Finn Ford suddenly perked up, whispering, "We’re going to hear about yesterday’s test scores! You were working on that test until 2 AM, right? Wonder how much you scored."

Ronan Kingston didn’t say anything, but his expression clearly showed he wanted to know his score too.

Inside the classroom, Mio Osborne’s voice rang out, "First place, Willow Grant, 90 points."

The class erupted into scattered applause.

Although they didn’t particularly like Willow Grant, no one could deny her prowess in academics, and so some of them applauded.

After the applause died down, Mio Osborne spoke again, "Second place, Victor Ford, 88 points."

"Third place..."

"Fourth place..."

When he reached sixth place, Mio Osborne mentioned Holly Holloway’s name.

Yet Holly didn’t appear happy in the least; her gaze involuntarily drifted to where Summer Monroe usually sat.

If Summer were here, she’d surely be in first place.

I wonder if Summer can make it here for tomorrow’s test...

Holly started feeling a bit melancholic.

Outside the classroom.

Finn Ford had been anxiously listening to Mio Osborne read out the scores, but he never heard Ronan Kingston’s name even by the time the last name was announced.

Scratching his head in confusion, he asked Ronan Kingston, "Did you forget to submit your test?"

"No," Ronan replied, frowning, "I was the first to submit."

Yesterday’s test was particularly tough; the last question still stumped him even after reflecting on it this morning, so he decided to give up and turned in his test to Willow Grant.

Unless Willow deliberately failed to submit his test.

But that couldn’t be; Willow isn’t foolish enough to do something that would be so easily exposed.

Just then, Mio Osborne’s voice echoed once more—

"Everyone did quite well in this test, even the last place scored 81 points, which isn’t a low score given the difficulty of this test. But... there’s one student’s score I haven’t announced, because he scored even better than Willow Grant."

Ronan’s back went rigid as the class erupted in amazement.

Someone asked, "Then why not announce that person’s score?"

"Heh." Mio Osborne snickered, "The questions for this test were sourced online, but the last question was created by me. This student got every online question right, but left my unique question blank. It’s quite clear... he sourced the answers online!"

In that instant, Ronan’s expression became exceedingly unpleasant.

Finn wasn’t dense; he knew Mio was accusing Ronan of cheating.

Unable to hold it in any longer, he stormed in and confronted Mio, "Mio Osborne! How can you accuse Ronan of cheating? Last night, Ronan worked on this test until the early morning and was still contemplating the last question while brushing his teeth. You may not think much of me, but I’m admittedly not a stellar student. But Ronan worked so hard; how can you slander him like this?!"

"Finn Ford!" Mio Osborne’s temple pulsed, "Who gave you the permission to call your teacher’s name so blatantly?"

"And who gave you the permission to slander your student so casually?"

"Slander?" Mio chuckled coldly, "You two got into this class through connections and still scoring higher than the students I meticulously selected? You think accusing him of cheating is slander? Who would believe that?!"

"Zhuo Zhuo!" Zhuo Zhuo was Finn’s nickname.

Ronan called out to Finn, whispering, "Let it be, it’s not worth it!"

Mio chortled with derision, "See? Even your friend is feeling guilty."
