My breathing was ragged as I got up from the floor inside the training room of my dormitory.

Certainly, my arsenal of Traits has increased quite a lot.

But it still doesn’t compare to Lumina’s arsenal of Traits. As a regressor, she has acquired hundreds of Traits.

Since Traits are inherently tied to the soul, Lumina doesn’t need to awaken them from the beginning.

Slowly, all of those Traits accumulated until, at some point, she ended up possessing hundreds of them.

’And according to my memories, in one of her dialogues she says that she doesn’t even use 10% of all her Traits; she only uses the ones she considers the most powerful.’

And, of course, the most useful ones.

Anyway, getting back to the topic.

There were two updates regarding two specific Traits. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

The first Trait was Emotionless.

Previously, its Mastery was at the Perfection rank and, perhaps because of what happened back then with Isabella, its Mastery dropped to the Master rank.

I hadn’t realized it until days after leaving the Memory Gate.

I felt that my emotions were more vulnerable; it was easier to feel them or for them to surface.

Although I didn’t mind it, what I did find interesting was that its Mastery rank had decreased.

That means other Traits could also lose Mastery if something unexpected happens.

’I still don’t know exactly why. This had never happened before, neither in the game nor in any historical record.’

In any case, that Trait’s rank had decreased, and now I was naturally a little more expressive.

But perhaps because everyone was used to it, no one seemed to notice any change, especially Rinna.

And the second Trait that underwent a change was Eyes of the End.

I thought about the Trait, and the screen in my imagination changed, displaying different information.

Yes, somehow, right at the moment Isabella died, the system appeared in my imagination.

At the time, I had ignored it, but not long ago I remembered it.

From what I’ve read, the active effect is like a clairvoyance ability, but it isn’t tied solely to the future.

It also affects the present and the past.

Another thing: one of the side effects was also removed.

I have no idea which one it was, since I’ve only experienced one of the three side effects.

And that particular side effect left me vulnerable for 48 hours, in addition to turning me into an eight-year-old child.

’Mhm, the only thing I know is that the eyes, or the eye-related Trait Isabella had, according to Luminus’s words, seem to have some connection to the Eyes of the End.’

But whatever it is, I now have a clue that might help me unlock the other two active effects.

And that clue is to search for users with some kind of eye-related Trait.

If Isabella had an eye-related Trait, then that’s probably the path to unlocking the remaining active effects.

’I still haven’t tested the new effect, but the problem with using it is that I’d have to activate the eyes, and then I’d suffer a side effect afterward.’

So, for now, I haven’t decided to use it to test anything.

Anyway, if the first active effect was already this impressive, I wonder what the other two will be like.

I feel like they might be even better than Pandemonium.

Yeah, at first glance, it didn’t seem like a big deal, and the only thing any Awakened would drool over having would be this Trait’s active effect.

’The ability to take away a villain’s source of power.’

Even if it was only for 3 seconds, for powerful beings...

Those three seconds would mean the difference between life and death.

The enemy would literally become an ordinary human being or, in the case of villains, a powerless villain.

And what was a powerless villain?

Worse than an ordinary human being, or at least equivalent.

’With this, I even have a chance to kill a Class 6 villain.’

Naturally, even after taking away the enemy’s source of power, many variables still had to be taken into account.

Like sorcery engraved into their bodies for defense or attack.

Or magical items, relics, and so on.

Especially armor and other artifacts.

Villains are usually very well prepared in case they lose their Power of Chaos in the middle of a fight.

So I can only use this Trait at key moments, not all the time.

Then I moved on to the third Unique Trait.

[Active]-[Manipulation: You can change or alter gravity within a radius of 20 meters.]

[Active]-[Surface: You can use 1% of the planet’s gravity for three seconds.]

Note: Surface can only be used once a day. After that, you must wait exactly 24 hours from the third use.

Well, the third active effect is the reason why I selected this Trait.

Even if it was only 1%, it was already something overwhelming.

I have many ways to use it. For example...

If a Class 10 villain appeared before me, I could use 1% of the world’s gravity and suddenly increase the villain’s weight.

That would give me time to escape and, if I used it against weaker villains, it would give me a huge advantage in combat or during ambushes.

’Phew... what beautiful Traits. I feel a strange excitement while reading them.’

Leaving my strange thoughts behind...

Aside from the Unique Traits I obtained, there were also the normal Traits.

Spatial Movement was a Trait capable of moving objects or non-living beings to another plane.

Basically, it worked like storage.

But at Maximum Mastery, I could use it on myself.

That’s the reason why I chose it.

The second Trait was Immersion.

It was pretty simple. If there was something I was completely focused or immersed in, so to speak...

The Trait’s effect would increase my understanding of whatever I was focusing on.

One example would be my training. By being immersed in learning more, the Trait’s effect would make that learning much faster, approximately by 150%.

But, of course, if I left that state, the Trait’s effect would disappear, unless I brought the Trait to Maximum Mastery.

So that’s also why I chose the next Trait: Concentration.

It complemented Immersion very well, although naturally that wasn’t the only reason why I chose it.

At Maximum Mastery, it would help me stay calm and think of the best possibilities during a fight where everything happens quickly and you need to find a solution within seconds.

Another example would be a moment of choice, like deciding whether to save one person or another.

Using the Trait would help me focus more, without losing my composure or doing something stupid.

And finally, Spiritual Manipulation.

Just from the name alone, it was already clear what it meant: I could borrow the power of any spirit for a brief period of time and use all of its Traits.

Moreover, I also chose it because my master would soon become an Ancient Spirit.

’Phew... well, tomorrow I have a lot of things to do, so it’s time to sleep.’

Shortly afterward, I left my thoughts behind and immersed myself in the paradise of dreams.

I was mentally exhausted, and the fatigue was quite high.

In any case, the Traits I now have will be of great help.
