The Bloody Crown
Chapter 205: Transformation
It was as if golden scales rose from the floor, covering slender legs, outlining a rounded ass, wrapping around a thin waist and protecting the chest with a strong shield.
Soft curls fluttered in the wind, which lost its former fury in an instant. But it was so strange, the once magnificent chestnut hair was now clearly divided along the parting line, casting snow-white curls shimmering with a golden sheen on the other side. It was the same with the girl’s eyes, which were now steadily looking at Amanda. One eye was brown, and the other was a bright azure blue color.
The bright metal of Artemis’s crown had now faded to a dark graphite color, but it still attracted attention and admiration.
- Your voice has changed a little. You scared me a little bit. - Amanda whispered in one breath, not understanding who she was really talking to.
- It’s a side effect. - The girl’s soft smile touched the corner of her lips.
She walked over to Amanda and knelt down on one knee like a knight, slightly lifting the edge of her satin dress.
- It’s going to hurt a little, but you’ll get over it. - She addressed these words to the little vampire, hoping that she would not be afraid.
In the next moment, a sharp pain shot through Amanda’s entire body, causing her to lose her balance. But the girl did not let her fall, grabbing her hand and putting it on her shoulder.
Amanda felt as if her bones were cracking and splitting into pieces right under her skin, and then merging together and crumbling again. And it seemed that this cycle was repeated for such an unbearably long time before her eyes went dark and fireflies flashed from the pressure.
Finally, she pulled away, lowering the dress to its usual state, and standing up, she wrapped her arms around Amanda’s shoulders.
- Unfortunately, no one will ever be able to return your leg, but this is the most I can do for you for your kindness to me, for your love and care. And now use this newfound opportunity to take all pregnant women, the elderly and children as far away as possible. You can do it!
Amanda lifted the hem of her dress with trembling hands, noticing in the place of the missing foot and the blunt stub that remained after the amputation, a steel prosthesis that responded to nerve impulses no worse than her native limb.
It was truly incredible, a real miracle.
The junction of the steel seemed to merge with her skin, muscles and bones and looked so organic that it did not cause aesthetic dissatisfaction.
She couldn’t resist twirling her foot in a circle, feeling no discomfort. Of course, she couldn’t feel any sensations in that place, but she intuitively knew how to step on the foot, how to bend it, as if it were an exceptional magic.
- Everything that you listed, I did for you for free, but now I feel indebted for such an incredible gift. Thank you, dear Thea. - Amanda caught Thea’s intonation, even though the tone of her voice had changed. – I will do everything to get people as far away as possible and I will return to you. I won’t leave you there alone.
Her firm confidence made the girl smile.
- Be careful. Take care of yourself. - The words were followed by a strong hug, which caused anxious feelings about whether they would be able to meet again or if these were their last moments when they could say the most important words to each other.
Amanda nodded and, not even paying attention to the crutch thrown aside, picked up the girl in her arms and using her vampire speed, disappeared from the place in an instant.
"I promised that I would return your body to you when it was over." - Artemis said, before opening the cap of a small glass bottle with one gesture, where a small amount of Raphael’s blood was still visible at the bottom.
"I will keep my promise."
She took a sip, swallowing the unpleasant contents.
"You do realize that’s not enough to turn me into a vampire, don’t you?" - Thea scoffed at this ridiculous attempt, but Artemis didn’t respond.
- Everyone get ready! - Milos’s loud shout echoed through the surrounding area of the palace.
– Into battle! - Temi Tea began to scream
The thin, ashen matter of the labyrinth crumbled, leaving behind a dusty haze in the air, before huge, raging ogres rushed forward in a massive assault.
They banged their powerful fists on the ground with a bang, creating the very sound that the vampires had been hearing for several days. The shockwave knocked the vampires off their feet.
Temithea reacted instantly, throwing her arms forward, a column of tree roots rose from the ground, which was entwined by the ogres’ hands. It was too dangerous to approach these mythical creatures, who were known to possess poisonous blood and saliva. As soon as the particles of bodily fluids got on the skin, terrible trophic ulcers appeared, not healing and rotting, and if the dose was too high, it led to death. And no amount of rapid regeneration would help either vampires or werewolves.
It was necessary to be able to deliver a pinpoint strike before they find yourself in a dangerous trap.
Temithea shook her hand, revealing a glittering sword that merged with her right hand. She rushed into battle without delay, flashing a murderous gaze full of alienation, contempt and a thirst for revenge.
- Cover Dexter. - She shouted to Nicole when an ogre appeared in her field of vision, intending to tear him to pieces.
Taking advantage of the sluggishness and huge mass of the blunt-nosed creature, she tucked her legs in, allowing her body to slide between the ogre’s legs before quickly rising, thrusting the sword between his shoulder blades and spinning it several times before the creature fell in a dead heap.
- And this is interesting.
She curiously examined the bloody sword that had sunk into the ogre’s bulky body like soft butter. Easy and casual. So that’s why Raphael has never been equal with this sword.
- Be careful! - Adeline’s scream brought her out of her momentary reverie before the huge brown wolf slammed into the ogre’s side at full speed, knocking him aside before he could injure her.
- Don’t get distracted. You and you, Nicole, continue to create protection for our people. Not a single drop of blood should get on their skin.
A thousand-strong army of vampires merged with the enemy in some kind of frenzied orgy, it was not clear who was where, where were their own, and where were the enemies, while bliars were seen among the ogres.
Temithea was positioned in the very center of the battle clash, repelling attacks and dodging raging ogres.
- God, there are so many of you here. - She sighed angrily, seeing no end to their number.
Plunging her sword into another ogre, she screamed desperately, trying to raise her own morale, and drove the sword into the ground with force, passing her magic through it.
Inch by inch, the ice crust began to spread under the feet of the combatants. The ogres fell like a shapeless weight, unable to stand on the slippery surface, and at that moment the vampires twisted their thick necks.
It was a good solution that helped minimize the risk of blood loss of the creature and reduce their number exponentially.
---------
My dear readers. I apologize if it seems too confusing to you to frequently change the names Temi and Thea, but I tried to show two people in one body as much as possible. I hope I haven’t confused you too much. From this Chapter, when they united in one body together, I did not try to be wise and called them TemiTea LOL. It would be difficult to remember any other name and not remember "Damn, who is this?". So, please don’t throw slippers too much, I promise, I will finish my story soon and everyone will take their own body and return their name!
I love you, kittens <3
