his movement.

When he slightly looked back, Mika saw Lereon controlling those roots.

Mika switched to the spear.

And after exhaling quietly, Mika disappeared from their sight only to appear shortly afterward behind Lereon.

"?!"

Mika swung the spear from the side, hitting Lereon’s abdomen. Following that, Lereon was quickly catapulted outside the room through the room’s entrance.

Zack and Wendy, the guards, did not blink once when Lereon flew right past them.

Meanwhile, Mika teleported himself behind the previous two girls and touched their shoulders.

The girl with the earth magic could not even express her surprise as she vanished from the spot.

"No way..." she muttered in disbelief as she found herself on the other side of the thick wall.

She was sent outside high up in the sky. If no one would help her, she would die once she landed on the hard ground.

"W-what did you do to her?!"

The other girl was losing it and threw a weak and desperate punch at him.

"I’m surprised, too." Mika remarked indifferently after catching her fist.

It was the first time that he used his teleportation ability on another living person. He only had a strange feeling that he could pull it off.

"Ugh!"

He rammed his knee into her stomach and then threw her against the wall with so much force that she actually crashed through it.

"H-help...!"

"!"

After being sent outside, she noticed the earth mage candidate slightly below her. She immediately applied wind magic on both of them to decrease the speed at which they were falling.

"B-behind you!"

"Huh?"

Mika was following right after them with his leg retracted.

"I won’t let you!"

The plant mage candidate tried to pull Mika back to them with roots. That way, the girls could evade the potential kick.

However, the roots were not fast enough.

The kick connected, albeit partly, and the girls were slammed to the ground, creating a crater beneath their bodies.

Mika used Excalibur to destroy the roots on his leg and used his now multiple wings to fly back to the others.

"You bastard...!" Loram grumbled wrathfully.

Now, four official members and two candidates were left.

"..."

Elsa, Sara and Ophelia still distanced themselves from the fight and watched.

"I don’t like doing this but it seems like you won’t stay down otherwise." Zhen stated, sounding sterner than usual as he charged at Mika.

Eliza, the new earth mage, attacked Mika from the other side, trying to coordinate herself with Zhen.

"..."

Mika narrowed his eyes as he had to fight Zhen more seriously. The two exchanged physical blows instead of relying on magic and weapons. And because of that, it seemed like Zhen could hold his own against Mika.

But he simultaneously had to use Excalibur to fend off the magic attacks from Eliza.

And after a short while, it looked like Zhen was pushed back by Mika as his attacks became sharper and more wild at the same time.

"...!"

Zhen had to grimace after Mika landed a heavy blow in his stomach.

"..."

Mika stretched his hand to Eliza as if he was ordering something.

"!"

Eliza noticed attacks coming from above and instinctively erected an earth wall.

However, Mika switched back to the Holy Spear.

"Enlarge."

Holding the spear horizontally, the spear increased its size as it was aimed at Eliza.

Zhen was crushed against the wall until he, too, was outside the building.

But Eliza managed to dodge.

"Shrink."

"What else can he do...?" she wondered baffledly.

She lost her focus for one moment, whereas Mika drew his silver sword, whose peak was gathering lightning magic which was on the level of an S-rank based on the quality.

And because she was distracted at that moment, she was hit by the lightning beam.

After her partly burnt body lied on the ground, Loram and the other two candidates approached Mika.

"I really don’t want to fight you here but I can’t just watch you beating up the others, including my father!" Ren stated bitterly, retracting his fist.

The other two had a stern look on their faces as they launched magic attacks.

"..."

Mika ducked in order to dodge Ren and at the same time, he used the momentum to get close to Loram and the plant mage candidate.

Drawing Excalibur once more, Mika negated their attacks and used his other magic-enhanced sword to slash the candidate.

"Mika!"

Ren shouted as he attempted a kick to the temple from behind.

Even if he did not hear him, Mika knew what Ren was doing. Therefore, he just simply raised his arm and knocked against Ren’s ankle.

"!"

Ren retreated and then held his ankle tightly.

"What is his body made of...?!"

Mika’s body turned into something different. Not only was it much stronger but also much sturdier.

With Ren down, Mika focused on Loram.

"Again!"

Mika appeared behind him thanks to his ability.

"H-huh...?"

Loram thought that he had seen through Mika’s attack pattern but reality betrayed him when he did not find Mika behind him. After all, Mika disappeared quickly again and got on the other side of Loram.

"Ack!"

A punch connected with Loram’s abdomen.

But before he could stumble to the back Mika grabbed his arm and pulled Loram close to him again. Then, he launched a barrage of punches until Loram’s upper body was wobbling around.

Mika thrust his knee again into the stomach, making Loram fall to his knees.

And to finish him off, Mika quickly twisted on the spot and used the rotation to kick Loram from the side.

"..."

Olivia, who was mostly just observing the fights, narrowed her eyes after she analyzed Mika’s fighting style.

"You crazy fool really beat almost every one of us." she stated sternly with a frown.

Even Ren pulled back from fighting as he saw no opening.

"Watching you fight was quite intriguing nonetheless."

Olivia slowly walked over to Mika.

"Not only did you gain new abilities and strength but it seems like you learned a particular fighting style..."

It felt like she was interrogating Mika.

But that was obvious as she saw her fighting style in his which was due to the fact that Mika once copied Olivia’s fighting style while he was in Grat.

She took off her big white coat and cracked her body.

"At first, I thought of scolding you for disrespecting the Grand Order, however, after seeing you fighting I began to burn with the desire to fight you with everything I have." she stated.

Now, she was smirking excitingly and threateningly from one ear to the other.

"..."

Mika remained unbothered.

"S-shouldn’t we stop here?" Ophelia asked after assessing the situation.

She was concerned.

Almost everyone was beaten by Mika while Mika was still perfectly fine. Only Olivia was left but even she should know herself that she could not win against someone who wiped the floor with most of the group.

"Just leave her be." Elsa remarked apathetically, still sitting on her seat with her arms crossed.

Sara was standing behind her with an also unbothered expression.

"But..."

Then, Lereon entered the place again. And after him, the rest came back one after another. They may have suffered some damage and injuries, however, their gazes told that they were far from done.

Loram was the only exception after receiving a thorough beating.

"Fighting without any killing intent has proven to fire back on us." Lereon said sternly.

Roots emerged beneath his feet. These roots, however, seemed strange as they emitted a strange energy.

"That’s enough, guys. It’s my turn now." Olivia said with her smirk widening.

The others sensed the tension in the air and thus, stopped moving from their spots.

"It’s been a while since our last fight, right?"

Mika nodded.

"You were handed a loss if I remember correctly."

She cracked her fingers.

"Let’s see if the results will be the same today."

"Do you really want to do this?"

It was his signal for her to stop as he wanted to spare her from a complete humiliation.

Their legs clashed as both launched kicks.

"Enough talking."
